Said 3-7 days but came within 24/48 hours. Great product and price, would recommend. Fantastic brand too!

Waste of money
Steam room broken, hot tub broken, lockers mostly broken, showers broken, changing rooms rarely clean, some of the equipment in gym broken, and if you complain to head office they just throw term's and conditions at you. Waste of money there's much better clubs around
Trying to cancel my membership is…
Trying to cancel my membership is becoming the most stressful thing i have ever had to cancel in my life!
Joined DW July 2015 where my contract states i need to give a calender months notice to cancel, received confirmation that my direct debit will take a full months payment on the 1st sept, i gave my notice on the 12th August as per T&C's it states the direct debit will take a pro rata payment therefore should end 11th sept.
Omg going back and forth with emails to the Halifax club who then stated it should end in November wth, i then stated my contract was from 2015 and was then asked by Halifax staff to prove this 🤣 so i dug out my contract and sent it over to them, then received an email from them to say it will still.take a full payment in september, sent over my t&c's and not had a response now today.absolute joke of a company and as i work im financial services i know my legal rights and will be taking this to the ombudsman. I hope others have and do so the same as this company is a shambles and breaking UK laws with how they are treating us ( as per all the other reviews).i for one won't be letting this drop
What customer service?
Since the change of owners, it's so clearly been about money. They are hiding behind covid as an excuse for the lack of response. I've been waiting nearly 7 weeks for a response to an email.
Add to the in the gym in Gloucester, the new system installed means they get stock in the fridge on Mon, it's gone by Wed and usually empty for another week.
The spa's are both faulty and at the time of this post, both are not working. The men's toilets need an upgrade. I stay only because of the swimming pool.
Shocking customer service at Head…
Shocking customer service at Head Office level. I feel really sorry for the local staff in Derby - they do an excellent job but their management and customer support at Head Office level is shocking.
I have had little to no communication at all throughout lockdown and tried to resolve an issue before going back - they never responded. When I finally went back to the club, Head Office wanted further communications yet they never responded to my original communications- why On earth would I have wasted time writing again. Terrible support for customers post covid.
Their position is not sustainable and predict liquidation soon…
Never had such a customer service in…
Never had such a customer service in years of training in different gym.
I can't describe my disappointe, unbelievable.
Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs - I am sure you can find other gyms that are more fair and ethical in their dealings with their customers.
There is clearly a theme running through these reviews about it being difficult to cancel membership and the desperate need to squeeze every penny from members even it appears when these have been caused by their own errors of failure to act?!!! A culture fostered from greed or need to keep afloat… I will let you decide.
Aweful company
Aweful company. Staff consistently give you the wrong information and good luck trying to cancel- it’s impossible.
I sent multiple emails to Everlast requesting to cancel and received confirmation emails. I then started to receive emails on a monthly basis telling me that I’m being charged for my membership + admin fee of £10.
I’ve been trying to resolve this for months and I can’t find anyone competent to help. Everlast (scammers that they are) are now asking for £40 in ‘fees’ to cancel my membership (even though I wasn’t on a fixed term).
Absolute disgrace stay well clear
Terrible support and do anything to get…
Terrible support and do anything to get money out of you. Provided proof for cancelling my gym membership due to moving away from university and they do not respond for a whole month and then add additional charges without any explanation.
Nightmare trying to cancel membership :(
I have been a member for over 10 years. Due to a change in my circumstances i no longer have time to use the gym, and i haven't trained in nearly 2 years. I sent a email mid July to ask them to cancel my membership, and i haven't had a response.
Another payment '£38' has just been taken from my account by direct debit so i have cancelled the direct debit at my end so i am not charged again.
If somebody from Everlast sees this review, please just cancel my membership as i have requested.
It shouldn't be this difficult for somebody to end their membership.
In the entire time i have been a member i have never missed or been late on a single payment.
Please treat me with a little bit of decency and process my request.
I will recommend this gym to anybody looking to join a gym, but if this issue isn't addressed i won't. I will of course change my review to positive once i received confirmation my membership has been cancelled.
Staff have no idea what theyre doing
After checking with a staff member whether my 12month membership would expire automatically - I was told yes and given the exact last date I could come in. Assuming my membership was cancelled and having changed banks I didn't transfer the direct debit yet was given the wrong information and ended up being charged for their error! They then told me they could not fix their own error as "the staff member doesn't work here anymore" despite the manager confirming he could "understand why the staff had said that exact date". Its a shame as I would have re-joined this gym once settled in my new location but will now never go near them again.
This company are awful beware
This company are awful.
Even if you cancel your membership and get confirmation, they will harass you for more money and threaten you with debt collection. Customer service is zero. They’ve even turned off their reviews and comments on social media…only a very scared company would do that. Be warned!
Cancelled my membership and they are…
Cancelled my membership and they are still chasing me for missed payments and do not reply to my emails. Awful customer service, do not recommend.
