Very good quality.

Rien à redire sur le produit, il rend une image d' excellente qualité. Par contre la notice n'est pas explicite et les vidéos qui pourraient aider au montage ne correspondent pas à ce modèle.

Projector screen arrived well packaged with clear instructions for several different mounting options and the screen was in perfect condition. Couldn't have asked for a smoother experience.

Qualität nicht so gut wie das zuvor getestete Testexemplar, was deutlich sichtbar ist beim draufhalten. Aus bestimmten Winkeln leichte Streifen zusehen. Der Rahmen ist nicht so wie überall in Reviews zu sehen ist.

The good, the bad and the ugly

The good
If you are in the market for a 180-inch non-motorized floor riser-up projection screen, then look no further: the Elite Screens QuickStand 5-Second Series 180" is your only choice, at a very reasonable price. For a home cinema setup, you will need a living or dedicated room of eight by five meters. The screen comes in a rugged, heavy, yet elegant 430 by 25 centimeter box, with wheels on one end and a very solid handle on the other, allowing one to position the screen at will even if you are not Arnold Schwarzenegger. Raising the screen is easy, preferably two people, and even if you stop at where the dark portion starts appearing, you still get a very significant 4 by 2.2 meter viewing area. Good 4K material viewed from between a 7 and 8-meter distance looks fabulous.

The bad
My wife and I raised the screen with much anticipation, only to freeze in disbelief at around the first fifty centimeters out of the crate: an ugly, black stain the size of a coin suddenly appeared on the upper left corner of the white screen material. We tried to blow it away, only to quickly realize that this was no dirt, but hard, dark, sand-like plastic speckles, solidly encrusted within the screen fabric. This was obviously a manufacturing defect, whereby molten plastic from somewhere had made its way onto the screen surface and had dried there. There is absolutely no way to remove the culprit with any hot, cold, wet, dry, solid, smooth, sharp, dumb or whatever other implement without running the risk of tearing the screen surface and seeing the stain turn into a hole.

The ugly
Upon informing Elite of the problem, we received an e-mail with their deep regrets and a PDF attachment with the company's official cleansing guide: water, soap, a smooth piece of cloth, rub in concentric circles... I shall stop there.

I do not deliver bad feedback lightheartedly, but in this particular case, I have no alternative, all positive aspects notwithstanding. There is a very simple, specific reason why I buy a lot in Germany: I trust German quality and customer service. That such a defect has gone through Elite's supposedly existing quality control is beyond belief as far as I am concerned.

So here we are: a sad end to what should have been a beautiful story. There is no way I can repack and send back this 80-kilogram behemoth, so in all likelihood we shall have to live with THE STAIN. It tears my heart to give Elite the worst possible rating, but I do it in the hope that it will stick out on the company's track record like the stain on the screen they sent me without prior checking, to remind them of the importance of quality control in the future.

There were problems with shipping, but customer service did their best to fix it.

El 8 de junio hize un pedido de una Saker Tab Tension de 135" y su pago. Al día siguiente de realizado el pago me dijeron que no encontraban la justificación del mismo en su sistema. Tuve que enviar un documento de mi banco que lo acreditara, pese a no ser culpa mia, como reconocía Elite en su correo. Este fallo de Elite demoro la salida del producto cuatro días, ya que coincidió en fin de semana. Hoy hace 13 días y aun no he recibido la pantalla pese a que en la web publicitan entrega en 2-3 dias... aunque entiendo que hay tambien responsabilidad del transportista DHL.
