Professional manner
Professional manner, will go above and beyond. Me and my wife are very happy with our system, we started receiving our seg payments recently too. Special thanks to Brittany from compliance who explained that to me and my wife how it all works and kept us in the loop whilst we waited for the dno approval to come back. This part was long winded, however credit where due Brittany and her team went the extra mile to chase this for me and my wife. Our installers were also very professional a big thanks to Richie and Mick. Can not thank them enough.

Happy in the end
We had many issues with our installation & I found it very hard to get through to anyone and when I did was promised a call back which never happened. The lack of customer care is pretty shocking. I finally demanded to talk to a senior member of the team when I received a call from David's PA. She was Terrific! explained my concerns and issues I was having and she really went above and beyond to help. She gave me her number so any enquires or concerns I could get in contact. She really worked her magic in resolving my issues. She was always updating me and letting me know what was going on. She liaised with the tech team, sent me out new dongles, booked in fitters she was just such a delight and what I would call a ray of sunshine. I now have a fully working system which is generating. I couldn't be more happier! Thank you Iolanda for all your help! Thank you Deege for a great system. I'm loving being plugged into the sun!

Abysmal service resulting in having to make a charge back via my bank.
My advice to anyone reading this would be to avoid deege solar at all costs and save yourself time, effort and alot of stress.
They clearly cannot provide an adequate service and have bitten off more than they can chew whilst trying to jump on the gravy train of the energy crises and taking on way too many customers that they cannot handle.
I have absolutely no doubt that deege solar has the worst communication of any company I have had the displeasure in dealing with (this also includes between their own departments)
My order was placed in August 2022 with an installation date set for mid December 2022... I payed a deposit of nearly £3000.
My first installation didn't go ahead as I was informed a few days before installation (due to negligence and having to let some employees go).
My installation was then rescheduled for late January 2023 and this is where everything went sour.
I had already tried to contact deege solar over 2 days prior to the installation date to get some information about the scaffolding. The installation department never answered so i had to telephone sales who answered every time... i was given the generic "someone will call you back" response for the 2 days leading up to the installation.
It is now the day of installation and between 09:30 - 12:00 I tried to contact deege solar several times to find out what was happening and couldn't get through.
I then received a call at approx 12:30 asking me what date I would prefer for my new installation date which just baffled me! Absolutely zero communication at this point! I wasn't even offered an apology but I was told that they had sent out an email to all customers informing them that they were struggling to source parts and they there would be delays... I never received one... I couldn't believe that they wouldn't contact customers directly to inform them that their Installation was effectively cancelled.
At this moment I decided to cancel my installation because I dreaded the thought of having to chase the company any longer and I was given a cancellation document the next day.
The document stated 2-3 days for someone to look into and confirm the cancellation...
I waited 4 days and then spent another 4 days trying to contact deege solar because once again I received no communication to confirm if I would be infact receiving my money back.
I then received an email stating that I need to give my bank details and that it would take up to 28 days to process the refund.
I then waited 28 days but bingo! No refund.
I then tried to contact deege solar again to no avail and was left with only 2 options... either contact my bank or seek legal advice.
Thankfully I was able to initiate a charge back which at that point had been 36 days since cancellation and 41 days total to recieve my money back through my bank.
Shame on you deege solar for treating your customers this way.

Poor service and lack of communication
Initially i found the sales process good, no pushy sales people and questions answered in a timely manner. Unfortunately i wasn't given an expiry date on the quotation given and when I placed an order several months the prices had increased substantially. I found this a little unfair but proceeded anyway.
Our initial install was further delayed with little notice and lack of parts was cited, however a week before our second planned date we were contacted about their lack of permission from the elec board to proceed further at this time, which proved they weren't ready for the first install date 6 weeks earlier.
After them last minute changing our design in a rushed phone call just to achieve permission, and no discount offered for the downgrade in equipment I lost faith/trust in their knowledge and capability and cancelled the order. Over 1 month later they still havent returned the deposit nor will they respond to emails, phone constantly rings out as engaged. I would advise against ordering with this company as it is such a large investment, they dont seem to be able deliver nor abide by their own T & C's.
A terrific value, high quality system from a professional team.
The Deege installation in 2022 was smooth and professional despite the various global supply chain issues, which slowed things down a bit. We received great advice throughout, a super price and the system works perfectly. I’d also like to give a special shout-out to the Deege compliance department who were brilliant in helping us sort out the problems with our energy export tariff.

