I purchased a Haygain Steamer
I purchased a Haygain Steamer, and the owners of Elite Saddlery, Angie and Russell, were absolutely amazing. Since never having purchased a hay steamer before, I had many questions. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were always available to answer additional questions prior to me purchasing the Haygain. They went out of their way to help me, even shopping for a timer that I needed. They were truly amazing and patient.
Angie's husband, Russell, delivered the Haygain after a long drive to my location. He was absolutely amazing, answering more questions I had on his arrival, and he was so very patient. He spent time with me making sure I understood everything I needed to know about the Haygain before leaving for the long drive back.
I have since had to contact them for some follow up queries, and they have been marvelous. Always getting a quick response and answer.
I would highly recommend Elite Saddlery for their excellent customer service that goes above and beyond any other.

I'm sorry if anything made you think the postage was excessive, as mostly we charge exactly what the Post Office / Courier charge us, and often we charge less than we know we are going to be charged ( for example our small courier bags ) as we have to set a figure so the website can work at all but in reality the courier charges more than the quoted figure.
I know this can appear quite a lot for a small item, but the courier doesn't work by actual size/weight but by if it fits in a certain size bag and is under a certain weight limit, and so it could be one earring or a boot - if it fits in the bag and is under one kilo then the charge is always the same.
I do hope that explains it a little and you can see what we are up against with postage - even we get frustrated sometimes...

Seems to be two different types of metal so colours distorted from photo.

I'm so sorry that this rocking horse bit isn't exactly as per the example photograph, it can be very tricky to capture the colours exactly. They have been a best seller in all sizes and I'm afraid we don't have another left here at present to be able to offer you an exchange, however if you are still at all unsatisfied and cannot live with it once it is in the rocking horses mouth then please do return it for a full refund (including of course your postage costs) as we want you to be happy.

Excellent company
Excellent company - always there for any future issues that may arise. I brought the haygain steamer in the past from them and now the neqv hay boiler as an add on. I wanted a boiler that had the additional safety feature of turning off automatically, was easier to fill and that didn’t need descaling . The longer cable is also very useful. Without steaming my hay my horses coughs badly - she not only allergic to dust but also mold spores so soaking hay didn’t work. Her breathing is now so clear, she’s much less itchy and we haven’t needed the vet investigations and meds that was initially suggested, as she improved so much after commencing with hay steaming. My respiratory health is also protected. It’s seems hay has become more dusty in part due to climate change. It’s expensive but worth its weight in gold….

Fantastic customer service
Fantastic customer service, which is rare these days. Had a problem with a bridle and new one was posted out, before they received the faulty one back. When you ring, someone actually answers the phone, a wonderful step back in time. Most online sellers, don’t even have a contact number. I would highly recommend using Elite Saddlery.
