I was totally lost trying to register my Northern Irish import after the NCTS completely blocked me over a company name on the V5C logbook. I was trapped in an endless loop of public sector bureaucracy and had no idea how to get the customs clearance letter Revenue was demanding.I contacted the team at CustomsDeclarations.ie and Natasha was an absolute godsend. She took complete control of the situation, understood the post-Brexit rules perfectly, and secured my official Revenue customs clearance letter in a matter of days.Professional, fast, and brilliant communication throughout. Absolute cowboy of an organisation. Took my money and proceeded to acuse me of lying about the fee I paid for the van I was trying to clear which was absolutely nothing to do with them. Avoid avoid avoid. Another middle man in Ireland that is not needed. Then wouldn't issue a refund. Welcome to Ireland

Thank you for your feedback. The reviewer's name doesn't match the name we have on file, but we've been able to identify the case this relates to and would like to set out the circumstances.
As a licensed customs agent, we're legally required to ensure that every declaration is supported by appropriate documentation and reflects an accurate declared value. In this case, the vehicle — a 2018 Citroën Berlingo — was declared at £700, while the cheapest comparable 2018 Berlingo we could find advertised on AutoTrader at the time was £3,000. Given that difference, we requested standard supporting documents before submitting the declaration.
The transport document stated that the vehicle had been collected from Copart, a UK vehicle auction house, so we asked the customer for the corresponding Copart invoice along with proof of payment. Instead of providing it, the customer asked to change the transport document to show the vehicle had been collected elsewhere. We advised against this and would not amend documentation under any circumstances.
As customs agents, we can only submit declarations that are properly supported, and we were not in a position to proceed on that basis. We'd also note that communications with our staff became abusive during this process, which we don't feel was warranted. We understand the situation was frustrating, and we did offer a resolution before this review was posted. We hold ourselves to a high standard — reflected in our 650+ 5 star reviews— and we're sorry we couldn't reach an outcome that worked for you on this occasion.

Seamless process and quick.
Seamless process to get the customs and vat paid on my UK imported car. Once I submitted the order online, Paula was quick to pick it up and with just a short few emails and a couple of forms, we were all done.
