They forged my husbands signature on the document to charge us £570 and now claim it’s because we wanted a COPY of our booking ref! Why would anyone pay £571.00. We originally called in to add extra bags and they said it would be £60 admin charge. So what is £570 for? We didn’t get any bags added or any changes made. They simply scammed us out of £570 and now claim we called and asked for a copy of our booking ref and that’s why they charged us £570

ATOL protection is crucial as it ensures that your money is protected if the travel company fails. Without this, there’s a significant risk involved in booking with them1.
No Company Registration: I also couldn’t find any record of Flights Edge being registered with Companies House. This is a basic requirement for any legitimate business operating in the UK, and its absence is a major red flag2.
No Business Address: Flights Edge does not provide a business address. A legitimate company should have a physical address where it operates from, and the lack of this information makes it difficult to trust the business.
No Reviews on Major Platforms: There are no reviews for Flights Edge on Feefo, Trustpilot, or Google. Reviews on these platforms are essential for gauging the reliability and customer satisfaction of a company. The absence of any feedback is highly suspicious and suggests that the company might not be trustworthy.
Conclusion: Given these significant issues, I strongly advise against booking with Flights Edge. The lack of ATOL protection, company registration, business address, and customer reviews all point to a potentially fraudulent operation. It’s crucial to ensure that your money and travel plans are safe, and unfortunately, Flights Edge does not provide the necessary assurances.
Who was I about to give my money to? It’s a question worth considering very carefully before proceeding with any transactions.
