The coverage options are good if you don’t mind the price increases each year
The coverage options are good, though as my e-bike ages my plan cost seems to noticeably keep increasing each year.

The registration process for my bicycle…
The registration process for my bicycle was straightforward and efficient. While it offers a limited probability of recovering your bicycle in the event of theft, any chance of recovery is preferable to none.

The worst customer experience of my life
I’ve given Cycleplan one star because you can’t choose zero!
Shocking experience. Terrible customer service.
I’ve had a policy with them before with no problems. This time was very different.
I was unable to finish the claim online as we’d been victim of a burglary about 6 months ago. I gave all of the details over the phone instead, including that no bikes were taken and that they were stored in a separate garage.
I was quoted the same price as the internet. The advisor then said they needed to speak to someone else. At no point was I given the impression that this would be a high risk policy having held home and car insurance for over 30 years and only this recent claim.
If it was to have been questionable in any way I wouldn’t have proceeded for a £48 a year policy. I was not informed until I was told the underwriter was declining to insure. No doubt this now has to be declared for all future insurance.
At no time were relevant details obtained regarding me, my property, security measures etc.
Absolutely shocking. Please, please think twice about using this company.
