Not too easy to understand reports.
Plus, no customised actions to take based on your specific results.

You get a lot of data for your money, and it's really interesting. You do have to wade through the reports to gain the insights. If there is one thing I would be negative about it is the sheer quantity of data. A summary of highlights would be very helpful.

The information is amazing, the descriptions are long and sometimes you need to read 2x to actually get it, I’d love it to be this or that, green or red.
I’d love the option to export a list and read it all instead of clicking through each section.
Great insights, I’d say it should be more expensive for what you get!

I did the test to have a better idea of what to eat and how to exercise effectively, but there is an overwhelming amount of information to wade through. It's good that the information is detailed, but it would be easier to interpret if it was written in an easier to understand way. I would prefer the results to say 'do this' or 'don't do this'. You get a lot of information for the price when compared to other such products, I just wish I understood more of it!

The latest report received deals with a personality trait relating to empathy and sociability. I am impressed with its accuracy and also with the reach of the influence of genes. On the whole the reports issued by Fitness Genes accord with my own impressions. They also offer an indication as to where you are on the 'spectrum' of a particular trait in relation to others.

This is an edited review - in my first post I was more than a little overwhelmed at the vast amount of information and lack of direction, but the team reached out and offered a video call to help understand the results. Subsequently I am feeling much more positive about it! Thanks Alex Auld for your time and patience, and also for taking on board my initial comments about being overwhelmed with info, and glad that the team are taking steps to improve the user experience.

I now feel much better placed to understand the data and feel that it will absolutely help me towards my health goals.

Really practical and detailed data on traits and genetics that I can act on to improve health and wellbeing. The level of personalization, both in the analysis and the related training programs, makes this very valuable.

The results of the dna test have helped me make choices, when it comes to my lifestyle, that had a profound effect on my performance on all fronts.

A must have app for anyone serious about their health

I have really enjoyed the feedback from my dna result. I have received so much information it has been really interesting. I am trying out some of the suggestions for my self-improvement so hopefully it does help.

Just a load of information with little structure. Repetitive “help” boxes - as you scroll through loads of them say the exact same thing. Not really clear what you’re supposed to do with the information.

I was fascinated by my results. I wanted some insight into my health so that I can make positive and personalized changes to reach my personal goals. The process has been fascinating and It has been a very insightful journey thus far. It is quite a futuristic approach to personalized medicine and im all for it. Im hoping that this will now open doors to improve my health in general - there's lots of info and still making my way though the reports.
However, I wish there was an app where we can easily access traits and recommendations, but also it would have been helpful to have someone explain how to read through the traits/reports and perhaps discuss any concerns. I found it overwhelming to review everything. I also think a heads-up to certain traits would have been helpful e.g opt in or out of certain traits I may not want to consider at the moment or a detailed information on the traits that would actually be reported to provide some time to prepare! Or a chance to follow up/discuss traits.

Finding it absolutely fascinating to see how my genetics can help me adapt a lifestyle plan for health and fitness. Something I’ve worked out over the years but I now have scientific backup and some changes I can now implement immediately.
The company were great and I received a blue light discount.
This will make for great Christmas presents for my family.

I love that fitness genes give me insights into my own biology and make recommendations based on research. For me this is the absolute best way to approach things, and I have reaped huge benefits (from a different programme) with my diet and nutrition. In comparison, fitness genes was much cheaper than the diet programme so that was a good start already! The testing was easy, and it was fascinating to get results. Although this type of DNA testing doesn't deliver bad news (as some of the old disease risk ones could) it can be disappointing when your genes are less than ideal, and you can't change them! However, I love that fitness genes use your lifestyle data (you complete this) to give lifestyle scores alongside of your various genetic risk scores (for things like metabolism) - this really helps you see where good efforts pay off! As others have said, it is hard to know what to focus on to make positive changes and I'm not an expert, so I asked customer services for help. Alex (Auld) was really helpful - he knows what to look out for and understands how these genes impact on our fitness and goals. He asked about my goals and then helped me find key areas to focus on. I'm really grateful for his expertise because I now have a focused list and manageable recommendations to work with. This has made a big difference as now I can work with my results, rather than just keeping them as interesting data. As a suggestion for fitness genes, it would be nice to be able to see before you buy workouts - either tasters or previews could be helpful before signing up.

It was so interesting the results they gave you - more than you expected to know about yourself. I’m not versed in scientific/medical terms but they explained very well. I’ve gotten tips on how to reach my fitness goals based on my genetics so very excited to see how everything turns out. Just wish they had an app like 23&me.

I have just received all the reports. Even though there’s so much information to go through, the layout of different parts are really well organized so I can take my time to review each section thoroughly. I am surprised of the breath & depth of key areas, which are informative directly relating to my current health situation, so much to discover.

I would highly recommend this program to everyone who is considering but not yet participating.

I'm really enjoying the regular information and am gradually absorbing it , its very interesting and useful as I move forward

Really good to have the full report plus love the emails that come through with different focus areas as this helps me to digest the large amount of date in bitesized chunks!
