They've totally abandoned any commitment to their products

I bought a pair of headphones (H3 Hybrid Headset) from EPOS Audio in February 2023. These headphones have a 24-month manufacturers warranty. Within 6 weeks of using that product, a defect caused the product to malfunction, and shortly thereafter (March 29, 2023) I made a replacement request with EPOS Audio. After 6 months of working with the company, I was able to get the product replaced (September 15, 2023). After six months of using the replacement headset, it ended up having the same defect as the original product. I've reached out to that company again on March 27, 2024, but they wouldn't field the request online or by phone since they've shut down the "Gaming" division of their company. I filled out the only form that was available on their website for my case on March 27, 2024, but my only communication from them in response (on July 29, 2024) was a stock email directing me to the same form that I had filled out originally. I emailed them back, but have not received any other communication from them.

Update: After I wrote this review and submitted a complaint to the FTC, I created another ticket with their support team letting them know as much. I've been in contact with them and they've started to process a replacement order.

Update 2: I've received a replacement set.

Dect-Headsets verlieren Verbindung zu Computern

Wir betreiben Dect-Headsets am Computer (für Teams) und am Telefon seit Jahren. Urplötzlich haben sich die Headsets vom Computer verabschiedet und verlieren ständig die Verbindung zum den jeweiligen Comuter, sind also nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Der Support meldet sich nicht mehr. Wir haben keine Lust mehr, wechsen zu anderer Marke. Was ich nicht verstehe: Wie kann man sich als Unternehmen nur selbst so abschießen? Nur wegen ein bisschen Support? Ist es so leicht neue Kunden zufinden, dass man auf die bisherigen verzichten kann?

Title: EPOS's Shocking Decline in Customer Service and Warranty Support

I have been a loyal EPOS customer for years and have always received prompt and effective customer service. However, their service has dramatically declined in 2024. I received my last EPOS H3PRO Hybrid PS5 headset with 2-year warranty directly from their warehouse in Germany. After one year of carefully using this headset it developed a mic noise issue, which is within the warranty period.

I have been trying tirelessly for two months to get in touch with EPOS regarding my warranty claim. Despite numerous emails and messages through their website, I only received one generic seems like AI reply instructing me to contact my local EPOS service partner. Strangely enough, their warranty claim page does not provide any clear instructions on how to proceed with the claim. It simply says to search their website for a local service partner, which requires a manual navigating to a totally different page on their confusing website. It means they have no warranty claim procedure in place. It all disorganised.

I contacted Xgeneration Ltd in the UK, who tried to reach out to EPOS on my behalf but received no response. Xgeneration Ltd then advised me to contact the EPOS German office directly because my headset was shipped from there. Despite multiple attempts, I have not received any reply from EPOS.

EPOS's refusal to address a clear warranty issue is unacceptable. German punctuality does not exist anymore. If this continues, I will have no choice but to file a money claim against them Internationally and seek £500 per hour for the time they have wasted. If EPOS sell their product into UK they must comply with UK laws.

EPOS sell premium price products, where the customer services should be of the same level, but it is not. EPOS, get your act together and start treating your customers with the respect and service they deserve. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating.

Great product but the worst customerservice ever!

I recently had a really frustrating experience with EPOS's customer support. I've had my H6Pro headset for a few months when the cable suddenly broke. The headset itself is great, but I was pretty disappointed that the cable broke so quickly.

I tried to buy a replacement from two different Danish stores, but both were out of stock. Fair enough. Then I checked the EPOS website, and the cable was sold out there too.

When I contacted their support team for help, their response was disappointing and unhelpful. The only response I've gotten is a automatic sent email which just pointed me to their online knowledge base and warranty claim process, which didn't solve my problem. Even after sending multiple follow-up emails explaining that the cable was unavailable, I didn't get any practical solution or further assistance.

It's really frustrating that a simple replacement cable is so hard to get, and the lack of support from EPOS has left me very dissatisfied.

