Everlast Dunstable
Before it was taken over by everlast,everything was ok in Dunstable .Steam room is not working,only one hot tub from 2 was working,Swimming pool is full of bloodied plasters and chewing gums.Discusting and as I was using gym for steamroom and swimming pool I felt, I don’t get full service.Cancelled my membership and direct debit.Today got email I owe them extra one month and 10£ service fee total 48£.I told them,I’m not gonna pay that extra month,as I don’t get full service from them and refusing to pay,simple.As I don’t want my credit history to get dirty as Everlast customer service and swimming pool ,customer service could not help and told me to email them with complaint,I was shocked,why I waited i queue for 50 minutes ?Complaining live over the phone to them once I got hold of them and then they say they can’t help 🤣Why you have customer service at all???Tó tell me to email them??I want problem solved straightaway and over a phone,not sending emails to black hole.Main worry is now this 48£ they claim I owe them and on other line is my credit score.They are daylight robbery and I’m gonna have battle of the minds with them,if needed I will get up to this Ashley son in law to get my 48£ back and tell them,they are worse than Frog pond in Zimbabwe who ripping off customers as I’m getting less than I signed up for.People avoid at any cost!
Halifax Gym is a disgrace
The gym at Halifax is a disgrace. The spa has been out of order for over a month. There has been no hot water for over a week, and when I went last night the swimming pool and steam room were out of order too. Half the cross trainers have been out of order for at least the last 2 months and about 3 tread mills. This gym has certainly gone down hill massively since it was taken over by Everlast. I wonder if we will be see a reduction on our membership fees seeing as we cannot use most of the facility's we are paying for??
Avoid like the plague
This is the second gym I’ve been a member of and does not compare at all to my first which was the wonderful Livingwell.
The Everlast in Halifax appears to be the only private gym In the town with a pool, which is why I joined it. It is a complete joke. Spa has been out of use about a month now. Hot water nearly a week and I arrive today and pool not working either! No reduction in monthly fees. What an absolute joke #Everlastfitness is. Avoid like the plague. If you are stupid enough to join go for the sharp exit no penalty option.
Would give zero stars if I could.
Waste of money
Waste of money. Jacuzzis constantly broke , can t have a steam first thing in the morning or broken with door open. When one Jacuzzi gets fixed they close the other one. Floors are filthy, take half of gym machinery out and see all the wannabe Mr worlds complain. The direct debit won t be broke on the 1st of the months.

I have found the Derry/Crescent Link to be wonderful. Especially understanding and empathy with personal issues too. I am going today or tomorrow. For HOLISTIC health. The manageress is absolutely lovely as are all staff. I have lost head at times but that was because of personal stuff. Give them a chance for goodness sake you whiners. I actually believe it better than DW.

Everlast Gyms are terrible
It seems that I'm not the only one regretting joining everlast, I was a dw member previously which was OK.
The 2 Jacuzzis did not work for 2 months, was told "couple more days" everytime I asked when would they be fixed, now 1 has started working intermittently. No abs machines anymore, showers broken, broken tiles, mouldy and peeling paint. Customer support is a joke, the only time I got a response was weeks after giving notice (which has still not been acknowledged) I have been emailed that an additional charge will be made because I have cancelled the direct debit. The automated email cannot be replied to of course.

I would avoid at all cost if you can. When their complaints handler Christina replied to my email with the response “we’re all human” I was baffled at Everlasts lack of ownership.
HORRIFIC! Mortifyingly poor replacement for DW SPORT
Everlast is certainly NOT worth the £30+ per month membership price it charges. The staff are well looked after by HR and regional managers therefore diabolical customer service is tolerated, however members are really not cared for -ironic as gyms/clubs need members to exist.
DW was utterly wonderful! Bridged the gap between lower priced clubs/facilities and the top ones. DW offered a fabulous range of classes, instructors, members and staff. A gym that many were members for repeatedly year after year.
Unfortunately, Everlast taking over can only be described as beyond disappointing. Their take over left many previous members seriously dissatisfied and without a gym altogether as they refused to pay £32+ for a £10 gym.
The class schedule is dull and boring- regardless of new class names, the instructors lack creativity or the ability to motivate and the new staff- arrogant and rude- the membership is massively over priced for what is offered.
Class booking works only for those that do not work- an unemployed favourable gym is a perfect description of Everlast. If classes are missed, and often even if they are not, members are punished with a strike system that prevents further booking or even class visibility on the app- yet you are still expected to pay the full membership price. When challenged about the class strike system, as a member you are offered to leave and find a new gym.
The complaints system is non existent. The regional managers back their staff regardless of their errors, leaving you unheard, a lack of a basic apology and basic lack of customer care.
There is a reason the gym and classes are empty, and it’s nothing to do with covid! It is solely to do with this company!
Save your money and train absolutely anywhere else.

