ECOS Paints Omdömen 

I got this as I am allergic to house paint... I get dizzy and a sore throat. I hoped this would be an alternative options for me, and although it's better, I still got a headache and sore throat. When I contacted the company they were unsympathetic and blew me off. I would not trust this paint.

Fast delivery. Paint color correct. Covers nicely in two coats. Keeps my rescue parrots and myself safe from fumes and toxins.

UPDATE: Wow, ECOS refunded me for both cans, without my ever asking or expecting them to do so. I'm surprised and impressed by this. Looking at the dates on my emails it had nothing to do with my review. I had a two star review before this, because the Quiet Pink was good, and now I'm adding a third star for the refund. I would still say I found the interactions with customer service a little demoralizing, but I can't criticize their policy here, and a bad painting experience is itself demoralizing. One last note: we ordered sample colors for each of our kids to choose among, and of the three blue/greens we looked at, even the small sample jar of Joyful Tears looked streaky going on compared to the others. We figured it was just the sample but I wonder if there is something off about the formulation for this color.

I used two paints from this company, Quiet Pink and Joyful Tears. Quiet Pink was lovely, though it took an extra (third) coat for full coverage. Joyful Tears was another story. The paint was very thick and had a strong smell. The paint was too thick to pour, which should have been my sign to give up the project, but I was desperate to get my kid's room painted in the weekend I finally had to do it. Big mistake. Short version, I tried diluting the paint with water per internet advice, but even after a full cup it was super thick. I tried painting anyway and the results were a streaky, patchy mess after multiple coats. When I let ECOS know the paint was defective (I did not ask them for a refund since I'd used the paint) they were ... not that nice about it. They suggested the poor results were user error and wouldn't acknowledge that they'd sent me pudding paint. I really wanted to like this company and had planned to paint all the kids' spaces with ECOS, but I won't buy from them again. They tried to tell me the coverage issues were due to the paint being a dark pigment but when I finally gave up and bought a close match in Benjamin Moore it was a perfect, normal consistency and went on like a dream. They also told me if the paint is thick when it arrives they need video evidence so--if that happens to you, take a video?

Shipped fast and the product was easy to work with(filler and sealer). I’m sensitive to other painting products but, didn’t have a problem ECOS.

The paint color match turned out perfect! The smell is minimal, which was very important for me with painting my nursery and baby being here any day. I was shocked how quickly the paint made it to me even with mailing a color swatch. I would definitely use ECOS again! 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a cleaner paint option!

I am beyond pleased with ECOS products! Order arrived expedited, as requested, and I was pleased surprised by the fact that there was no odor at all and product went on smoothly and nicely. I was thrilled with the results and will be purchasing more this month for my next projects.

This is one unique and GREAT company! I would only suggest that its customer service phone department needs to go on a hiring spree. The company apparently has so much business that calls go directly to voice mail and then it's on and off phone tag. I'd recommend that ECOS Paint take some of the revenue generated by all the demand they are obviously experiencing and invest in more customer service employees and phone lines. We almost didn't place our last order because we needed to talk directly with the company about some questions and we waited it out only because their products are so exceptionally GREAT! When we did finally get through to speak with a representative, she was great and informed so it only took a couple minutes to answer our questions. Too bad it took the better part of a day to get through. By the way, when companies shut down phone lines and strictly insist on email, chat, or other digital contact, we do not order anything no matter how good their products or prices are. Please note this last part. It's no joke.

We have autoimmune disorders and live a very low-to-no toxin life. VOCs are very triggering to most with autoimmune disorders but I have not had any issues with ECOS wood floor stain. There is not a strong smell of offgassing at all. Very low and seems to have aired out within a day or two. WOW!

We purchased "Antler" wood stain for our new tiny home and I love it!! It's such a warm brown color, it doesn't pull red or yellow. It's a true earthy brown. We used it on sanded pine and it gave our space a very cozy, rich, timeless look. This was our THIRD order. The first was a sample, the second was to do the job, and the 3rd was to re-do portions of the flooring that we had to remove after the new hot water tank leaked :( womp womp! I'm very impressed and pleased to say all 3 stains matched with the same quality and color.

Delivery was fast! We placed the order on 05/26/2026 and it delivered 05/29/2026! The flooring was stained and installed over the past week and we're already moving back in with no offgassing smells.

It’s on the walls already. It’s so refreshing to have a wall covering that does what paint is designed to do without choking the users and beneficiaries.
I used Lakeland paint for years and years in business and would never use anything else.

I ordered paint with express delivery, and it came even sooner than expected! The color match was perfect and the paint looks beautiful. The matte sheen is a bit more reflective than traditional paint, but a welcome tradeoff for the health benefits of ECOS paint!

The stain and varnish samples I ordered were shipped promptly and arrived in good condition. I was impressed by both the stain and varnish with regard to the absence of odor and richness of color. I intend to order a quart of each as soon as the temperatures are expected to go above freezing. Thanks for making such a great product.
