Excellent communication when shipment stalled
Note: This review is for the company, not the product, which was a gift, so I have not personally seen or used it.
I sent two of these for Christmas gifts to Canada. The company was clearly the victim of its own successful holiday ad campaign, so it had to produce new stock quickly. In my case, the products got stuck in the customs backlog following the recent Canada Post strike, which delivers the last mile of most shipping services. They responded to my email asking about the delay within 24 hours, explaining the issue, apologized appropriately, asked for my patience, and offered to resend if necessary after a suitable wait. After that, email correspondence did go silent, but they responded three times to me on Messenger within a few hours. They were able to give me a tracking number and an expected delivery date.
Messenger to their FB page was the most efficient communication method. I'm only writing this review because I noticed others reported a poor experience when trying to communicate Messenger, which was the opposite of my experience. As a small business owner I know too well the pain of poor reviews when we've done everything to satisfy a customer when things go wrong. The parcels arrived at their destination on January 9.
