website quote scam you should be aware of
After entering full details for my classic motorcycle insurance quote on a comparison website, I close Express Insurance(Carol Nash) as the best cover at the cheapest price. The price shows as £51.34 on Express Insurance website and I quickly proceeded torwards payment. Just before getting to the payment screen, I was asked for my registration number, odd, as this had already been entered on the comparison website, cross referencing the correct bike make and model. I almost missed the fact that re-entering the registration number added exactly £16 to the price, so now £67.34 for a reason that could not be explained or resolved by the company. Putting this review up to warn others as I almost clicked the payment button before noticing the unexpected price increase.

I appreciate the prompt response Michelle as indeed I also appreciate the effort one of your staff made at the time to resolve this situation. The facts unfortunately remain, all the details necessary were entered to provide the comparison website quote which as usual progressed to the company website and payment. Raising the price for no reason and particularly in a way that could have been missed and extra payment made cannot possibly be justified. I am sufficiently disappointed and have already wasted enough time on this, so as nothing useful has been or can be done, apparently, complaining in a way that will warn others.

This process was a breath of fresh air. Normally to get motorcycle insurance is long winded but the software they use for the forms is very efficient.
Also everything was very clear and I did have reason to contact them by phone, customer services was very helpful and sorted the issue out very quickly. It was actually my fault. Finally the pricing was very clear and also exceptionally cheap.
