I was bought a Vonhaus cable when I ordered my electric car nearly 14 months ago. Covid plus parts from China and Ukraine caused the massive delay.
When the car arrived I unwrapped the cable and tried it. It was faulty.
It was bought as a gift from a person and I dont have the purchase details or reciept.
Given the unique circumstances I was hoping for a little support from Vonhaus. Despite various E mails,Vonhaus and the parent company DOMU would not help.
You cannot speak to anyone as they will only deal with you online - hiding behind E mails.
Frustrating company with no common sense nor customer empathy. AVOID.

Ordered a Parasol, Base and Cover. The base never arrived. No customer service - this company has a fake telephone number that goes to voicemail.... no ansa message facility either. Emailed company several times asking for someone to call me back.... no phone call. I am in process of reporting this firm to Trading Standards for advertising offers that don';t exist. Click Bait. Once you place order, half of it arrives and you end up chasing couriers and the company for hours on end etc..... AVOID AVOID AVOID SCAM TRADERS.

This company failed to make a refund of £99.99 dispite endless requests.I therefore issued County Court proceedings against them which they also ignored.I have now obtained a court judgment against them and I am about to instruct the court bailiffs to enter their premises to recover the debt and all the court costs incurred.
What a total disgrace for a company turning over 79 million pounds in their last registered trading accounts.

Well I'm happy. Bought a great vacuum cleaner, great price delivered ok no damage and it works really well. I'm not and never have been in any way connected to Domus, just a satisfied customer.

Such a bad company without customer service
Such a bad company with no customer service. They messed up the delivery of my hanging chair, which was supposed to be delivered within 5 days and is yet to be seen after more than 3 weeks. I was very patient but they are so unhelpful. They blame their courier but do not try to sort out your issue, only send automatic emails without really contacting the courier. All they do is "investigations" that take 48 hours every time ... for no result. And every time they write to you there is a different reason for your item not being delivered. By the way, the courier they are working with is actually really horrible. They do not contact you before attempting deliveries (which I doubt they do to be honest because I was at home every time and didn't hear any bell ring). Once you mention to Domubrands you haven't received the delivery, they say ....... that the courier attempted a delivery at 4am or another one at 11pm (?!!!!). I was astonished. What kind of courier does that type of delivery times ? It just does not make any sense. Obviously they do not communicate with you nor send you an email before or after the delivery ... and trust me I was at home at this time LOL. Oh, and by the way, if you want to call the courier, you are charged a premium price over your normal phone tariffs. Does that mean I have to pay for THEIR mess ?
To finish, you are unable to join Domubrands over the phone. When you ask by email for them to call you back, they just ignore this and continue with their automatic emails.
Please, avoid this company for your own good.
Disastrous product, dodgy company
The trimmer was obviously faulty, as within 2 minutes of light use the blade guard with edge wheel broke off. It is very flimsy and not fit for purpose.
On returning it to Domu Brands UK in the exact same packaging with the returns label supplied, there was insufficient postage. After messaging them they told me to return it via Hermes, which I did and they have received it. Hermes tracking still says it is on its way since 20 May, but both Hermes and Domu agree it has been delivered. However, Domu are now refusing to refund me unless I complete the tracking info on eBay or close the case. eBay will not accept the Hermes tracking info, I assume because it was not via the official returns label.
Domu are now telling me to close the case. If I close the case, as they are asking me to, I'm pretty certain I will never hear from them again or ever get a refund.
It seems there's a scam going on there somewhere.

