Nashville Airport DoubleTree

Hard to rate. Staff friendly. Rooms clean and big enough. The bathroom layout is odd in that the counter and sink are in the bedroom, not bathroom. The hotel layoff works against a quiet stay for half of the guests. The hotel is just rectangular stacks on top of each other. It's disorienting in that there is no landmarks to say where you are at, just door after door. Half of the hotel faces out to the large pool area which can be so noisy from daylight until after ten. Those facing the pool, all, will never know quite. The design causes a huge echo and you can hear everything, every conversation, every child scream. So ask for an outer ring room if you like quite. But, and here is what upsets me most, this hotel charges for parking, $16 a car, a night! That adds ups quickly. They also charge for breakfast! I'm surprised they don't nickel and dime you more with an attendant at the pool selling swimming tickets, charge for ice and god help you if you want clean towels. I will never, NEVER, stay there again. There are a million hotels in Nashville. Choose better and they ALL do not take advantage like this hotel. Free parking and free breakfast is a mainstay everywhere except at this GREEDY beyond belief nickel and dime you to death, badly designed hotel. Call any other of the millions of hotels Nashville offers.

Hilton Doubletree Bellshill, Strathclyde

I stayed for two nights at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel, Strathclyde, with a group of six overseas visitors. The staff were very friendly and helpful - going "above and beyond" to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. They were very accommodating to our requests - even when we required a late meal one evening - and arrived even later than intended. Everything else - rooms, service, cleanliness - were of the high standard expected.

Commendable in every respect!

Terrible customer service

I booked two rooms at this hotel through Priceline. When I checked in, the front desk employee (who was new) asked for my credit card, which is standard. However, they only gave me one room and mistakenly charged me for an additional room. I didn't realize this at the time, as I trusted the process and didn’t ask for a receipt when I checked out. A month later, I discovered they had charged me for three rooms, including the ones I booked through Priceline. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue and request a refund for one room, I was unable to. My advice to others: always ask for a receipt when checking out to avoid any billing mistakes.

Bed Bugs!!!

On July 29th through the July 31rst my wife and I we hired for a job for the newly built Childrens Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. We stayed at the Doubletree in Lavista Northlake located at 4156 Lavista North.
The third day, Wednesday, I woke up to multiple bed bug bites all over my body! We completed the job and headed back home. By the time I returned home more bites had broken out. I was burning, itching, and MISERABLE!
We had to dispose of all of our clothing and the suitcases we took. The anxiety level of my wife was a 10 because she had in her mind somehow, we had brought them into our home. For me, it was a mental issue that for three days nasty bugs ate on my flesh.
I did not go to the doctor because I knew it was Bed Bug bites and the only thing, they could give me was an anti-itch cream I could purchase over the counter. Thursday night I woke up to more breakouts and my wife ended up going to Walgreens at 1 am in the morning to purchase more creams to help with the itching and burning.
We contacted the hotel, spoke with the manager over the hotel. She advised she was going to close the room until further investigation. After hiring a Pest Control Agency, the manager called us to confirm the Pest Control Agency verified that for three days we had been sleeping in beds infested with Bed Bugs! My wife took multiple pictures of my bites.
The manager advised our case had been sent to their Insurance Adjuster. The Insurance Adjuster reached out to us, but as of today, September 5, 2024, we have no resolution. After reading reviews concerning this Hotel, this is not the first time Bed Bugs have been reported at this establishment. Something needs to be done immediately about this Hotel!
It is not right, nor fair to the consumer that they are able to get away with this.

Hilton, a HUGE disappointment. Not what it used to.

Colleagues from my company and I stayed and were kicked out of the hotel due to some new invasive policies in which they reserved the right to search rooms at any time, DND tag or not. The hotel did NOT disclose this information at reservation, check-in, or through a note inside the room.

The searches took everyone by surprise. I asked questions to make sure the security guys were who they said they were, but they were arrogant, impatient, and demanded to open the door or else would evict us, call the police and charge us with trespassing. All we wanted was to call our manager and front desk for instructions, but it didn't take very long before two armed guards stepped in front of the door.

As soon as I opened the door, they barged in, demanded to surrender our IDs, took pictures of us and our belongings without our consent, *shouted* out loud the hotel's policy, and escorted us off the property.

The same scene could be observed for other guests on the same hallway. When I asked why, they said this was because we were attending the Def Con 32 conference, and we had to comply with daily search policies to guarantee the safety of other guests and their property.

I couldn't believe how RUDE and IGNORANT this was. Def Con is a Cybersecurity Convention where professionals and afficionados exchange system vulnerability discoveries so others can make information systems safer for everyone.