Avoid at all cost
Avoid at all cost. Installation delayed 3 times, with no notice. Credit card details compromised after providing them to Deege solar over the phone. Constant chasing and poor communication. I ended up cancelling, but it's been over 30 days and still no refund!

Stress free installation
First team arrived, Ritchie and Johnny, they started installing the panels, 2nd team arrived, Mick and Kieran. The Electricians. Both teams worked seamlessly and by 4.30 we were up and running. Cannot fault these guys, they were polite, respectful and it was a pleasure to have them working here. By 4 30 we were ready for the handover and Mick explained everything we needed to know. And a follow up call later in the evening to check we were happy.
We are. Today , a nice March day, we have fully charged the battery and are enjoying using our solar energy. And watching the inverter display and app has become a 'thing' !!!

Doubts at first , Happy with the end results
We placed our order back in last September of which the whole sale process was with a guy called Pete he answered all te questions we had and helped us with the technical questions regarding storage that we couldn’t find the answers to online. Paid our deposit please with the returns we was presented and then a week later was booked in with Chloe and installation date giving for February.
Unfortunately this got pushed back the day before install which was frustrating as we had moved the stuff out of the garage . That said we got a lot of apologies and a explanation as to why so we waited patiently
We now have our install finished after a 4 day installation with Jason and Ash and I can’t express how happy we are with them and the quality is what we was hoping for I am obsessed with the app and I can’t thank everyone at team Deege enough for all there help hopefully I’ll get my handover soon so we can get or SEG payments

The installers were very neat and tidy
Having an enquiry put through after a long discussion about affordability with my partner we decided to pull the trigger finally and go green. We spoke with the energy advisor, he was brilliant and talked me through everything making sure I fully understood how the systems work and what would work best for me. We decided to go with Growatt for a few reasons, it is affordable, it’s readily in stock, the after install tech is good and shinephone works well but mainly the systems look incredible. I have a 6kw and 6.5kw battery which we fill up day and use in the night.
When it came to installation we arranged on the 12th January (brilliant! Late Christmas present!) when it got to early January we were contacted by the team as there were some delays and they mentioned they had to re-arrange their calendar due to the delays. Fine. We are understanding people. It is definitely worth the wait. We were then. Rebooked for early march.
March came and installation. I have had lengthy chats with the office staff, great girls, they have talked me through who was coming and when. Mick and Richie and Johnny came and installed everything. It looks great! The panels make my house look so modern and the battery and inverter set up looks incredible. We chose to have the electrics in our garage so there wouldn’t be loads of cables and so I could see the system more. The cables were put into conduit which was better for me, I like it neat. The guys were done within 2 days (brilliant!) I then spoke with their tech person Temi. He helped me understand the app a bit more. I can’t get off my phone now I am constantly looking at what the panels are producing.
I received my MCS Certificate within a week of having the installation and a call from the office to confirm I received it by email. Great communication. I am now just waiting on my DNO to come back which I have spoken to Brittany about and she says it should be with me within a couple weeks. I really can’t fault this company at all, they have all made sure I know what’s going on and when to expect things. Really glad I chose deege solar.
This is the best decision I have made. I can’t wait to see how this summer goes!
Avoid
Pros:
• Initial quote done over the phone.
• Installers and subcontractors tidier than a lot of tradespeople
• The system works as expected.
Cons:
• Installation cancelled at less than 24 hours’ notice on 2 occasions due to Deege not organising themselves to get people where they needed to be.
• Original installation date 9/11, work started 1/12
• Phones and emails pre-installation often unanswered. Difficult to get hold of anybody to confirm details of work and have errors in the contract corrected.
• The installation manager (who is also the managing director), called the day before installation stating work would begin at 9am an take one day. Work started at 1:30pm and installation took a total of 41 (yes forty-one) days from start to finish due to:
o The roof work was not booked until day 2 of the installation, therefore the job was never going to be one day.
o Subcontracted electricians not being familiar with Fox equipment.
o Installers arriving mid-morning and leaving mid-afternoon as they did not want to wait on the phone to Fox to fix the installation problems.
o The wifi stick for the inverter not working and needing replacement.
o Deege forgetting to install a generation meter, meaning a MCS certificate couldn’t be issued and delays accessing feed-in tariffs.
• The incorrect car charger was installed despite the order being confirmed 2 days prior to installation.
• The contract was incorrect regarding the number of panels installed and took at least 5 requests to have Deege correct it.
• The referral fee (Deege were recommended by a friend) of £125 was not offered and needed to be requested 6 times.
• The handover pack did not contain an electrical safety certificate from the subcontractor who worked on the consumer unit. This needed to be requested several times.
• Deege were very proactive at demanding payment before the work was anywhere near complete, despite multiple and clear emails to them that payment would be made when they had completed the work.
• Compensation was offered for the multitude of delays, errors and stress Deege caused of a grand sum of £150 plus the cost of the lost generation of electricity.
Avoid this company and use someone competent and reputable.
Avoid, avoid, avoid!!
Honestly, I have never known such bad customer service. This company has clearly struggled with the epic demand for Solar given the ongoing energy crisis, but that is no excuse for taking on customers and consistently letting them down. Sincere advice is to avoid at all costs!
Initial quotation and contract experience by Rod was fantastic, excellent communicator and advisor. Sadly that is where the positives end for this company.
Contract agreed and signed in June 2022 then came the delays/excuses/out right ignored. Installation delayed multiple times, often Deege didn’t even bother to tell me. I would call them on the day of agreed install (as no one would arrive) to be told “yeah sorry, the installers aren’t coming”. The admin team are beyond useless, seriously you need to hire some competent staff.
When the install did take place, what an utter joke of a service!! Arguably dangerous wiring, cables taped to downpipes!? Holes left in walls and messy cable runs.
3 months on of remedial work, and further no-shows of engineers/installers the system is finally in and working. Even after all the dramas do you think there is even an acknowledgment of bad customer service? No. A further 2 months chasing MCS certification etc.
Honestly, if you choose this company you will spend hours chasing them with phone calls and emails to which they won’t reply unless of course asking for payment…you will sacrifice multiple days off work waiting for installers that never arrive. Be warned. Don’t fall for the glossy website and social media posts/reviews like I and so many others have…

