Very confusing process
I made the reservation three days ago. The answer didn’t write me back at all, I received a confirmation of payment but that’s it. My friend who made a reservation at the same time and for the same apartment (another room) got another completely different email telling her that she would have to pay the rent in euros and that the price was not the one on the website (so, not the one I paid). Why do we have different informations ? Why is the landlord not answering ?

The booking experience could have been smoother, we got rejected by two other landlords for seemingly no reason and that was a bit frustrating but ultimately the site was a big help in finding the right apartment

Ho richiesto di prenotare un monolocale a Wroclaw, il proprietario ha accettato la mia richiesta (o almeno così pare visto che mi sono stati prelevati 512 euro).
Una volta contatto direttamente il proprietario mi ha comunicato che non risulta nessuna prenotazione a mio nome. Da circa 3 settimane sto contattando la piattaforma senza che loro sappiano minimamente risolvere il problema, restituendomi i soldi o confermando che la prenotazione esiste.
La mia partenza è fissata il primo settembre e al momento ho speso più di 500 euro per un servizio inesistente!

I really looked for a long time for an apartment in milan, I was looking for a good price and a good location, everything was right and I found a perfect option.
When I contacted the owner of the apartment she said that the total to pay monthly was 490 euros, I was very confused because in erasmusu the price was 390 euros. The website should specify that the total amount to pay monthly is 490 and not 390 because it's frustrating that I thought I found the perfect option but reality is it wasn't. The 100 euros for cleaning should not be mandatory and be optional to the residents. It would have been a game changer for my decision.
You should specify that kind of details.

Small assistance time
It's all fine but they could have more time to assist us. I had some problems with a booking and payment and had to wait from 7 pm to 10 am because they closed very early and didn't open till ten.

Il me semble que la plupart des appartements mis en ligne sur ce site frauduleux sont des offres d'appel, c'es-à-dire que les appartements sont en réalité déjà loués. Vous louez un appartement qui n'est pas disponible. Et il est difficile de récupérer son argent par la suite.
J'ai réservé un appartement à Prague à partir de septembre. Comme par hasard, il n'est pas disponible et la seule offre de l'équipe d'erasmusu c'est un appartement disponible à partir de début décembre. Et en attendant, j'ai mon argent dehors. Heureusement, j'avais flairé l'arnaque et j'ai fait opposition à ma carte de crédit.
Vous pouvez toujours essayer de vous faire de l'argent sur l'angoisse des étudiants internationaux : ça ne marche pas avec moi !
En bref : fuyez !

Website easy to use, refused reservation and contract
The website is very clear and simple to use.
One problem that I had, it's that we can't commmunicate with the owner before they accepted the reservation, while it can be really usefull to have more details befor making a reservation. And about a reservation, I think that it's bad to don't have any idea about the reason why owner refuse a reservation. Because sometimes, I think that we can make an arrangement, according to the problem.
To finish, I was wondering if the mail we receive after the reservation is accepted, act as a contract.

I felt safe until I had a problem
I have felt very safe using Erasmusu to find a household for my erasmus trip.
The pros :
the landlords has 24h to answer at your rent proposal
you have 24h to say when you arrives if the place looks like in internet. If not, you contact the hotline and they give your money back or pay you an hotel
You always have a chat in the website
It is very clear to see where the place is and what is charged etc
The cons : we can't contact the landlords before having paid and received the acceptation to rent the place
UPDATE :
When you have a problem, you can’t find a working phone number or a hotline to be helped. Neither in the website nor In all the internet.
It’s very against the law because in all the emails and the website, they emphasise and lie about the fact they have a phone number.
They are the one who send you an email when you landlord cancelled your reservation and then they don’t answer after an eternity.
But if you are the one that need to contact them, I wish you luck because you will not find an email adresse or a phone number which are working.
Finally I had a refund but I firmly believed that it was because I threatened them to go to the police.
