Does this company actually still exist? The last review was over six months ago, all of their laptops are out of stock and they don't respond to emails!
Having said that, the Linux laptop I bought from them a couple of years ago has been great, so it's disappointing that I can't get another.

Great hardware and excellent support.
I went with Entroware because I'm new to Linux and wanted to have someone I could call if there was something that I couldn't work out. I've had the machine for ~6 months now and have reached out to them twice to help me work out software things and each time they've responded quickly and helped me to resolve my issue. They really made my transition to Linux easier.

I received a helpful email within minutes of my enquiry. I received another helpful email within minutes of my follow-up query. The person dealing with my case was sympathetic and constructive, and was able to provide me with the information I needed. I really could not have asked for better support.

I am not a great Linux expert-my previous experience was installing Ubuntu on an old windows pc- but when that died and I had some funds in my possession I decided to invest in a desk top and a laptop running Ubuntu. So I bought a Poseidon desktop and Proteus lap top. Ordering was straightforward and easy, delivery notifications were prompt and accurate and everything came beautifully packaged. Set up out of the box was completely straightforward and I had both machines up and running very quickly. I appreciate that Ubuntu is losing favour with some Linux users, and the reasons why, but its working great for me and I will never touch Windows again if I can avoid it. Maybe in the future I will look at other Linux distros but I am extremely happy with the way these machines are performing-quietly no fuss or drama -extremely slick and I hope my review reflects this.

The new computer is first class and was significantly cheaper than the competition.

The service around the sale was good too. Delivery was complicated by my not being at home, but Entroware were careful to ensure that the machine arrived during the narrow window when I was able to take delivery.

I'm now looking for an excuse to replace my main computer.

I purchased a Kratos laptop from Entroware four and a half years ago. Recently I had a tricky issue with the NVIDIA GPU I bought with the laptop. I spent a lot of time looking for solutions on NVIDIA support and AskUbuntu, but all to no avail

Then I decided to reach out to Entroware support. Within 24 hours they had fully resolved my issue. The clarity of communication, and level of responsiveness, expertise and cordiality was outstanding. It is the best customer care I've ever experienced. Thanks to Entroware, my GPU issue is sorted!

Absolutely first class experience of buying from Entroware.
I chose the Poseidon desktop (i7, 32gb, 2TB), and couldn't be happier. Fast build time and a good value product.
Set up took just a couple of minutes, and the case is sleek and robust.
I'd got to know Ubuntu from an install on an old laptop - and that really helped when coming to install the apps I wanted.
Hugely impressed with the service.

Networking stopped after a laptop sleep. I had a response to my ticket (which had to be raised on my Android) within 5 minutes, with clear suggested actions. The issue was down to a broken kernel update via Synaptic. Everything is now back up and running normally. I was impressed with the quick response at every stage, immediate understanding of the issue, clear guidance on how to diagnose, clear instructions on a fix, and good advice.

I sent a message using the online contact form. There has been no receipt confirmation and no response either. I am just glad I have experienced this prior to any purchase. If Entroware does not put the effort fora sale, then I doubt I can expect much from after-sales.

Hi all Linux PC lovers ! I purchased a powerful Poseidon PC (128GB RAM, i9 top of the range processor, 8TB SSD drives in all, etc.)
The Poseidon is so very well built ....its a VERY SOLID AND exceptional machine in my opinion. I have Had it 4 months now and the odd niggle (on software apps not on the actual PC) were professionally and promptly sorted out by the excellent and knowledgeable support team at Entroware.
Gold stars all round from me !
My next LINUX PC will definitely be another Entroware variant, and i am hoping for a HADES next time round.

Purchased a high-end laptop from Entroware almost two years ago (that in itself was very positive experience) and recently I've slightly damaged the casing. Contacted Entroware and they promptly provided me with a quotation, and then fixed my laptop, turning it around in a week. Given that they had to source out-of-stock part I was really impressed, not to mention that they keep me updated throughout. They charged a very sensible amount of money for the repair and overall I am extremely pleased with the service provided.

My next laptop is definitely going to be Entroware !

Recently purchased a Proteus laptop with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Delivery was sooner than expected and the computer seems well built and meets performance expectations.
Having previously only installed Linux on computers as a replacement for an existing Widows installation it is a joy to find everything working 'out of the box'.
The one simple support query I had was answered by return.
A slight criticism would be that pre-purchase enquiries were slower and there are few up to date reviews of Entroware equipment online, but now I feel I could buy from them again with confidence.

Entroware is one of only two UK manufacturers which sells laptops with Ubuntu as stock. (At-least this was the case last time I checked.) I bought my first one, an Apollo, second-hand three years ago now (couldn't afford a new one as a student), and still received excellent customer service when asking about installing a second SSD (I was told that yes, my model has space for a second SSD, and also exactly what spec SSD I would need). That laptop has taken me all the way through university, taking heavy beatings like a champ. Admittedly the battery has always been bad, but I'm hoping they've had time to fix that issue now. I'm planning to buy my next laptop from Entroware when it's time for a spec upgrade.

I purchased the 15" Zeus laptop roughly six months ago, it is by far the best laptop I have ever owned, it was built and dispatched very quickly and arrived in 2 days. I have been running deep learning jobs and real time audio processing for months and the speed is very impressive. It has definitely solved my dilemma of should I buy another MacBook Pro, as I couldn't find an alternative natively Linux laptop before. I am very glad I found Entroware. I definitely recommend it!

I bought a "Posseidon" desktop from Entroware about two years ago. It is a fantastic piece of equipment, great value for money & I love linux. Though currently switching from Ubuntu to Fedora to be nearer modern evolutions such as policykit.

They have ignored both emails I sent them simply asking what specification of laptop I should order from them. In addition there is no phone number available so no other means of contacting them. Clearly not interested in me as a potential customer so I will have to go elsewhere to purchase our laptops.

Sent laptop in for repairs after about 18 months of use.
Entroware were very helpful, ordered parts and replaced them. Promptly sent back my laptop and it's better than ever

Solid, good value high performance laptops

The order process was extended but as this was bought as a back up biz machine not critical as such its fine, it was a low spec and priced £300 odd but I'm surprised at how poor it is, support is minimal and response best described as snotty.
Looking at other comments it appears I'm lucky as everything has worked, not normal for linux so in that respect 5 stars.
re linux if you're a geek and enjoy "secret codes" over complicated nonsense fine if not don't bother.
As a basic back up its fine, their service is so so, as is the product, but in the market it looks as good as you can get.
With a tiny bit of effort they could be fine, that also applies to linux, but they prefer it this way.
