Firsty started with a promising concept, but recent updates have turned it into a frustrating and unpredictable service.
Constant price hikes: Out of nowhere, the price for a 1-day unlimited plan jumped from €2.50 to €3.50 — a massive 40% increase with no proper heads-up. Rates and packages keep changing every single month.
Flawed "Free" mode: The free data system was changed to a complex data-collection model. Worse yet, loading advertisements to earn data actually consumes the data you’ve already collected!
Pure chaos and discrepancies: Information on their official website frequently contradicts what you actually see inside the app. Their marketing and development teams clearly aren't on the same page.
Changing conditions and pricing every month shows they are using paying customers as beta testers. Hard to trust a travel connectivity service that lacks basic stability. 2/5 stars.

We're continuously improving Firsty based on feedback from our users while keeping in mind the economical feasibility, so you'll occasionally see changes as we work to make the experience better. Our new plans did come with a small price increase, but they also introduced simpler global pricing, meaning you now pay the same rate regardless of whether you're in a cheap or expensive destination.
The latest update is still rolling out, and we've already made several improvements for Firsty Free, including increasing the daily limit to 360 MB, allowing up to 240 MB to carry over to the next day, while still letting you earn another 360 MB that day.
We also understand your point about ads using data you've already earned. We know that's not the ideal, and it's something we're actively working to improve.
We appreciate your honest feedback and hope you'll give Firsty another chance as we continue making the app better.

Firsty is the best esim app I have ever…
Firsty is the best esim app I have ever encountered. However the new system that is 20mb per ad is worse than the better watch ad to get 256kb/s speed. That used to send WhatsApp messages and get way more data usage per 30 minutes, but now limited to 200mb per day barely downloads whatsapp image.
But I bought a global package 20GB for 20 euros, really good but ping issue can be resolved it does not have to go to Belgium etc. The customer service is good really fast and helpful.

Ich hatte Probleme mit meiner App, die dafür gesorgt hat, dass ich keine Werbung schauen konnte bzw. nach der Werbung keine Datenverbindung hatte. Daraufhin hat mir der sehr kompetente Support (Julia) helfen können.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit Firsty und würde es jedem weiter empfehlen.
Vor allem der kostenlose Daten-Tarif ist eine echte Revolution in der Mobilfunk-Branche.

Es funktioniert. Das Internet war in meinem kurztest für Claude, Google ai Mode und sogar YouTube brauchbar. Der Test war in der Wohnung über Salt 3G/5G. Es ist wirklich gratis und die E SIM Instelation war natürlich super Easy

Firsty wordt aanbevolen in de KBC app dus vond ik het wel een goed idee om dit eens te proberen. Alles geïnstalleerd maar eenmaal op bestemming werkt niets. Support is minimaal (standaard tekstjes van Firsty over hoe je moet inschakelen), KBC Support reageert iets beter, maar ook vrij standaard met bijna de moraal van het verhaal "het is je eigen domme schuld dat het niet werkt". Nooit gedacht dat KBC met zo een rotzooiproduct in zee is gegaan, ze zijn zo stilaan een Turkse bazaar aan het worden daar. Soit, schijt schijt centen kwijt, zodra ik terug thuis ben vliegt die Firsty first things om er nooit meer in te komen

Had connection problems but with excellent support it was quickly fixed
I was having multiple problems with connection and the support was very helpful with first guiding through all required settings and when that didn't help it was quick to assign human agent that helped me get access to service within a day with quick responses. After that I had no issues with it! Really happy that I'm able to try service for free and always have a connection with Firsty Free

Easy to Navigate and cheap
The app is very well made. It offers excellent service for free or a premium plan. Still very cheap and flexible options. Being able to also hold onto the tokens you didn’t use during the trip is an amazing feature.

FFS Firsty F Super. An absolute must on holiday.
I had an issue connecting to their free service (which is an absolute lifesaver) whilst on a cruise. I used their AI which is very good but I couldn’t resolve a difficult problem. They put me through to a customer service team and I messaged Julia who was very helpful and patient. Because of technical issues Starlink( the ship internet connection) would disconnect in some ports due to commercial contracts. Julia explained how to change some settings and bingo all working.
It is such a useful service to be able to use messaging and Grab Uber and google maps whilst well away from home. I absolutely recommend!
