We absolutely love our front door. The colour is perfect
and the obscure patterned glass gives the door character. It’s a top quality product which gives a high level of security far superior to the previous composite and upvc doors we have had in the past. The hall is much lighter and warmer and the lock is easy to use and has the secure by design accreditation. The fitters were polite and professional and cleared away any debris. From beginning to end we had a positive experience and would definitely recommend this company.

We are SO pleased with our new back door - providing our own measurements we were nervous about (but clearly now, for no reason at all as everything has been spot on) and we went for an opaque glass door in dark brown and it really is super. The installation team were incredibly polite and really knew their stuff. They were not intrusive and I genuinely don’t believe that there are many doors as good as this one which is secure and looks good (so good the neighbours have commented). We have a second project on with them - the front door - which I will review separately once that’s done but I’m certain it will match this review or better it!

I have 2 amazing doors from Dortech. Fitted neatly, professionally, and politely, the quality is the best I’ve seen. Definitely the best doors we’ve ever had.

Really great door. Very happy with the quality. Had a few issues making sure we had the right dimensions. It’s a lot of money to spend with a company you’ve only dealt with over the phone. Had a small issue with the latch after fitting as we had no fitting instructions or instructions on how to make the necessary adjustments. Glad to say an engineer came straight out to adjust it. As a domestic customer I found it quite daunting that my measurements would be manufactured and had it measured professionally. Better safe than sorry. I think Dortech would benefit from surveying doors before manufacture or offering a fitting service for what I think is a high ticket price item. For all these reasons there was a long time from initial enquiry to delivery, but worth the wait in the long run.

The process of ordering a door is fairly simple in the first steps online. Sales person will call or email you to go through the process of measuring to make sure the door will actually fit. The sales process was amazing. Calls to confirm details and lots of emails. Communication was great. UNTIL you pay in full. Communication completely broke down when it came to the after sale and delivery service. Asked several times by email to get updates on a delivery date as we had to find someone to actually install the door which was harder than we thought. Like pulling teeth it was an unpleasant experience. Then all of a sudden a call that the door is ready for delivery in under 3 weeks. Great in one way but not so great that we still had no installer as we didn't know for when to actually book one. Stressful...
Found an installer for the week mentioned but got no confirmation of a date. Several calls and emails trying to reach our contact and the first mentioned possible delivery date passed without any information or delivery. A call was not returned and the second was cut off at 5 as the offices closed and the telephone system switched modes. Didn't receive a call back after so still in the dark about delivery. Tomorrow is the final delivery day mentioned. Will I get my door I paid over 4k for? At the moment I am in serious doubt. Installer is booked in 3 days. Do I have to postpone? Who knows...

This has been the most stressful purchase I ever made!
