Cozymeal Omdömen 

Been waiting over 2 weeks to talk to customer support. Online chat you wait for over 4 hours while it says you're the 1st in queue. If you get connected it's either AI or the person has no clue and even less desire to help. If you call a girl name Rhoda or Rhonda answer and she put you in silent and leave you hanging until you disconnect (happened 3 times, not just once). Then you get a phone call from somebody asking for a good review... And of course it won't even cross her mind to answer the question you had. So here's the good review.

There's way better and more professional services out there. Not recommended

Melissa was wonderful!! If we could give her 10 stars, we would! It was a fantastic experience that she made it feel special. The dish was delicious and we can't wait to try and make it again. Would highly recommend!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with CozyMeal.

For my bachelorette party, we booked and paid for a private cooking class with a chef coming to our home. CozyMeal confirmed our booking and assigned us a chef, but on the day of the event he simply never showed up. We tried contacting him repeatedly without success, leaving our entire group waiting with no information or support.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, and the no-show completely disrupted and ultimately ruined a major part of the day. It is unacceptable that a company would assign a chef who is so unreliable and then leave customers without any immediate solution.

Based on this experience, CozyMeal appears to have inadequate vetting and oversight of the chefs they work with. Customers should be able to trust that if an event is confirmed and paid for, the assigned chef will actually arrive or that the company will provide prompt assistance if something goes wrong.

I cannot recommend CozyMeal based on this experience and sincerely hope they improve their quality control and customer support so that no one else has an important event spoiled like ours.

Do Not Use Cozymeal — Not a Cooking Class and No Real Customer Support

I booked Cozymeal’s “Chef Rick / Latin Cuisine Made Easy” experience as a birthday event for my wife. It was advertised as a hands-on cooking class where we would create a four-course Latin-inspired meal with instruction. That is not what happened.

There was essentially no hands-on cooking. My wife and I repeatedly asked how we could help, and the only participation we were given was washing lettuce and chopping a small amount of pepper. There was no meaningful instruction, no real teaching, and very little engagement.

The ingredients were also very disappointing for the price. Store-bought tortilla chips were used despite the menu advertising homemade chips. The carne asada was supposed to include chimichurri, but it was seasoned with store-bought seasoning from a jar and no actual chimichurri was prepared.

I contacted Cozymeal immediately with detailed feedback. After delays, they refused to refund the booking and offered only a 15% gift card toward another Cozymeal experience, which is useless because I would never use them again.

This was an awful experience and Cozymeal did not stand behind it. I would strongly recommend avoiding this platform.

Ich habe eine Tour in Paris gebucht, die aber nicht stattgefunden hat. 15 Minuten vor der angegebenen Zeit 11.00 Uhr waren wir am vorgegebenen Treffpunkt. Leider empfand ich keinen Guide für die von uns gebuchte und bezahlte Tour zuständig. Um 11.15 Uhr haben wir den Treffpunkt verlassen. Nach einer Reklamation kamen dann noch Mails, wo wir uns der Tour noch anschliessen könnten. Als älteres Ehepaar hatten wir keine Lust durch eine uns fremde Gegend, um noch den Rest der Tour mitmachen zu können. Für die bezahlten EUR 267,98 konnten wir nur die Luft an der Metrostation Anvers, Metrolinie 2, FR, 75018 Paris genießen. Nie mehr im Leben werde ich eine Tour über Cozymeal buchen.

DO NOT USE COZYMEAL!! This company is extremely unprofessional and has terrible customer service. We had a chef cause a serious incident requiring over $1000 in damages to the kitchen. The company has handled this with absolutely no urgency or professionalism. The chef was inappropriate and hostile with no effort from the company to compensate for damages. We are waiting for word back on the situation, but the company has been giving us the run around for 10 days with no communications from a manager or owner despite us being promised multiple times that they would get back to us the next day. We will be proceeding with legal action and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau due to the severity of the situation and the lack of action from the company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY'S SERVICES.

I booked The Art of Homemade Tamales with Chef Karen for my daughter's birthday. She accepted and then just before the event she sent a message that she had "overlooked our booking" and that she wasn't available. Without consulting us, she switched the confirmed reservation to another date. We had invited guests and it was impossible to find anyone else at that point. I will never use their service again.