Der schlechteste Kundenservice jemals

Der schlechteste Kundenservice jemals. Ob bei der Hotline wirklich jemand arbeitet? Man weiß es nicht. Probiere seit Tagen diese Firma zu erreichen. Bei Fragen per Mail werden nur irgendwelche verweise auf die Internetseite geschickt. Alter ich hab ein Headset für über 300 Euro von eurer Firma hier liegen, welches sich nach 25 Monaten beginnt aufzulösen.

My customer service representative Ishaan Dube was soooo awesome. He even remembered me and took time with me (and I have ADHD LOL). This is our first experience with retail and epos systems and as I mentioned - they helped all the way. He called me to make sure we were ok and if we needed more training. I cant tell you how I appreciate his awesome customer service. It's rare these days

No longer supported.

No longer supported.
Headset completely turns off if there was no sound for a few seconds.
Dongle barely connects, have to reconnect every time you turn it back on.
Very expensive.

Do not buy EPOS products unless you like ewaste

I WILL NVER BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM EPOS.

6 months ago, I purchased 5 headphones, out of 2 stopped working after 1-2 months I purchased which were in warranty, I sent to the address , after 3 months only one was replaced. very poor service. I WILL NVER BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM EPOS.

Audio is to low

Audio is to low. Even with focusrite amplifire its to low. Its crap and not worth a cent. Stay away from this crap brand. Had them for a year and looking forward to changing them out.

Bought the gsx 300

Bought the gsx 300, it died after having issues in a month, they replaced it and that one died in a month they will continue to attempt a “warranty” till they run out of product since they are “winding down” there gaming portion of the company, they will not refund me they will not send me a reliable product, Epos is a trash company hiding behind policy to protect them against releasing garbage products, support responses take days to weeks, DO NOT BUY OR SUPPORT THIS COMPANY

Don't ever buy EPOS Products

If I could rate them a 0, I would.
I have been waiting a month for EPOS to honour their warranty.

I submitted a ticket on the 23rd of October, and an agent responded a couple of times and then went silent on the 10th of November.

I called EPOS support on the 23rd of November, and they advised my headset would be replaced under warranty and an agent would contact me within 2 business days to confirm my details.

As of the 4th of December, I have still not heard back. Looks like the next steps will be to contact Fair Trade and lodge a complaint.

This is the worst customer services I have experienced, and Im almost glad they are shutting down EPOS gaming considering how they treat their customers.

Give up quality for wireless?

Now the Software doesn't even change my Voice Gate or my heights etc soundwise. This headset is getting worse with every day that goes by... Thinking about switching back!

I'm very disappointed how much quality I had to give up, whilst switching from the GSP 550 to the GSP 670 Wireless. Do I really have to give up all that quality for the bluetooth feature alone? Besides that, the software is a living hell. The auto standby is not working as intendet and only lengthens the Lifespan of the Battery by about an hour. - been in use for 2 months now.

The headset also does not live up to the advertised 20 hours of battery life. At least not 20 hours whilst getting used in between. Charging it is also very bad compared to their competitors - you really have to play around to get it into the plug.

À éviter, plus jamais!

