Lost money because I couldn’t fit items
I purchased two items that I couldn’t fit.decided to return the items back to everlast,well I called and found out that I had to pay for my returns.Tolal price for the shirt and shorts was 134 plus tax,to send it back was 49.00.Hopefully I will get rest of my money with no problem.Wont buy any more unless in store
Flooded again
Gym flooded again for 2nd or 3rd time , obviously problems not been fixed . This is the UK. Will gym be closed every time there is heavy rain ? Embarrassing Standards
Ordered punch bag 5/7/12 stay clear!
Ordered punch bag 5/7/12, expected by 11/7/24, no delivery, no communication, support tickets take 48 hrs to reply, no telephone numbers, contacted through Facebook, no apologies, said lost!! Re ordered after another support ticket, then said shipped, evri saying expecting it, Facebook messages then ignored, support tickets another 48hrs, item said shipped but response was then “issue at warehouse” so clearly not shipped! I replied instantly with I want a refund, no communication what’s so ever but then next day email to say ordered cancelled, sent another ticket with 48 hrs reply , around 23/7/24 finally had reply to say refund processed , have now had refund but I strongly urge everyone to stay clear of ordering online from this company, trying to sort this out was nothing but a slog and no one cares for customer service, I had to ask the first contact in Facebook for an apology
They did however try to offer me free delivery and 10% off my next purchase , I will never use this company again !!
Disgusting customer service.
I’ve been trying to get on the app since the update and it doesn’t recognise my email address - it’s saying check your spam in a few minutes if you don’t get an email. Just rang the gym and explained - didn’t try and help just said send a email. I asked when my membership was up and again was told to send an email. She did….with a stinking attitude tell me I couldn’t cancel until end of September. I said I’ve only been twice as I hurt my knee in your swimming baths and haven’t been able to come back. Answer was get a doctors letter for early cancellation. I honestly thought the days of bad mannered customer service was behind us but no, not on this phone call! Wow Everlast - I’m so pleased you look after your members!
Cardiff Gym Instructors Shout at you
Cardiff Gym has changed a fair amount since Everlast took over, some things for the better but some things definitely for the worse. Still sad the Jacuzzis have been stopped without any consultation with Members. Main complaint though, is that the training the gym instructors receive seems to encourage them to shout at class attendees. The start of classes can be very demeaning and not welcoming at all. They don't explain the exercises or ask if you have any injuries. One girl instructor does and she is lovely but the others do very little on that front. Who is teaching them to begin classes this way? its just like 'you know what you're doing so get on with it'. It is not an enjoyable experience. Working out should be a fun experience and all attendees, especially new people need to be treated with more respect not like naughty school children. We are mature people who have a lot of responsibility in our jobs, managing people etc. Gym classes are meant to improve our mental health not diminish it, after a hard day at work. There are classes I will no longer be attending because of the shouting and inadequate and offensive starting of sessions. Its sad because some of the exercise routines are good.
Very bad customer service!!
Customer service is absolutely disgusting. Can't even speak on the phone. 50 odd emails back and forth and they are refusing to investigate my complaint because it happened in a club thats gone bust. And thats through the management team. Won't be going back to this gym! Looking into getting them investigated by fitness club ombudsman. I dont recommend!! There are many commercial gyms out there that are 100× better!

Absolute scam . Offer a 1 month trial and then I was 2 days out before I cancelled and they had started a 12 month subscription and chasing for the whole year

Everlast gym is one of the worst gym ever please stay away, customer service is extremely worst and I can’t believe how Halifax centre manager is extremely rude. I have sent Direct emails with no response. I’ve called for an update. They asked me to actually put in a direct debit mandate on my account while I’m not owing them a dime for me to have a direct debit set on in order for them to do what exactly I’ve got no idea.

Non Stop Marketing Texts!
They will not stop sending marketing texts twice a week and its not possible to block them. I have emailed them to stop as have others below, with no luck!!
I didnt even give them my info, they took it from the previous organisation they took a gym over from!!

Everlast, gym Thurrock, Lakeside gym is absolutely gone, downhill loads of machines cables are broken and not been repaired for weeks if you’re thinking of joining don’t bother.
Horrible costumer service
I was using Glasgow east gym for a while and the swimming pool was in bad condition.... later I got a email that Glasgow east gym is closing and I have 2 options 1 to be transferred to Glasgow fort 2 to cancel my membership for free. I choose to cancel but they ignored my request, after arguing with them for 1 months they finally say it's will be cancelled. Now out of nowhere my membership was transfered to Glasgow fort and everyone ignores that fact that my request was to cancel membership. Horrible costumer service!!! No one knows what they doing!!!! Never recommend anyone to go there!!!!

They won’t stop sending text marketing messages twice a week, despite emailing them and messaging to stop. Can’t block the number either.

I joined their Merthyr gym, online, at the end of April. I paid online and the money was taken from my account. Because of this I know my details were correct. After 4 weeks they wouldn’t let me in because they said my DD hadn’t been taken. I gave my DD details again, this time in person at the gym. When I tried to book a class after this it said that I’d need to pay a £10 charge for a day pass. So now my account was showing a months arrears and a £10 unpaid day pass (even though I hadn’t proceeded to book the class). I completed their online contact form about this but had no response. I ended up needing surgery the same week so didn’t go to the gym until I was well enough 2 weeks later. I spoke to a member of staff who said that he could see all my details were correct and didn’t know why no payment had been taken. I was still unable to use the gym. He gave me a contact number and email address but the number has an automated message saying ‘for the best customer service it doesn’t take calls’ WHAT? And the emails were returned as undeliverable. Then randomly they took a payment from my account but STILL wouldn’t let me use the gym! I have since tried their contact form again and been in store with no help. I’ve tried tweeting them twice too. I’ve had an email response tonight that makes no sense because there words missing from it, it’s so badly written. I’ll be contacting trading standards about this tomorrow and I’ve cancelled my DD.

How can they call this a gym!! No one seems to know what is going on. Classes are cancelled on a regular basis but at the last minute and then members are given ridiculous excuses as to why. Sometimes they don't even tell members the class is cancelled and everyone ends up standing around the studio wondering what's happening. Lots of machines and equipment broken and not being fixed. When talking to so called management at the desk or other staff members the standard answer they give is, "it's due to Head Office" or "we'll have to speak to Head Office" but then nothing is done. And apparently this gym is one of Everlast's flagship gym. If that's the case I hate to see what their non flagship gyms are like. Absolute disgrace, members are paying to use the gym and do classes but how can you do that when equipment isn't working and classes are constantly cancelled. And it's obviously not just members they treat like rubbish as staff/instructors never seem to stay for long. Management and Head Office really need to evaluate what is happening here.

Used the gym a while ago (Bristol, patchway, but when it was DW gym) and my gym experience was okay- no major complaints at the time.
My complaint is,.. I’ve moved away like 2 years ago and they won’t stop texting me. I’ve followed every instruction to stop the promotional texts, but they just keep coming! Blocked the number to, and they still come. It’s getting ******* ridiculous!
