Got antique brass finish pendants, look really good, easy to fit, only downside was one of the grub screws that holds the flex in place was stuck, just made it tricky to alter the flex length. Apart from that a nice piece.

Since writing my review yesterday, I received a call from Bill, a manager at Energy Light Bulbs. Bill explained that the bulbs had the wrong date on because of a misprint by the manufacturers in China and he thanked me for bringing this to their attention. He apologised for the inconvenience and he sent me the two bulbs back which I had returned to them. Apparently these are new bulbs made in 2025 and not 2015!

I have changed my rating from one star * to four stars **** because the customer service yesterday was excellent. Bill was courteous and he understood how I felt about the situation. So all is well and I will have no hesitation now in ordering from Energy Light Bulbs again thanks to Bill!!

I placed my order for two 7W LED GX53 Light Bulbs in Cool White, on 8.6.26. The bulbs are made by Long Life Lamp Company, who have the same address and the same directors as Energy Light Bulbs. I have been buying these bulbs for ten years from both companies to fit under my kitchen cabinets. But the last three years I have been disappointed in the bulbs because they don’t last as long so I started reading the dates on the back of the bulbs and realised that some of the bulbs were very old, so this time I emailed Energy Light Bulbs before I placed my order. I asked one question, what date will be on the bulbs? but I got no reply, I needed the bulbs so I ordered them anyway. When they arrived the date on them was 26.12.15. The bulbs were over 10 years old and they were not only out of date but they were discoloured and they were the previous model, they were thick and chunky nothing like the newer, slim, brilliant white version.
I emailed EnergyLightBulbs several times with my complaint and I sent them photographs of the bulbs they sent me and another photograph of the bulbs they were intended to replace. I wish I could attach these photos with this review and you will see what I mean. It was obvious that the bulbs I had paid for were old stock and that they wouldn’t have lasted very long as they were well out of date. Energy Light Bulbs denied this so, at their request, I returned the bulbs to them so that they could replace them with a newer more modern version of the bulbs which would match the bulbs I had in my kitchen which were also bought from them.
Energy Light Bulbs sent me a refund which wasn’t what I wanted or needed. I need two replacement light bulbs, the newer version, with a more recent date on. I don’t think that is too much to ask.
My tip to everyone is : ALWAYS LOOK ON THE REVERSE OF THE BULB AND CHECK THE DATE!! Or you could find someone else to buy the bulbs from.

Fantastic service provided. I phoned at short noticed and managed to get my order delivered the next day. The item is lovely and looks perfect in my kitchen.

Right products, reasonable delivery times, competitive prices - we have some usual light fittings and it was impossible to find what we needed in-store, and even on Amazon (although I'd rather avoid them anyway). Website was easy to navigate, everything labelled clearly, no difficulty in finding and ordering. Packaged well - not wasteful but well enough to prevent damage.

The delivery firm...DHL let the delivery down badly!! As a last resort I phoned direct to Energylightbulbs for help to find my order and get it to me!!!

Raj picked up the problem and stayed with it until she was certain I'd recieved my order..... phoning me back when she said she would... above and beyond! This type of service is very rare these days!!!! Unfortunately 😔 thanks Raj🙏

I ordered a light fitting from energy light bulbs, but the electrician found a fault. I rang them to report it, and was helped by a lovely person by the name of Raj, who immediately sorted a replacement part. Brilliant company and I would not hesitate to recommend them

Rubbish company. Best avoided.
Poor products and equally poor customer service.
First, the product.

An LED strip light FB1. Basically a strip light you might use under a cabinet or above a work area.
No instructions included. Not good. No safety information. Not good.
Box includes a packet of screws and wall plugs and two metal clips to fix it to a surface.
Unfortunately, the supplied clips were different sizes so didn't fit the lamp.
Secondly, there's a short length of cable, but nowhere to route the cable out of the lamp.
So if you fix it to a wall, you can't connect power to it unless you cut a hole in the lamp or squash the cable.
Basically, it's a piece of junk, and potentially unsafe.

When you contact them as I did over a week ago, you hear nothing.
Maybe the contact email that starts with "orders" and not "customer service", is a clue.
They like your order and money, but not much else.
So, company of the year 2026, NULL POINTS.

Also, watch out for anything labelled Long Life Lamp Company.

Thank you for the replacement.
Unfortunately, it drew my attention to yet another fault on the original item, namely missing screws securing one of the end caps.
There should be four screws fitted, two at each end. The original only had one endcap secure.
If the endcap came off, it could expose the user to dangerous voltages.
Another quality control failure.

The company reached out soon after I placed my order and the delivery took place very smoothly. The quality of the lamp seems very good. My electrician said that the connectors were very fiddly but that this was the case with most new lamp fittings. The length was generous and it looks lovey when switched on.
