The floodlight tube purchased was too…
The floodlight tube purchased was too short therefore would not make contact with the electric contacts. The tube was advertised at 78mm when in fact it only measured 77.6mm.
It is uneconomical to make the effort and return the tube.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. The J78 halogen bulb you a referring to is known as 78mm and it is standard. The slight off measurement you are indicating can be normal. We have been selling the same product for over 15 years and have had no such complaint. You could try looking at your floodlight lamp holder fitting as it can have expanded over time. In a normal situation the bulb should fit. We have offered you a full refund for £2.20 and have responded to you. We feel this an unreasonable review.