Hilton at Resorts World may have the right to perform searches, but targeting Cybersecurity professionals over harmless electronic devices is not only discriminatory, but also ignorant and ridiculous. If the hotel trains their security personnel to behave like savages, I wonder where else they are missing the point and abusing people's trust.

If they installed X-Ray scanning systems at the hotel's entrance, it would've been less intrusive and disrespectful, and would've accomplished their misguided good intentions. I since filed a complaint to their "Guest Relations Specialist", and up to this day, not a single word. Hence, I highly recommend you to stay away from Hilton, especially the one at Resorts World in Las Vegas.

Absolut zu empfehlen Dank Shuttlebus auch wenn das Hotel ausserhalb ist!

Doubletree Hilton, Bristol North: Are you a Hilton premium member? No, would that make a difference? Just a regular customer being treated badly.

No mention of parking fee when booked through third party. Sinking feeling when fan plugged in and running when entering room. Air con not working. 2 towels for a family of four. Shower height adjuster cracked and wouldn’t stay fixed, resting at chest height. Quick turn around with kids to get out for pre booked meal. On return spoke to front desk regard issues. Lady very polite and sincere said someone more senior will call you on your room phone to discuss. Oh and we’ve been having issues with air con in your wing of the hotel for a while. Returned to room, phone has no cord. Returned to desk to inform them. Was told someone more senior would come and knock on door. 1 hr later some middle manager appears to inform me that it looks like we’ve been having air con issues for like 15-20mins. A lie! Got a big ugly fan in my room as a coincidence then. Oh dear, doesn’t tally up with your lady on the desk either. No maintenance people available to fix either air con or shower. We could move you to another room but only a double and sofa bed. I informed him that my 2 very young children, 1 very unwell (return leg of a week’s holiday) were now in pyjamas in bed and he, mr middle manager, was too late. Staring at me blankly he then asked if I was a Hilton Premium Club member. No, would that make a difference? Just a regular customer being treated badly. How to resolve the situation? 20% off room and your parking refunded. If that’s all you can offer then sure. I’m not looking for money, just a room as sold. I hate arguing, I hate complaining. Just want to be treated fairly and honestly. Walking past reception having gone to get some medicine for my sickly toddler I am beckoned over to the desk by mr middle management. My senior supervisor would like to talk to you… sorry sir we will have difficulties providing any discount as you have booked through third party. And…. I said. Another blank face. Fed up I said I’m really disappointed and the customer service has been disgusting. Chased down the hall by the senior supervisor. We can move you to another room!? What wonderful communication between colleagues. Repeating everything again I left her with I’m very frustrated and angry, best we talk in the morning. Who knows what that will bring? Some more lies and ducking and diving I imagine. To think we thought the hotel might be something a bit posher to break up our long journey home. I write this with a large ugly fan loudly blowing hot wind in my face. If ever you find yourself needing a hotel in the Bristol Cribbs Causeway area avoid this place. There’s a Premier Inn 10 mins away (we stayed there on our outward journey), they couldn’t have done enough for us. Room was as sold. Ps, the Double Tree, Hilton’s restaurant is called Brunel’s Hat, after the great Isambard Kingdom Brunel. He must have left it making a quick dash for the exit.

DoubleTree NYC West 40th Street

A name alone is no longer enough, dirty room, dirty and damaged furniture, damaged and very gross wallpaper, dirty elevators with dangerous little steel open doors. This hotel has clearly seen its best days, for this rate there are (much) better hotels available in the Big Apple. First AND last time here for us. Also the location felt not so nice later in the evening when we walked back.

Doubletree ExCel Feeston Way East London

The Hotel is decent the staff were very accommodating, the room and facilities are good.

The main issues was the quality of the cappuccino especially from the machines that was very poor. Also the hot breakfast e.g. suasages, eggs, bacon etc. etc. was always warm to cold. We experience this 2 times in a row in the 1st week of May and last week of May 2024 that was very disappointing.

Great Property

Lets start at the beginning. We arrived after a very long drive from south Wales. We stopped at the bottom of the entrance to look at such an impressive building. We couldn't wait to get inside, book in and get to our room. The reception staff were very helpful and happy as were the staff going about their duties. They all said hello in a cheery manner.
I think that's where the good news ends.

We went into our room and were surprised at the lack of facilities.

At this point I will let you know that we have spent time in the Hilton in London and various other hotels.

As Double Tree is a part of the Hilton group, we expected more.

There was no water in the room. Were we expected to drink it out of the tap?

The coffee and tea was in the cupboard underneath the television. Nescafe and some other tea. Not exactly inspiring. Why not an espresso machine as in other quality hotels. Even the boutique hotels provide this.

