Having had a model 30 I upgraded to a model 50 as I needed the extra speed. All was fine until I had a rear tyre flat. This is a real problem with these bikes, no tyre company or motor bike company will touch Chinese electric bikes So I had to do it myself. Fortunately I am retired and have time, Getting the rear wheel off is pretty standard but then you have to disconnect the cable. Fortunately I had the Chinese factory email address and was able to get advice on how to do it. Support from eriderBikes was very slow, maybe due to COVID restrictions. I took the wheel to a local motorbike shop who did repair it but reconnecting the wiring was also a challenge due to Chinese wiring conventions. Fortunately the Chinese factory responded to my emails with advice. It says something when no local bike company will help with repairs.

Ordered the model 18, in principal a cracking little bike.
Around 250km on the clock there was a clunking sound and the pedals automatically locked in and started spinning, yeah this was at 15mph but then the instant response of the bike then was to speed up, easily could have caused an accident.
With the pedals locked somehow direct to the real wheel the bike was not useable, so the first port of call was to ring for advice. "We'll get back to you asap", the call never came - so I had to pay for recovery.
I need something reliable, so I returned the bike.
These clowns make you pay for returning damaged items, which goes directly against the consumer rights act - but they don't seem to need to follow this it seems.
So the bike was refunded but £80 down, all in all a poor experience. Tried to call them to discuss, "we'll get someone to ring you asap"..... never happened.
Avoid.

Happily getting around, just remember that you are not noisy at all so people don't always hear you!!
Easy to use, to re-charge and handle.

I got the model 18 and absolutely love it. Admittedly I did have a couple of problems in the first month with it but as soon as I contacted e-rider they arranged to come look at it (which they did within 48hrs) then took it away to repair it and brought it back the next day so the after care in my opinion is first rate.

The 1800 electric bicycle disappointed me. I was told by the person who brought it for me to trial that the pedals were not meant to be used except when the battery ran out. The motor would not take me up the medium hill on which I live without pedal assistance. Pedalling was extremely difficult, my knees being up to my shoulders, almost impossibku at my age. The weight of the bike made it very hard to control and manoeuvre when pedalling uphill from the start.
This bike is probably fine for use in a city without hills, but completely unusable in a small town in a hilly district.

Like this company have just ordered my new bike still to receive it, had checked other dealers but E- Rider is the one i trusted with there service. Ken was very helpful called him a couple of times and answered all my enquirers. Thank you.

excellent service. it even arrived a day early after asking could i except it. the ebike is great it has knocked an hour and a quarter of my travelling time to work and what i save on bus fares it will pay for itself.

I have had an E-Rider 30 for over 3 years. The original SLA batteries came to the end of their life. I ordered and received a replacement Li-Ion battery (60v) and with minimal effort was able to adapt the bike. Works a treat. Thanks Ken for the cautionary email re conversion, but the battery compartment will take the new battery and only needed minor tweak to ensure held securely.

E-Rider are a Fantastic Company to deal with - nothing seems too much trouble. I changed my mind over my choice of Electric Scooter, and chose something more expensive, and paid for it. They suddenly found that they could no longer supply me that particular model, and redirected me to some-one else who could & informed me by e-mail and mobile phone. I phoned them back, as I could not take their call, as I was out shopping with my wife - but they apologised profusely, and on checking my Bank Balance, they had already refunded ALL of the money I had sent them. Very Old Fashioned service which is almost unheard of these days. On a further phone call to them, we discussed my previous 1st Choice and my reason for changing - I wanted something more powerful - and they informed me that a more powerful version was going to become available in the U.K. in the Spring. As I am only a Fair Weather rider, I had no hesitation in transferring a holding deposit to them for one of these !! Because of the way I have been treated, I truly believe that their Free Returns Policy that they advertise if something was not suitable, would be fully implemented, if informed within their 14 day period !!

My enquiry late last year was blanked, but they've now responded to my follow-up very well indeed.
Happy to rate them much more highly today, the bike is great, and has been from the 'off'!

Would give a 5 but had miner Mark's on it as in paint Mark's had were on it but guessing that's not from erider it self that would be from the people that made these (China) and it had a foot print were the cover is on the battery is and had Chinese symbols were the size off the choose is apart from that erider is a fabulous place to get electric bikes from thanks mario

I have owned my e15 for approx two and a half years and have enjoyed it since day one. The speed produced by effortless pedalling is exhilerating and the machine copes with a range of surfaces though it is primarily a bike for the tarmac! It also deals well with hills and there are some awesome ones on the edge of exmoor where i live. But the bike remains undefeated. Its also a safe well balanced ride. I took advantage of ERiders lease deal which i havent found available anywhere else. Ive needed a couple of spare parts, nothing major but ken and the team have been very helpful in that regard. I would recommend the product and the company.

The charging socket at the front of the "bike" did not work. It was disconnected at the plastic clip. I had to lift the battery and battery holder to access the wires and connect them. Pre-delivery inspection(?) Also, the battery autonomy is not that great and certainly is not good for 30 miles let alone 40 miles. I do not get more that 25 miles per charge.
For what it is and how it performs, it is expensive at £1,600 i paid for.

Awful, couldn’t care less after they take your money.

Spot on. Done a great deal of research into an electic bike and the erider 18 in my opinion ticks all the boxes. Pedalling gets you up to 25mph which is more than enough to keep up with town traffic. The seat is the moped type so really nice and comfy. Another bonus is the lights, no messing about loking for batteries. Mine is used for a 14 mile round trip commute so it is put onto charge each night and as yet the battery indicator has not gone below 3 bars