My wife and I were really looking forward to this experience. This was to be our special anniversary celebration, taking the place of a night at Anniversary Inn or a fancy dinner at Franck's, so I planned it out weeks in advance. I had contacted the site admins with some questions when I was considering signing up for a Cozymeal experience, and they went the extra mile to check with Chef Luis and create a special one-off meal experience for us to sign up for.

Unfortunately, the night before the scheduled meal, Chef Luis sent a brief message to say he wasn't available the day of our class, and it would be canceled. I didn't notice that message in the app, so thankfully he also sent a text message the next morning.

This was a huge disappointment for us--it was the only day in November that we could arrange for someone else to watch our 5 kids so we could enjoy time alone. And now it was too late to make any other special arrangements, so we just ended up going to the movies.

My wife was really upset: "If I could give negative stars, I would. They cancelled at the last minute for no reason. There was no explanation, no attempt to reschedule. The chef just cancelled the night before. This was supposed to be our anniversary celebration and instead it was a total letdown. I would never schedule with them again."

I recognize the day we chose (Black Friday) may not have been the most convenient, but the website showed that Chef Luis was open for classes, and he accepted the booking more than 6 weeks in advance. He really could have been a lot more proactive about checking his schedule, or at least more considerate in how he went about cancelling.

I'm giving 2 stars because our money was refunded without any difficulty, and I appreciate the added effort from Cozymeal to try to accommodate my questions and request for a slightly customized dinner. I just wish we could have had the experience we were so looking forward to.

Barbara was amazing! We had so much fun taking her class. Along the way we picked up local ingredients that we then used. The ravioli's we made were delicious, the addition of lemon zest was a game changer. We're inspired to try making them again at home! Alongside cooking tips we also got to hear about how Venice has changed over the years and local recommendations (including the best spot for gelato!). As we did this early in our trip we found her recommendations and advice very helpful in planning some of our later activities. Thanks so much Barbara! We highly recommend this experience. And please give your cat a little extra snack from us, we loved meeting him!

We had a fantastic experience with Chef Akamai! The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful and cooked to perfection right in front of us. But what really made the night special was the energy he brought. Chef Akamai created an engaging, interactive experience that had everyone — from kids to grandparents — laughing and fully engaged!

Chef Shahida was absolutely fantastic. She made the whole experience so fun, and we learned so much. Our pasta turned out amazing, and she explained everything in a way that made it easy to remember and actually use later. If you ever get the chance, invite Chef Shahida into your kitchen—you’ll learn skills you’ll use forever, and you’ll have such a great time doing it.

Really fun and comfortable experience taking a cooking class here. The class is in a converted house, which makes for a really interesting space that can accommodate cooking, a dining area, and plants and an outdoor garden that provide some of the ingredients you cook with! We took the Distinctive Tastes of Thailand class - food was delicious, and I appreciated learning about each individual ingredient and how it contributes to the recipe. I'm not much of a cook, but I felt at ease and empowered in the class, and came away with a some new skills, knowledge and recipes in my arsenal.

Had a wonderful experience booking through Cozymeal! The process was seamless and the class itself was amazing — Chef Paul made Korean cooking so approachable and fun. We learned to make Gimbap and Bibimbap from scratch, with great hands-on demos and tips. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated how accommodating he was. Would definitely book again through Cozymeal for another class!

Four of us (two couples) found Chef Li through Cozymeal, and signed up for her "Chinese Soup Dumplings" cooking class. It was excellent! Chef Li was engaging, fun, and clearly loves to to teach and even just to talk about cooking. We brought our own wine, and Chef Li provided everything else. We did the class at Chef Li's home, which is very nicely set up for small cooking classes like ours. The preparation was loads of fun, the food was delicious, a great time was had by all -- and we all agreed that we will take more Cozymeal cooking classes with Chef Li.

A great experience with options to go to a chef's kitchen or to have one come to your home! If you enjoy cooking or want to try something different, this is definitely a good option!

This was our first time taking a cooking class and it was a wonderful experience! The Chef was amazing, we really enjoyed ourselves, and the food was delicious!!

Me and my husband did a Thai cooking class with Carmela and had a really wonderful time. She was very knowledgeable and made the experience so much fun. Also, everything was extremely clean and done safely. We definitely plan on doing more cooking classes with her.
