Hi Ruaridh,
Thank you for your kind words and positive review. Regarding lead time, some products have a longer lead time, and where applicable this is published on the product page. With this one being a US import, a lead time of 4-6 weeks is advertised, with the proviso that we will of course send the order as soon as possible. It's great to hear that you were happy with the product quality, and we hope to hear from you again.

Hello,
Hello,
I placed an order for 3 audio cassettes, but unfortunately the packaging was completely insufficient and provided no protection for the cassettes.
I received all three cassettes broken/damaged. I hope we can find a solution to this problem quickly. Otherwise, I will have to open a dispute with PayPal.
Thank you, and I look forward to your response.
I would like to update my review following the partial compensation of €10 that I received.
I still would have appreciated more care being taken with the packaging of the tapes. Bubble wrap and a proper cardboard box would have been much more appropriate. I often order from Supreme Chaos Records and other websites, and I have never had the slightest problem with packaging — everything is always very well protected.
It is really unfortunate to send audio tapes in an extremely thin padded envelope. It was almost certain that they would arrive damaged or broken under those conditions.

Hi Jocelyn,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you had a poor experience. We will provide further context, as this is a complex case.
This relates to an eBay order.
The customer opened a return request. Three weeks later, they messaged explaining that for various reasons it had not been possible to send the package yet. We accepted this, and said that the package could be returned at their convenience. eBay has a policy of timing out returns that have not updated within their allocated timeframes, with no refund issued. This a failsafe to ensure that buyers did actually return packages. The seller is not notified when returns time out. The delay in returning the package triggered eBay's automatic time-out process, without a refund being issued.
Separately, we are based in and ship from the UK. This order was sent to the USA. We offer various return addresses outside the UK. This service is supplied by our international returns partner, which processes returned packages and reports them to us once they have gathered various information from the package. There is usually a delay of one or two working days between the package being delivered to our returns partner, and us receiving a report that the package has been delivered.
Combined, this made for unfortunate timing, as the customer had returned the package shortly before the return timed out. This led the buyer to believe that we had declined to issue a refund, even though they had in fact returned it, so they believed that we had gone back on our word.
The day after this review was left, our returns partner reported the package's arrival, and we issued the refund as promised.
We are pleased to have resolved the matter for the customer.
We urge any customer experiencing an issue with returns to contact us directly, and our team will be happy to resolve the matter.
