No customer care or communication
Communication was so poor it felt as though the holiday was a scam! Failure to respond to emails, failure to provide adequate information, key information provided in German and not put right upon request. no customer care or service.

We are extremely pleased with the service provided by Etihad Holidays. The standard of service was exceptionally high from start to finish. The staff were professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout our journey.
Even when there were changes to our plans, we were contacted in good time and kept fully informed. Every issue was handled quickly, smoothly, and professionally, which gave us great peace of mind.
Thanks to Etihad, we were able to enjoy a wonderful and stress-free holiday. We truly appreciated their attention to detail and the excellent customer service we received.

Abu Dhabi
We had an amazing experience in Abu Dhabi and absolutely loved our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, which was probably the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Abu Dhabi itself was wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
Unfortunately, the flights were the one disappointing part of the trip. Although the Etihad staff on both flights were lovely and very friendly, we were surprised that there was no Bluetooth connectivity available on either flight. We had expected this to be available on a long-haul service and found it disappointing that we couldn’t connect our own headphones.
We were also surprised that no amenity kits were provided on either long-haul flight. Given the length of the journey, we had expected at least a basic kit to be provided.
The headphones supplied on board were also far too large for us and were uncomfortable to use. This made watching films difficult, as the headphones didn’t fit properly and kept moving.
Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and the staff themselves were excellent, but the inflight entertainment and amenities were not what we expected from a long-haul Etihad experience. We hope this feedback is useful, as these are relatively small things that would make a big difference to the overall passenger experience.

The choice we made of destination and hotel for a short break was great.
However feel that the airline seats should be prebooked with the holiday especially as free seats are not available even on 24 hour check in. We were allocated seats on the 3rd last row of the aircraft. Absolutely not satisfactory.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff
Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Room and view was great. I know Abu Dhabi is still growing, but it would have been good to have been advised of building works very close to the hotel with work starting before 8am.

The hotel is fabulous but some of the restaurants were closed or running reduced service .the fruit stand and the noodle bar were not operating at all .
This was not only inconvenient but also we paid quite a bit more than last year when everything was open ,how does that work?
This wasn’t communicated out to us until we had paid in full and therefore couldn’t change
The flight out was brilliant,but unfortunately I left my Bose headphones on the plane ,guess what ,they were never found in the lost properties flight back was terrible,the staff just couldn’t be bothered and did unacceptable things like changing rubbish bags in the aisle and continuing serving food with the same gloves on
Sorry ,but Etihad are not in the same league as emirates

This was our first holiday booked with Etihad and it definitely will not be our last. Everything was perfect from start to finish.
The initial booking via website was so easy and straightforward. The communication leading up to our holiday was exemplary.
Our holiday experience far exceeded our expectations.
The flights , both outbound and inbound were brilliant. Our hotel accommodation was first class. Everything about our experience was amazing.

Equal Treatment - Some updating required
The one airline that I find treats all guest equally irrrespective of cabin class.
I have experience Economy & Business so can report with real experience. However the removal of extra space forward cabin on the A380 was a shame and a Premuim class cabin I am sure would be welcomed.
Some economy seats are now tired with less support.

Overall a disappointing and stressful experience
There was significant lack of communication with the holidays team, and we had to contact them about the most basic things. The airplane tickets were late to be issued, and we had to email twice about it. Transport from airport to hotel was never communicated to us despite us asking, which created significant confusion and stress at the airport(this was despite us asking through multiple emails). We will choose a different provider next time. I do not recommend Etihad holidays, overall a disappointing and stressful experience.

Late pick up for flight home..
I arranged for a pick up at my hotel for the return journey to the airport for 9am.
I asked if this was an issue and was assured it was no problem. At 9.40 on the day of my flight home there was no sign of the pick up vehicle. I then got an uber to the airport and I believe the pick up arrived at 9.45.
Flights were delayed on both Journey’s also.
