Brilliant lender
Brilliant, Complicated client with a large BTL remortgage and cap raise to build the portfolio but has a few past blips and credit issues, FHL especially Kirsty and the underwriter Sarah, looked at the client as a whole, really understood him and what he was looking to achieve and all worked hard to help the client. Client is over the moon, Thank you

A true willingness to get a deal done.
We have competed a few cases with FHL and this has to have been one of the tricker ones!
The team, beginning with Cheryl through to the telephone team and underwriters showed a true willingness to get the deal done.
Thank you to them for the persistence (and the client of course) but we got there!

Made the process so easy. I had a client who wasn't a homeowner and didn't currently rent but was purchasing a limited buy-to-let. I received a call from Emma Lewis, which was a surprise to hear from an underwriter! she was brilliant. Whenever I called, Fara Munir was always helpful and supportive, and I can't give any fault to them

As a broker
As a broker, I could not be more impressed with the service provided by this lender. The entire process was smooth and efficient – exactly what we hope for when working on behalf of clients. A special mention to the underwriter, Jenna, who was truly exceptional: approachable, clear, and incredibly prompt throughout. It made a real difference. I will absolutely be returning with my next client very soon. Highly recommended.

Would avoid where possible
Would avoid where possible - Underwriters pretty rude on the phone slow to get back if they email at all! Say they have emailed when they havent said there outstanding items on the case when they havent uploaded them.... pretty shocking for a lender in 2025

Great team and very active all times
Great team and very active all times, underwriter also pro actively answer all the responses on the quick manner and I am so impressed with their service levels. As a specialist lender their service levels and answering the questions and level of support was great
Peter my account manager was also so knowledgeable and support all times with the enquiries.
Overall a great team and very experienced underwriters and I will support my brokers to use foundation home loans as your specialist choice.