Stay clear avoid at all cost, paid upfront had confirmation Everlast was taking over account from DW,, i still can't use their gyms or facilities, Seen proof of payment they still suggested I can't prove that they had the money ok, I shown him confirmation from Everlast was taking over my account that I could still use the facilities, they said they had no idea of that emails been sent, constantly asking for proof, almost insinuating I was making up or trying to obtain something that I did not pay for, disgusted at Blackburn spoken several times to management who are absolutely useless, suggest you go somewhere else rather than them, do not answer your emails when you do pay them a visit they are rude disrespectful unhelpful with lot of passive aggression, has yet still not acknowledged membership or refunded me £480.
I cancelled my membership
I cancelled my membership, paid the first month then cancelled my DD as the place is so dirty, especially the pool and changing room I didn’t want to go there anymore, Colchester. They then keep emailing me saying I owe money, so to get them off my back tried calling head office. Always in a queue, hours on end, so eventually emailed again asking for somebody to contact me, automated answer said they would, back in August. Nobody did, today I have received an email saying that I now owe nearly three times as much! They are the biggest joke ever, and my advice is don’t ever ever join that tin pot atrociously run club. Nil stars.
Such poor customer service
Been members of dw for years. Now it everlast customer service is diabolical. User derby steam and jacuzzi out of action fir months. Showers constantly play up. Went months with no yoga classes. My wife has now had an accident that means she can't use the gym, happened on the 1st of the month, but they will only freeze it at the end of the month. Just interested in money, not the customer. Leaving as soon as we can.

apart from that I found the parking a little strange as not allowed at certain times plus others from the nursery taking up places.
Dirty grubby changing rooms,Pool always full of children at the only times I could use it.

Little atmosphere, stupid parking arrangements, offhand staff - don't bother
If you want a gym with little atmosphere - and stupid car parking arrangements which were not explained to me when I joined - then go for Everlast gym Lakeside. I ended up having to pay a parking fine (not explained to me when I joined). And when I got home and a friend told me why he had not joined Everlast, I called the gym about sorting out the parking, but they were 'unable to help'
Not sure why people would join this gym. Just over the road is a Pure Gym - great atmosphere and friendly rather than offhand staff, and free parking for as long as you want.
I wish I had read the reviews on here before joining. My Everlast membership has now been cancelled. Duh.

I went for a monthly membership knowing that I didn't want to commit to a long-term contract, and then asked the staff to help me change it when I realised I couldn't do classes, I signed the form they told me to and went on my merry way.
I received an email to confirm the change (checked the price all was as expected) and then life happened, and I've had to change my workouts to be home-based. I contacted the memberships team via the online form and received a message today say it'll be 6 months until they until they'll stop taking my money.
I phoned thinking it's an oversight and they were so rude. My favourite part of the conversation was being told the supervisor has said they can't do anything, and then when asking to speak to the supervisor to be told she's on lunch?! I eventually got through to a supervisor (who was defensive and seemed prepared for a phone call battle - repeated the same 'scripted' lines ) and was told I signed it so, therefore, I have no leg to stand on, and the email confirmation stated the new terms so I should have checked. Despite the fact, I wasn't told this in the gym when I asked to add classes to my current membership and I fully trusted the Everlast team to just add classes on, not put me on to a contact!
Please just avoid - so many more gyms are flexible with cancellations, and give a more human element to customer service rather than this awful chain. Even a tiny bit of empathy or compassion would have made this experience better, but AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Greedy
The greedy (use any explicit word) are charging me a £10 admin fee for cancelling my membership as well as charging me the next months £35. I could not call or email through to get a response about cancellation so I just cancelled the debit and now I have to pay to not use a service I don’t want to use. I’m disgusted, I hope the company collapses
Your worst NIGHTMARE
I am afraid that this 1 star that I am giving is way too much for the club, which will rip you off for the service that is below average. It is near impossible to contact them. I am now being harassed to pay the money for the service that I have not used since April. I have applied for termination of contract and guess what: only receiving the email 4 months later to say that I owe money!!!!! AVOID!

Please do not give this company your money! I am still awaiting a refund with regards my membership and paying up front for the year. They asked for documentation to process the refund and despite numerous phone calls, still at square one with them!! Utter rubbish and full of excuses!! How they get away with, I don’t know!
