Om Forman & Field
Skrivet av företaget
Forman & Field is part of the Forman family of companies spearheaded by H. Forman & Son, the world-renowned smoked salmon business that dates back to 1905.
Forman & Field is our gourmet food home delivery service. It's very simple. We source the finest foods from across the British Isles and whisk them, fresh as can be, to your doorstep.
Fish, meat, cheese, charcuterie – the very best we can find. We also make gourmet dishes for top restaurants and hotels so you get to try those, too, in the comfort of your home.
By the way, in case you're wondering, there is no Mr Field but there is a Mr Forman: Lance Forman, the great grandson of Aaron 'Harry' Forman who started this deliciously fishy tale.
WHY F&F FOOD TASTES SO GOOD
In a nutshell: Quality, freshness, and a team that cares.
1. All ingredients are fresh as a daisy. A freshly-picked super-fresh daisy.
2. Every dish is made to order. Your order arrives and we start preparing it. That’s it. Nothing sits on shelves. If an item arrives frozen, that’s because we want to lock in the freshness.
3. We only work with family-run, artisan suppliers. Because ethical husbandry, seasonality and flavour are their priority.
4. Everything is made by hand. We pack every order by hand, too, using specialist protective packaging.
5. We use overnight couriers. It means your food arrives in tip-top condition.
LONDON’S FIRST EVER PROTECTED FOOD
We’ve been producing London Cure Smoked Salmon for over a century, so it was a proud day for us when our ‘London’ Cure’ smoked salmon was recognised as a delicacy worthy of PGI Certification. PGI status, enforced by law, is designed to protect and celebrate traditional regional foods similar to Champagne, Parma ham, Melton Mowbray pork pies and Wensleydale Cheese to name just a few.
Not only is ‘London Cure Smoked Salmon’ now the only smoked salmon in the world with protected status, but London’s first ever food or drink to achieve this coveted recognition.
The PGI label also protects consumers from buying cheap imitations that are not of equivalent quality or have a different flavour. But with Forman’s you don’t need to worry. We are the only smoked salmon producer in the world to hold this coveted status.

Delicious salmon paupiettes
We were absolutely delighted with the smoked salmon parcels with crab and lobster which we had as a starter on Christmas Day. We will definitely have this again.
The service I received from F&F was first class and the food was well packaged and arrived on the due date

Excellent quality food
Excellent quality food. Easy to use website. Food always arrived on delivery date, ice packs and insulated boxes, ensure food fresh and in great condition. Christmas, Birthdays and other celebrations would not be the same, without Forman and Field foods. Staff on phone always helpful and friendly.

Simply the best.
This the third time I've bought a hamper from Forman and Field and can't say enough nice things about them. All the food is extremely fresh, well presented, and of very high quality. I buy the "Ultimate Care Hamper" for an elderly relative. Almost everything in the hamper can be frozen and used bit-by-bit, so there's no waste and the hamper lasts for ages. Their customer service is second to none, if there is any issue or query, it will be answered very quickly, sometimes within the hour. Overall this is a great company to deal with, fabulous products and excellent service.

Forman over function - very poor
Such a shame. Wonderful range and good customer service/communication up to the point of delivery. Goods were sent in a box at least 4x too big with no additional packaging. As a result, by the time it was delivered, expensive produce like lobster and soft cheeses looked like they had been in a tumble dryer. I could not get through on the phone , I did email but got no response and so was not able to rectify in time for Christmas wasting a substantial of money. I made an order from the Fish Society who I normally use which arrived yesterday, expertly packaged and in perfect condition. Really very unhappy with Forman and Field. Please do not resort to blaming it on being busy at Christmas. Knowing many customers have ordered specifically for this day means you should ensure enough resource to manage last minute issues to avoid this sort of situation occurring.

Hi Kay,
So sorry to hear of your experience, this is really disappointing for me to read. I've had a look for your original e-mail but I couldn't find it, would you mind sending it again please? info@formanandfield.com - I'll get back to you when we get into the office on Wednesday, I hope that's ok.
Kind regards,
Beth

Very good quality food and excellent customer service
We’ve ordered several times from Forman and Field - mostly for others as gifts, but having treated ourselves twice this year, I wish we’d done so more! The food is delicious, very well packaged and a real treat. What really topped it off was the customer service - very attentive and quick to respond to my queries. They resolved these and delivered every time, which I wasn’t really expecting, due to time and having to address them during busy periods. Many thanks Beth and the team for being very helpful and personable. Would highly recommend this company.

Better than shopping a Fortnums or Chanel
The level of customer service is exemplary and Fortnum and Mason could learn a great deal from you! You honestly should be giving trainings to other similar outfits, and wining customer service awards everywhere. Even Chanel cares less about its clients!
Honestly, you made the whole weekend delightful and I am sure my family will be ordering from you again.

Hassle-free shopping and delicious food!
My experience of shopping with F&F was all very straightforward and stress-free. The ingredients and preparation requirements for the various dishes one could order were all very clearly explained on the website and the ordering process was very straightforward. It was good to be able to choose an appropriate delivery-date for my order and all the food was all really well packaged and very well protected in transit, and stayed nice and cool in the fridge with the insulated packaging. And most importantly, the food itself - we had Smoked Salmon Paupiettes and a Dressed Lobster - was absolutely delicious!
We ordered as a special treat for our wedding anniversary and I will certainly order again from F&F for a future special occasion - highly recommended!

London's finest mince pies
London's finest mince pies, and many other wonderful things in an extensive catalogue. Everything is British, which is nice, though perhaps the cheeses aren't the most inspiring that can be found on this isle. Smoked salmon is their roots of course -- very good, a bit darker and saltier than Loch Fyne if you're used to that.
