The skirt I ordered came up small
The skirt I ordered came up really small. I emailed to ask if they could offer me an exchange, they said they don’t offer that service, so I asked if I could be given free delivery if I reorder the skirt because I had already ordered 2 sets of shoes on my previous order. They said they don’t offer that service either and if I wanted the skirt in a bigger size, I would have to reorder and pay delivery.
I just think the attitude of the customer representative was quite poor and i just think it’s a small geature to ask. I paid delivery on my initial order and had the skirt arrived and fitted, i would have kept it.
I wouldn’t order from them again. There are plenty of other dancewear shops that provide better customer service and offer exchanges if something isn’t the correct size, so that’s be more inclined to go with them next time

Dear Simi
I am sorry you are not happy with our service. We offer a 28 day no quibble returns policy to allow customers time to try on their goods when they have been delivered and return them with a free Royal Mail returns label if they don't fit. The goods are then refunded. We are aware that other companies offer free exchanges but as we aim to keep our prices as low as possible we do not add those costs on to our products to cover this.
easy returns
Really quick delivery service and beautiful quality items. Dance Direct returns also was really easy to do too.

Very pleased with the service from Dance Direct. I recently bought mens 1st position leather jazz shoes with a suede sole. I wasn't certain which size would fit me so bought two sizes as their staff suggested. It cost no extra in postage and I was assured the return would be free. Can't ask any more than that! The shoes are a close and comfy fit with a very low heel - just what I was looking for as a relative beginner where fit was more important than technical shoes for me. Thank you very much.

Bigger than stated in size chart
Size chart on the website does not reflect the size sent out. One of the sizes offered not on the chart under the same title of size. Cannot advise on sizes just refer you back to the inaccurate chart. Refund offered but would have liked to be able to get the right size from the outset.

Svar från Dance Direct
Dear Mrs Wood
I am sorry that the sizing was not accurate. The manufacturers all work to different sizing standards and we publish their sizing charts to try to help you get the correct size but are aware that this does not guarantee a perfect fit. It is not possible to help with sizing over the phone or by email as each person is different and the team cannot help remotely. We offer a 28 day no quibble returns policy to allow customers time to try on their goods when they have been delivered and return them with a free Royal Mail returns label if they don't fit.
I hope you managed to get the right size in the end.
Great price and excellent communication.