Je me permets de vous relater mon expérience avec vos produits. Il y a quelque temps, j'ai fait l'acquisition d'un casque GSP550. Malheureusement, ce modèle était défectueux. Heureusement, votre équipe a réagi promptement et a procédé à un échange, me fournissant un ensemble similaire, composé du GSP 500 et du GSX 300.
Cependant, après quelques mois d'utilisation, les mêmes problèmes sont réapparus, notamment des parasites sonores et des interruptions du GSX 300. J'ai contacté votre service après-vente et, malheureusement, j'ai dû envoyer plusieurs rappels avant d'obtenir une réponse, ce qui a pris 10 à 15 jours.
Finalement, vous m'avez offert un nouvel échange, cette fois-ci pour un modèle supérieur, le H6 Pro accompagné du GSX 300, en guise de geste commercial. J'étais optimiste quant à ce changement, pensant que je ne rencontrerais plus de problèmes. Cependant, après quelques mois, les mêmes dysfonctionnements sont réapparus. Il est important de noter que ces problèmes se sont manifestés sur deux ordinateurs différents, le logiciels Epos était à jour, de même que les ordinateurs eux-mêmes.
De façon inattendue, le GSX 300 a cessé de fonctionner du jour au lendemain. J'ai immédiatement contacté votre support, mais j'ai été informé que la garantie s'appuyait sur la date d'achat initiale du premier casque, ce qui signifie que le nouveau casque reçu n'était pas couvert. Je suis profondément déçu par cette situation, car je suis convaincu qu'il s'agit d'un défaut de série, et je me sens lésé par cette situation.
La réponse de votre équipe, indiquant qu'il n'y avait rien de plus à faire, est particulièrement frustrante. J'ai investi 200 euros dans un produit de votre marque, mais malheureusement, il semble que ce casque soit désormais inutilisable, malgré ses qualités sonores que j'appréciais.
Face à ces circonstances, il ne me reste plus qu'à envisager un changement de marque pour mes futurs besoins audio et à partager mon expérience avec ma communauté de joueurs, dans l'espoir d'éviter que d'autres ne rencontrent les mêmes problèmes.

CASQUE GSP 670 Problème de son

Casque EPOS GSP 670 les coussins de sont déchirer mais ça encore c'est pas grave MAS PAR CONTRE le son du casque ce coupe a chaque fois que j'allume le PC je me retrouve donc obliger a utiliser la molette en le baissant a fond et en le remontant mais ce problème bloque les applications qui nécessite du son, bref je recommande absolument ce casque qui en plus coute extrêmement chers.

Das Leben könnte so schön sein

Das man die Leute auch Samstags 8 Stunden arbeiten läßt unmöglich. Die sollen auch mal den Leuten den Stundenlohn erhöhen die Konkurrenz kann es ja auch (auf 14 Euro) und nicht mit ihren Provisionen kann man 14 Euro erzielen, Stundenlohn 14 Euro plus die provi. Ihr solltet auch mal E Mail Bearbeitung machen, die meinste Menschen haben keine Lust mit fremden zu telefonieren oder trauen sich nicht aber schreiben kann jeder. Da gibt es für alles Bausteine aber das kennt Ihr glaube ich. Eine extra Abteilung für die E Mail Bearbeitung mit anständigen Stundenlohn, die e Mail Bearbeitung bekommt natürlich auch eine provi. Sagen wir mal 15 Mail in der Stunden kommen paar Cent dazu und es geht bis 33 Mails (wir hatten für 34mail in der Std 3,33 Euro bekommen) on top Auf den Stundenlohn. Von 15 bis 33 Mails für 15 Mails in der Std waren es nur paar Cents, um so mehr Mails in der Std um so höher die provi...Wenn ihr e Mail Bearbeitung macht (in Castrop oder so) könnte ich mir vorstellen noch mal ein 5 mal zurück zu kommen😊

+ Design, longueur de fil, solide, qualité micro
- nécessite une carte son externe pour le 7.1, devient vite douloureux trop petit et les réglages ne se sentent pas, il ne se met pas en place naturellement, molette ultra raide au point qu'elle est inutile face à un vieux gsp350, et comme d'habitude les mousses ne sont plus disponible

Broke after six months but eventually replaced

EPOS H3PRO Hybrid GreenH3PRO

The audio quality is great, but the casing was cracking every time I placed it on my head and the whole ear snapped off after less than six months making them useless.

I was initially told by customer support that this was my fault and it wouldn't be fixed or replaced, but EPOS global support got back to me saying they had made a mistake and replaced the device in a matter of days. Thanks to Heta Nyrhinen for expediting this and giving regular updates.

GSP670 den værste oplevelse

GSP670 det værste møg, aldrig haft så mange problemer med et headset konflikt i windows, ud af det blå gider det ikke connect og så sider man der uden lyd. havde gammelt headset fra dem der virkede fint så tænkte det mærke holder jeg mig til men hold nu op det kan de ikkeleve op til. Så med mindre du elsker at bruge timer på at få et headset til at give lyd engang imellem, så find alternativ
