Expensive but cheap all around.
Bought my son a expensive named brand pair of shoes thinking it will definitely last until he grows out of it in a year. In about 6 months the velcro stopped working all together and the shoes started to fray and Crack/rip with very little use. After contacting head office I just got a computerized responsed saying "thank-you we care about your opinion blah blah blah". my son has 3 other pairs of shoes all in better condition and all cheaper. He has to switch shoes all day depending where he is. Daycare, school or at home. So they aren't used outside and the bottom rubber is still perfect as the rest of the shoe has fallen apart.

Este pasado 29/06 hice una compra de 2 zapatillas por la web. Hice e pago con tarjeta y me cobraron los 2 pares.
Al cabo de 1 semana llega el mensajero con tan solo 1 par de zapatillas. Reviso el pedido de la web y veo que el envío de unas zapatillas ha sido cancelado.
Me pongo en contacto con atención al cliente de DC y les explico lo sucedido a lo que me responden que es un problema de stock.
Básicamente se quedaron sin unidades disponibles durante el proceso de compra. Pero que no debería preocuparme porque: cito textualmente "Lamentablemente tu artículo ya no está en stock.
Te pedimos disculpas por las molestias.
Como sólo facturamos en el momento del envío, el importe de este artículo no se ha cobrado."

Winter boots SENECA failed - Plastic piece error design
I have to say that the shoes are almost three years old but one of the plastic pieces broke on the fifth day of use. They are alternative winter boots to my Panama Jack that I only use on cold days and when the others are wet.
Bought at WSM Oldenburg (Germany), good personal treatment but no one has taken responsibility. The condition of the shoes is perfect.

After that, I am using these shoes way often. The left one is failing as well, not in the same point but splitting at the seam, where the orange plastic piece is sewn.

Absolutely awful. Sent in a return over a month ago, nothing since. No refund, no anything. Customer service is non existent. Provided tracking number information, everything I needed, was basically told to get bent.

Customer care is non existent. They give you a discount code for signing up. It comes off your order then they try to sneak it back on just as you’re about to click confirm order. No one replies on messenger and then if you try to email it just says “try sending your message again” Total time wasters. Glad I dodged a bullet. Plenty of other manufacturers that have a decent level of customer care
You have to be less "sustainable
You have to be less "sustainable, resilient, vegan and inclusive" and bring back the old quality. I was a big fan of DC shoes, i had mor then 20 pairs. My very first pair of DC Pure least mor then 5 years! And now? The quality is so bad. Pair least at least few months. Poor quality materials and my last order had one show few a half cm. Larger then other.

Ever since quick silver bought the company it has been trash. The shoe quality is way way down. No breathable material. Customer service is a joke. Can't cancel an order EVER. the shoe prices are the highest around. Cancel orders without saying anything. I have nothing good to say after being an amazing customer for multiple years.

In the past i have been very critical of this company due to the issues with brexit and their complete lack of customer services, however, recently, like many of you I am a lover of their gear and thought i'd give them the benefit of the doubt and here's my opinion. I've bought a number of items in a couple of seperate orders over the past month or so and on a whole things have improved. For clothing which can be delivered from their UK distribution channels things are fast and i'm receiving orders in a matter of days however things coming from their brussels distribution centre are alot slower but not months like before. Thankfully, i've not had to call or contact their customer services so i can't comment on that but on a whole i feel there are some improvements which is allowing me the confidence in purchasing the merch again..

I wish I had checked trustpilot before buying from these amateurs. Placed order on the 22/7/22, website states delivery in 7 to 10 days. It’s been almost two weeks now and my order is yet to be handed to the courier.
It took multiple emails to get a repose from their pathetic customer service who ignored my question and simply told me to keep an eye on my tracking number despite not even having one. Buy from these clowns at your own risk. I certainly will never buy from them again.
Edit to add update: still not received my order. Contacted courierDPD who informed me they have not been given my parcel/order, that they have only received the shipping details to date. Have tried contacting DCshoes via their website and social media platforms, all of which have been ignored. Even tried ringing the phone number on their website +44 808 164 1432 (video recorded this for evidence) several times and you just get cut off. Will now be contacting trading standards and my banks fraud dept

They cancelled my order because the item was "out of stock". I called the very next day to speak with a customer service representative who confirmed that the item was not out of stock and I could replace my order. I was offered a 30% discount code for my inconvenience. The only problem is, I used a 30% discount code that I found by searching on Google for my original order which means they were offering me a 30% discount for my inconvenience which is actually a discount that anyone who does a Google search has access to. This company is a joke!
