We have been their customers for more than 10 years and are more than satisfied. Virtualization technology changes ( we started with Vservers and LXC ) while generating some discomfort have been handled well.
Their datacenters are reliable and when something goes wrong there is transparency about it. Their support service is professional.

World class support by crazy guys
Back in 2012, the guys at EDIS hat the glorious idea to offer free hosting to everyone who is sending a pre-configured Raspberry Pi to them. They received thousands, built custom racks (even with Lego!) and connected them to the internet.
After upgrading mine to a more recent distribution, it didn't start up again. So I prepared a new SDCard and sent it over to EDIS, but due to a config mistake, the rpi was not reachable to me by SSH. The guys at EDIS not only analyzed the problem in no time but managed to enabling me fixing the issue straight on my rpi! I believe I never received such a premier, super-fast and high quality support, given the fact that hosting is free to me for 10+ years. Many kudos to EDIS!

Sehr schlechter Anbieter
Server als Firma aus Deutschland bestellt (Angabe der Umsatzsteueridentifikationsnummer) im Reverse Charge Verfahren. PayPal Abonnement Zahlung eingerichtet. 1. Rechnung korrekt ohne Umsatzsteuer, 2. Rechnung plötzlich mit 19% Umsatzsteuer... PayPal bucht weiter den "richtigen" Betrag ab und wenige Tage danach folgte dann die Server Abschaltung ohne Vorwarnung, da ja die Differenz der Umsatzsteuer nicht bezahlt wurde.. Trotz WHMCS anscheinend kein Controlling der Automatisierung. Absolutes No Go, nie wieder.

Sicher wissen Sie auch, dass Sie vor Rechnungsstellung dazu verpflichtet sind, die USt-IdNr. zu prüfen. Diese war übrigens zu keinem Zeitpunkt ungültig. (Das wurde von ihrem Support ebenfalls bestätigt.)
Es handelt sich hier vermutlich eher um eine schlechte Implementierung in WHMCS.

Eine PayPal Subscription ist für Ihr Geschäftsmodell, bei allem nötigen Respekt, unpassend. Bitte fordern Sie die Reference Transactions Genehmigung bei PayPal an, damit Sie passende Rechnungsbeträge via Abbuchungsvereinbarung einziehen können, da sich der Rechnungsbetrag bei Ihnen offenbar jederzeit ändern kann.

Ich habe leider keinen Zugriff mehr auf mein Edis Konto, sodass eine Prüfung der E-Mails nicht mehr möglich ist.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung! Es tut uns Leid zu hören, dass Sie mit unserer Arbeitsweise nicht zufrieden sind.
Wenn eine Umsatzsteuer-ID von der Europäischen Union als ungültig gemeldet wird, müssen Rechnungen brutto, incl. der landesüblichen MwSt des Leistungsempfängers, ausgestellt werden.
Für ein Deutsches Unternehmen besteht dann in Deutschland vollständiger Vorsteuerabzug von den 19% MwSt.
EDIS oder PayPal buchen nicht ab. Eine PayPal Subscription ist ein Zahlungsauftrag (vergleichbar mit einem Dauerauftrag) in Ihrem eigenen PayPal Konto. Wenn dieser Zahlungsauftrag nicht angepasst wird, sind die verminderten Zahlungen nicht schuldbefreiend und führen zu einer Suspendierung von Diensten.

Vor der Suspendierung von Diensten werden Zahlungserinnerungen versendet, die auf ein Problem hinweisen und unseren Kunden genügend Zeit geben, sich mit unserem Team in Verbindung zu setzen, bevor es zu einem Aussetzen von Leistungen kommt.
Unser Team ist jederzeit gerne für Kunden erreichbar.
In Notfällen auch rund um die Uhr telefonisch unter unseren Global Rufnummern.

Der EU-VIES-Dienst liefert manchmal "ungültig" zurück, auch wenn die UID-Nummer gültig ist. Das passiert vorwiegend dann, wenn die VIES-Services überlastet sind.
PayPal Reference Payments sind uns natürlich bekannt, trotzdem lag in Ihrem Fall eine Paypal subscription vor.
Alle an Sie übermittelten eMails finden Sie in Ihrem Kunden-Account unter dem Punkt "Email History" bzw. "Email-Verlauf". Alle Mails zurück bis März 2019 finden Sie dort.
Sie können auch gerne ein Ticket mit Verweis auf diese Konversation öffnen, damit wir eine entsprechende Referenz zu Ihrem Kundenkonto herstellen können.
EDIT: Schade, dass Sie innerhalb der letzten 5 Tage noch keine Zeit hatten, die vorige Woche genannten eMails in Ihrem Kundenaccount zu sichten, oder sich mit uns in Verbindung zu setzen.
