Expedia themselves were excellent. However the whole experience was not! When I book and pay extra for a certain seat on the plane, I do not expect people who have not paid that extra amount to just be allowed to swap to the more expensive seats. Transfers from hotel to were very good, on time and comfortable. 1st hotel excellent service, restaurants a bit limited, a lot of stains on the mattress! 2nd hotel was beautiful as was the beach, however although I understand there will be children at the hotel, I do expect some thought for people without children. There was little control over badly behaved children in public areas. Was given incorrect bed allocation in room however this was resolved after paying a further £560! Overall the holiday was enjoyable. Staff excellent with one exception!

The flight times where amazing and both initial and connecting flights where on time and in rushed to meet.
The resort was sensational and the cost was more than reasonable.

Returned to the Rixos Abu Dhabi after a fantastic first stay although it seemed to have lost its spark. The isla bar we enjoyed last visit was closed with the only alternative for a pre/post dinner drink being the antidote, which was fine but freezing and full of smokers. I didn’t like to hang around the buffet restaurant for too long as it was chaos with kids roaming free & a queue for others waiting on tables. The Hashi restaurant was stunning!! Highly recommend, actually on par with Zuma which we paid a small fortune for. One thing which really set the hotel back was a lack of orientation at check in. I had to ask for a list of amenities & restaurants opening times/ cuisine. We often saw pool exercise, heard there was entertainment the previous night etc without knowing any of this was happening. We also saw floating sound bath being set up but were told it was fully booked - I didn’t know how anyone was seeing this on a timetable let alone how to book it. I think more can be done here to make for a wholesome stay, especially when it’s too hot to venture far and when booking all inclusive you expect some activities or entertainment. Etihad holidays in general are also a bit disorganised which I remember from last time - having to request a link to pay for our holiday, requesting information, requesting details about transfers etc. whilst they were extremely quick in responding, it should be automated.

Booking experience was good apart from not being able to use the Autumn offer as it kept saying I’d already used it. Couldn’t contact customer services so went ahead and booked a slightly cheaper room only to get a phone call as soon as we had booked which seemed strange. Very pleased with the transfers that were included and the messages from the rep . Hotels great and location was knows as been there before.

Great value for money holiday, which was exactly as described.

Booked through Etihad Holidays, I had an amazing relaxing few days on Yas Island and Etihad Holidays were great!
Booking was super easy with a great choice of options. Everything went smoothly from landing, meeting the rep through to return. As a solo female traveller the free airport to hotel transfer and vice versa appealed to me and the drivers were lovely. My rep messaged me via WhatsApp offering help with organising any trips etc All in all I had a great experience with Etihad Holidays and would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Easy check in. Great choice of hotels. Ability to purchase extra seats so you have more space would prefer more choice to the meals offered n board

Thoroughly enjiyed

My wife and I booked our entire Maldives holiday as a package through Etihad Holidays, including our Etihad Airways flights from London Heathrow via Abu Dhabi and our stay at Hotel Riu Atoll.

One of the main reasons we chose a package holiday was the peace of mind that comes with having everything arranged together, along with ATOL protection. We wanted a well-organised, relaxing holiday without the complications of booking flights, accommodation and transfers separately.

We had a fantastic time in the Maldives. Hotel Riu Atoll was beautiful, with stunning surroundings, excellent food and exceptionally friendly staff. We also celebrated our wedding anniversary during our stay, and the special room decorations, lovely dinner and anniversary cake were wonderful touches that made the occasion even more memorable.

The most impressive part of our experience with Etihad Holidays was the personal assistance we received at Malé Airport on our return journey. When we arrived on our domestic flight, a representative from Etihad Holidays was waiting for us. She personally guided us to the international check-in area, kindly helped with my wife's luggage and stayed with us throughout the process. Her warmth, professionalism and attention to detail made everything feel so much easier. It was a genuinely thoughtful service that we will remember.

Our return journey via Abu Dhabi went smoothly, and our checked luggage arrived safely at London Heathrow.

There was just one minor disappointment regarding payment rewards. Although we paid for our Etihad Holidays package using an American Express card, the transaction did not qualify for the enhanced Membership Rewards points we had hoped to earn. Clearer information about how package bookings are processed and whether they qualify for additional card rewards would be helpful.

However, this did not take away from what was an excellent holiday. We were very pleased with the overall experience, particularly the personal assistance at Malé Airport, and would happily consider booking with Etihad Holidays again.

Excellent holiday hotel but flight standards need improving

Never used Eithad Holidays before. But they were very organised. Once we had paid all the relevant items were confirmed and details sent to us. Pick from and to the airport was effortless and the free desert safari was a wonderful add on.

We booked our recent trip to stay on both the QE2 & at the Miramar Al Aqah Hotel Resort. Both venues were superb. Service & the hospitality was exceptional & the organisation was faultless. I would have no hesitation of booking with Etihad Holidays again. First Class Service allround.

Had a lovely holiday with no problems at all., everything went perfectly.

All plans made through Etihad holidays were perfect in all aspects from booking through to flights transfers and return. The Westin hotel is outstanding super. We would use again without question.