Terrible customer service, fraudulently take money.
DW was a great gym, and I loved the Les Mills classes. However, when Everlast took over, and stopped all the classes, I cancelled my 13 year long membership, as I only went for the Les Mills classes, so I had to find somewhere else to go.
I cancelled my membership in line with their Policy, and received an email to say that my final direct debit payment would be £19 (due to closures during covid).
However, they took £25.06 out instead of £19 - when I queried this by email, I received an apology saying they had made a mistake and would refund the £6.06 by cheque in a couple of weeks….that was 12 weeks ago, and I am still waiting!
I have emailed them about 20 times, and am always ignored. I have attempted to ring, and waited in the queue for hours, their telephone system must be a false system, because one minute it says “your wait time is 23 minutes”, then it changes to “your wait time is 94 minutes”, then “14 minutes” and then “zero minutes” - I waited on “zero minutes” for about 20 minutes, until it went back to “23 minutes” - surely Trading Standards must look into this fraudulent use of a telephone waiting system?
I have even messaged them on Instagram, but that has also been ignored. The only time I got a response was when I wrote on a post they had put on, and they deleted it - so I know it had been read!
I know it is only £6.06 that they owe me, but it is the principal, and my £6.06, not theirs. The fact that they fraudulently took a different amount from my bank account than they said they were going to, just shows what a disreputable company they are.
Keep a good eye on what they take from your Direct Debits - they are not to be trusted.
Emails are ignored, and I think the telephone line must be a false one - which really should be investigated by Trading Standards.
My advice would be to join another gym.
Fraud.
They bought it from DW with the intention of screwing every penny from members who wished to cancel. They are fraudulently taking direct debits from countless people. Unless you want this to happen to you, avoid at all costs.
‘Pregnancy is not an illness’… they told me
Tried to cancel in September and now in July and still trying. My reason. Pregnancy. Didn’t particular want to go to a gym in the middle of a pandemic whilst classed as high risk.
The manager at Halifax advised me that pregnancy isn’t an illness. Wow!
Would not recommend
Awful company
I can only echo what so many others have said, absolutely shocking company! I froze my membership while classes were off due to Covid. When I tried to unfreeze they just ignored me. Then they stopped Les Mills classes without notifying us. I chose to cancel, received an acknowledgment for this, but knowing their reputation cancelled my direct debit straight away. I have since received 2 emails charging me £10 for non-payment. The phone number on this email cut me off and the email address gave me an automatic response about how busy they were. I never received a response. Their bully tactics and complete lack of customer service means I will never go near this company again. Shame, because the actual gym staff were lovely.
Worst workplace ever!
If you like slaving away then this is the job for you! Worked there for over a year and half only to be told I will be made redundant on a 8 hour shift! I mean at least wait for my day off! I had to work through this shock and the management is so mean that they won’t tell you things like you don’t need to give a notice to leave as you don’t have a valid contract, management basically uses you to cover shifts but won’t issue you a full time job! Also wasn’t issued a new contract, head office implied they are busy to issue the contract but not busy enough to mess me about and not give me any set days off. Since COVID-19 the manager has made it a habit to always answer your questions with ‘it’s not my fault’ ‘speak to head office’ - there is no help and support within the organisation, when you do something wrong they will make you feel like youv murdered somebody and so ashamed instead of guiding you, if you want to be trampled all over then apply for a job here !
What a con
What a con. Walked in to join up asked info £30amonth if i want to cancel 3months cancellation so i joined as this is a second gym out off town. And only use rearly came back to use it was filthy. So it wasnt the gym for me. Went to gym to cancel told couldnt do it here and check terms as didnt get them when joined. So have to do online which i did. Recieved mail back say i cannot untill 6months. Wasnt told this. So tried to call 47min wait time on phone then went to 94min wait waited waited still no answer. So to put you off in gym not helpful says do online but nothing happens so i will cancel from bank and await a legal battle as this is unacceptable. Be verycareful of there tactics and false info
Nightmare company
I'm having a nightmare with this company. I tried to cancel in April. I eventually received a response in May acknowledging my membership had been cancelled and 'no further money would be taken from my account'. The next month in June, I noticed money had been taken from my account. I cancelled the direct debit and requested a recall through my bank, whilst emailing Everlast. I have now received an email requesting payment for June, plus a £10 admin fee.
I intend to fight these all the way.
Do not use this company.
I JUST WANT TO CANCEL!!!
I have been having the same issue as all the other posts. Been trying to cancel since April. Ended up cancelling my direct debt to get a response but now all I get is emails demanding payment and adding on admin fees.
I’ve tried numerous times to email them and call them, but they never answer and never reply to emails. In the end I went into the club and demanded (very loudly) that this be sorted out and fingers crossed it might be now (they were on hold to a different number SHOCK!). So, suggest anyone else with this issue to do the same.
All I want to do is pay what I owe and be done with this awful gym!