Broken promises and non delivery of order!
Ordered the product (garden Table and chairs) last Wednesday (6 days ago) and paid for next day delivery. I accepted this would not be until Friday but that was fine. It’s now Tuesday evening and not only have I not received the product, I have only so far received order confirmation (straight after my order) but no indication of delivery or ETA. There’s no phone number so I’ve sent an email to Vonhaus customer service at the weekend but no reply or even acknowledgement so far. If it wasn’t for the hundreds of other reviews on Trustpilot, I would have assumed I’d been scammed by a bogus company!
Update:- now received my deliver - but the 6 chairs have arrived but no sign of the table, but instead a “garden compost box”. No way of phoning but I got an email response this time to tell me sorry, but they have no tables in stock so despite me ordering as a complete set, I can now lug the 4 boxes to a return point (at my cost and time) and if I return them all I will get a refund! Outrageous!! I will instead raise a disputed transaction with my credit card provider given I haven’t received the goods I have paid for. I copied in the Operations Director who i found on LinkedIn but not sure if that will help! Steer clear of this company would be my advice based on my experience so far.
Broken promises
I ordered a hammock from these people because they promised next day delivery and I wanted it in a hurry for a birthday present. Two days later it has not arrived. I have had an email saying it has shipped. Yodel says it has not received it yet. The customer services number is not being answered "because of Covid". Have sent an email. Received a reply saying basically that the email saying it has shipped does not mean that it has actually shipped and I must wait another 2 days to see where it is. Too late. Cannot even cancel it now which is what I would like to do. Do not trust these people

Item came with a broken drawer, rather than open the box and send me 1 drawer I had to send the whole unit back that I had built! Print off labels book a collection and wait another day in was all aloud of faff! Wouldn't order from here again!
Good quality product and excellent customer service
I bought a Van Haus socket set and have not been disappointed. It was delivered a day earlier than expected using Hermes so all good from that perspective.
After a few days use I noticed that some of the sockets included were wrong, raised this with Domu immediately and have had very regular and rapid responses - I can’t fault them at all.
Initially they offered a 10% discount if I wanted to keep it, but when I said I’d rather have the full set, they very quickly sent through a link for me to arrange collection from my house and on a day that works for me. So far, no complaints - in fact of say fantastic customer service!

My mum ordered a gazebo which was delivered with wrong sidewalls so cannot be used, after almost two weeks of sending emails about this and pictures as they requested they have now just stopped responding, almost £100 down the drain! Truly awful company and they use an even worse courier. Lost my item even though the courier claimed to have tried to deliver it. Couldn’t offer a replacement as it suddenly went out of stock. Shocking customer service, so many different people answering my emails with no clue about how to help. No refund until they “sort it out with the courier” - not my problem. Don’t go near them.

Bought a von haus angle grinder , lasted about 10 mins until it just stopped working , so emailed the customer service and as standard 3 day waiting for my reply ( due to high amount of complaints no doubt) I started my quest for a refund , 16 emails later , ALL with a 3 day wait for a reply , I am still waiting for my refund , the last 3 reply's were , that's it all sorted ,but refunds take 3 - 7 days to appear in my bank account . But alas 7 days after my last reply , still no sign of my money , customer service is a joke !

Ordered “dual arm gas monitor mount with clamp” for £45 (Order no. VH000197472).
Unfortunately, it’s faulty and had to be returned. One of the arms would not hold my 27” 2.7kgs monitor (the weight limit was 6kg per arm and up to 27”) past the vertical position. Once it reached vertical the monitors just fell forward so it was therefore unsafe to use. The design is flawed and the parts are cheap and coated in plastic. When trying to tighten the pivot point with the tool provided, it counter screws inside and the inside just wares and doesn’t tighten. It would be far better to gave a steel bolt going straight through that you can hold at one side and tighten.
I contacted Von Haus (AKA Domu Brands) and it took them about a week to say to return it, then a further week to give me the details for printing a return label (through Hermes).
I returned the item over a week ago and am still waiting to hear from them regarding a replacement or refund.
The whole process has taken weeks and meanwhile I have 2 brand new monitors that i can’t use as I don’t have the mount to put them on!
Poor show. I did actually write a similar review for posting on their own website and, funnily enough, they haven’t put it on their site. There’s only positive reviews on their website. Funny that.
