We used Cunningtons for sale and purchase and found their service excellent. The whole team were efficient, professional and did exactly what they said they would do. Out of the whole chain, we definitely had the best solicitors.

Attentive and accurate.

My experience although ultimately got me to a satisfactory conclusion was beset with issues relating, in my view, to a Company purchase of my house and not an individual. As such, their timetable for complete was driven by want not need and ultimately added to my costs (utility and additional property taxes) associated with a long drawn out process.

As my appointed lawyer I feel that I should have been warned about the risk of this. If I had my time again I would have gone with a private (individual) buyer.

Also, and this seems custom and practise these days, the acknowledgement email to my emails, which was not a reply, clogged up my inbox making reading and responding cubmbersome.

Otherwise excellent.

Absolutely shocking! Can honestly say worst experience ever. It made moving house (what is already a stressful experience) a million times worse ! and more stressful! The whole team left, could never reach anyone by phone or email, no one ever called back or responded to my queries, ever! I even had to change solicitors on the back of the appalling level of service for the purchase of my new house. Currently going through complaint procedure with Ombudsman to address the poor level of service. Beware! and avoid at all costs when moving house.

Felt very supported by Gemma, process was unfortunately bumpy but Gemma kept me updated and worked hard for solutions and really worked against the clock in the end. Gemma's efforts were greatly appreciated.

Great service from start to finish. Easy to use portal for updates, which was always kept up-to-date. I was a nervous customer as I’d had a previous bad experience but Charlotte understood that and was reassuring as a result. No plans to move again but, if I did, I’d not hesitate to use the firm again.