I can happily say my install is now finished and fully working I’ve got 20 panels and a Solaredge system with a Eddi installed it’s been working for a few months now with no problems
Although I was pushed back I’m extremely happy with everything overall

Having searched the market for a good solar installation company, we finally put our trust in Deege Solar to install our batteries and inverter. Although our installation date was changed due to the high demand, they were very apologetic and kept me informed throughout.
Mick the Engineer was professional and worked hard throughout the day. My system is up and running and working well.

I had a solar panel system with battery…
I had a solar panel system with battery and ev car charger installed recently and i cannot recommend Deege Solar enough. From my initial enquiry, Rod was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Within a couple of hours after speaking with Rod i received a detailed quote and design with all the spec sheets for the panels and batteries recommended. The attention to detail from Rod made it very simple to understand. This and the friendly non pushy manor helped me decide that Deege were who I would use.
After paying my deposit i was given an installation date which was met. The installers arrived on time in a Deege van (not subbies), I was told what work they would be carrying out and when, which they completed in a timely manor. I am impressed with how the panels look with the battery and inverter installed neatly in my garage.
Overall i am very impressed with the whole team and would definitely recommend.

After speaking to numerous companies we decided to put our trust in Deege in what was a large investment for us. Rod gave us the most confidence due to his knowledge and patience with our many questions. Although we had to have our installation date moved a couple of times Chloe from their head office kept us in the loop due to our battery not being available when expected.
I have to say that the end result we are very happy with, the chaps doing the install were polite, neat and tidy.
Our system is up and running and we cant believe the savings we are making even at this time of year.
So thank you Deege we would definitely recommend.

Iv just had a 16kwh system installed with a 6.5 kWh grow watt battery storage and I’m best pleased with the company communication and the installation it’s self a massive thanks to the installers very professional.
