Delightful tool, and ability to connect with communities - and that is where it stops. If you need anything from Discord.com outside of actually using the App, then they are not worth investing your time. They have atrocious support time. Letting wait time exceed longer than they should for account and billing tickets. Permitting themselves to take payments for accounts that have been compromised without word on handling

If I am lucky to get suitable support, then of course, I will review my current experience.

I am tired of trying to find a social media platform. Even Discord mostly consists of low I.Q. and short attention span people who confuse civilized discussions with being essays.

These younger generations are dumber, illiterate, and refuse to read long paragraphs. They would rather read short attention span memes that do not require much thinking. They are intellectually lazy by refusing to use professional punctuation.

I have no hope for future generations in the business world.

Younger generations would use racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, and other types of slurs online rather than talking properly. This is proving that modern parents are not doing the job of making their children become civilized. It shows that younger generations have nothing better to do than waste their time online talking improperly, using unprofessional punctuation, and only read short sentences for small attention span.

There is no civilized community on Discord.

Due to the increasing wealth inequality, technologies replacing human workers, and rising political corruption, future humans will get dumber. Not better.

These younger generations really do not know the meaning of stability and order. They are causing their own downfall by not fighting against the idiocracy. They would rather enable degeneracy and creepy perverts from OnlyFans, porn sites, B.D.S.M., junk food, alcohol, drugs, and other things instead of actually protecting children from degeneracy and creepy perverts. This is why younger generations are going downhill. It is why I refuse to have children in this degenerate idiocracy. This modern society is intellectually bankrupt and lazy while not caring about protecting children, too. I would not want to have these younger generations near my hypothetical children.

Democracy and freedom sound great on paper. But without stability and order, the idea of protecting people from predators, idi0ts, and degeneracy is a joke. So, I would never let my hypothetical children be on Discord or any social media platform until they were 18 because of how increasingly uncivilized the online world has become. In the past decades ago, people used to write and read properly online with bigger attention spans. But now, people are too lazy to do that.

To add more of my complaint, Discord has awful customer support service because civilization does not exist anymore when big businesses are never being held accountable for screwing over customers legally. This is showing late stage capitalism and working class people being abandoned from big businesses that only offer awful customer support service.

i thing discord is very good thing for normal communities and even for business and scholls, lot of developers let their BOTs and AIs here, just fantastic

The website is overall fine, but for people who are new to discord they should just stay safe and not get into trouble, if you are on a more friendly or cool side of discord with a mix of a little drama here and there, discord is pretty chill but it depends on the user.

Too many annoying ads, and the app isnt very intuitive.

Nice app and I like the bot api BUT THE STAFF ARE USELESS! I have has a ticket open for over a week without a response, every hour it gets marked as solved without telling me why, I ask them why they marked it as solved when it really isnt and they just marked it as solved AGAIN! this has been happening from the past week and they're too lazy to read it so they just mark it as solved without replying

Discord is a phenomenal chat platform. It can be used as an alternative to Slack and it has an awesome, near-flawless user interface. They can be a bit annoying with security, but otherwise they are great!

They will ban your Account globally for no reason, do not use this.

I had not even heard of them but someone was using my email address to set up an account
I reported the fraud but sadly Discord support couldn’t t care less and actually I feel we’re on the side of the scammer and did not want the account deleted.

Really like the service. It's easy, intuitive, and completely free!
It's great for hosting a public server or just chatting with friends!

If someone manages to breach your account and change your email adress, good freaking luck!
Their support will take MONTHS to do anything about it, something that most other companies would have fixed in no time flat (Valve took 4 hours on a saturday afternoon to get my steam account back before the days of 2 factor authentication), Discord support will beat around the bush and not even give word back for literal weeks, its now 2 weeks since a friends account got breached and Support has done nothing while the script kid has had free reign to look through private messages(which is a breach of privacy law), spam others, and spend money on Nitro with the card that cannot be unlinked since the account is out of our hands.

Worst social media platform with no support. They don't care about the customers and don't be surprised if one day your account will be banned for no reason and the support only ignoring you with an automated reply.

The support is terrible. They disable account for stupid or no reason at all. You can't appeal because the simple response is: "Your account was disabled for violating our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines. We will not reinstate the account."
This is a bot response btw. No reason, no explanation, nothing. They care only about money from nitro. No customer support, no comunication with community.
I just got logged out from my discord while I was voice-chat and when I was trying to log-in it says my account was been disabled. I've got NO EMAILS from discord that day informing me about this. This can't be accepted.

Discord est un excellent réseau social qui se distingue des autres par ses mécanismes de serveurs et aux bots aidant à la modération par exemple.
L'interface est correcte et intuitive, il n'y a rien à redire à ce sujet.

En revanche, le support... C'est une catastrophe. Le support met énormément de temps à répondre lorsque l'on contacte le service "Confiance et Sécurité". Tout cela pour obtenir une simple réponse copiée-collée inutile. Et parfois, ils ne répondent même pas du tout. C'est très peu professionnel !

-> Edit: la catégorie "Confiance et Sécurité" a été supprimé, le système actuel est encore plus pourrie que avant.

De plus, les développeurs ne semblent pas écouter la communauté pour les mises à jour. Ils font parfois des choix étranges et stupides, comme la suppression du tag à la fin des pseudos (par exemple : Utilisateur#1234).

En conclusion, Discord est un excellent réseau social à utiliser de manière ordinaire (comme moi la plupart du temps), mais le support est désastreux et les choix des développeurs laissent parfois à désirer.

Derfor anbefaler jeg Teamspeak, eller hvilket som helst alternativ derude, som IKKE er Discord.

Ekstremt ressource-hæftig applikation på computeren, uden logisk grund.

Hvis jeg konstant skal logge ind, som i 1998 - kunne jeg lige så godt undgå at logge online overhovedet.

Det her gider jeg ikke - jeg er mere værd dette, og sån er alle andre individer i Danmark, minimum.

Es gibt nicht viel zu Discord zu sagen. Discord ist eine sehr gute Plattform, wenn man mal mit Freunden talken will. Discord hat jedoch noch sehr viele Bugs und ob sich Discord Nitro lohnen würde weiß ich nicht meine Meinung für 9€ und das was man da bekommt, naja viel zu wenig, aber wer Discord pushen und Unterstützen will kann das so tun.