The room had windows but to get some cool air in you had to stand holding the window open! We understand the health and safety aspect, surely though, they could of been adapted to stay open just a little bit?

The drain hole in the bath did not drain very well at all. Obviously the plumbing system was not built for so many rooms.

In general we think the hotel is tired and needs some serious investment in it, Threadbare carpets on the stairs is not good. Sticky bits on the bathroom tiles, not good. A flush button on the toilet cistern that is behind the toilet seat, not good.

That's the accommodation dealt with.

Kailyard. I was so so looking forward to this experience. Haven eaten at the Shard, The Hilton the Oxo Tower and various other venues, the thought of eating at the Hilton in a restaurant that Nick Nairn had a hand in, with devising the menu, was making my mouth water. How disappointing.

We were early and the restaurant was not full, however we were kept waiting for nearly 10 minutes, even though there were staff available to deal with us. Not really a good start.

Eventually we were seated and provided with a menu. A very select menu that we both found uninspiring to say the least. Nick Nairn was involved in this? Really. I think he would be embarrassed if this was all that was on offer and his name was put to it. What is Scottish about an over glorified prawn cocktail that was really salty. The ribeye steak was cooked to medium as I asked but was tough? Where was the hearty Scottish cuisine? The seasonal ingredients?

Where was the Haggis, Venison and traditional Scottish food with seasonal vegetables?

Very disappointing.

Credit to the breakfast staff though. That was a joy and met the standards that we would of expected at a Hilton group hotel.

Finally, in our haste to get out of the hotel, my wife forgot her pillow. After a while driving away from you, my wife realised this and phoned the hotel. It was a difficult process trying to firstly get to speak to someone. Why do we have to go through so many options just to ask about a pillow that was left in the room? The only way this pillow could be returned to us was by royal mail, a very expensive way to send things and there was no flexibility on this. We use other companies that are a damn site cheaper than Royal Mail.

Overall, our experience was not a good one and we hope that this review brings change to the hotel so that people can enjoy the Hilton experience.

Disgusting Doubletree hotel in Plymouth…

Disgusting Doubletree hotel in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Filthy, stained carpets, blood stain on the shower curtain, down comforter so old the down was in golfball size balls with MOLD on them that was visible when held up in the light, broken, chipped furniture, carpets in halls stained and dirty. On top of that, trying to get my money and points back was a nightmare. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Hayley at doubletree hilton lincoln

We stayed at hilton doubletree Lincoln from thr 5th April 2024 for 2 nights. Hotel was great, clean and modern rooms. Breakfast was perfect. The stand out f9r our fam was the friendly and professional service from yhe reception hilton club host hayley. She was so friendly and easy to talk to. Answering all questions relating to places to see amd visit but then finding ourselves having an actual conversation although we had known each other for years. I can recommend this hotel enough as the staff are fantastic. Keep up the thr great work hayley and team . . . . Ps gey this lady promoted, she knows what she's doing x

Kaitlyn Main Desk Hilton Double Tree Chester

When I arrived after a long journey, Kaitlyn at the desk was very professional even when the computer was slow!!, checked me in no problems, she was always smiling throughout and made me feel very welcome..The cookie was the icing on the Cake!! it was free and complimentary. Thanks Kaitlyn

I visited the Hilton London hotel…

I visited the Hilton London hotel 12.03.24 for a work event. Upon arrival I didn't have to wait before being offered a glass of processco which was lovely. I was greeted by a lady called Reema who sorted out my booking and organised for my room key. Reema was extremely polite and professional. The event was great and our team had a lovely stay! Thank you

DOUBLETREE MILTON KEYNES

well i would say it wasn’t that bad if it wasn’t for the rude chinese lady on the desk in the evening/late afternoon, she thinks its ok to talk over people with an attitude. However the stay was ok, but could be improved, No window that can be opened in the room which would’ve been nice to open a window. bed was fine, tv is rubbish. However wasn’t completely bad, but the rude lady had already set the tone

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING - Newbury

Arranged a Christmas staff meal here in December. Poor correspondence (so should have known issues would happen), food was very basic but that’s not the big issue. I have been waiting since the start of December for an agreed refund. Numerous emails to different contacts, complaint sent in, to receive a standard response asking for more info (all info was provided), to then hear nothing back. AGAIN. Absolutely appauling behaviour. The only positive was the staff working there on the night, who were all great

Not happy at all

I stayed here for 2 nights and was very disappointed with my stay..got to my room there was only 1 set of towels, 1 dressing gown and Slippers when 2 people were staying..had to ask 3 times for my room to been cleaned, restocked and bedding changed..ordered a coke in the bar and it was flat as a pancake..my pillows had black stains/marks on..NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!
