Change of price for pre booking a pure cremation
We were told that we would qualify for a promotional rate. We were not contacted for an appointment for several weeks following our Initial booking request.
I contacted coop twice to chase up the appointment.
On the day of our meeting to purchase our funerals we were told that the promo price was not available

Thoroughly recommended.
Very easy process to set up funeral plans online for my wife and myself. The coop had handled my Mums funeral a short while back and everything was handled very professionally and with real care hence the reason we decided to use the coop for our own plans.

Straightforward and friendly
I recently set up a Direct Cremation Plan for my stepfather. He has dementia and I am his Court of Protection appointed Deputy. I had been meaning to do this for a while and was anticipating that it may be difficult. In fact, the process was very straightforward and the person I spoke to very friendly and helpful, and took time to explain everything.

I used the Chatham Branch
I used the Chatham Branch. Angie the lady who helped me arrange my sisters funeral was very knowable helpful and made us feel at easy. This was a sudden death for the family and it was harder for us to take in. But Angie and her crew where brilliant. I have used the branch a few times in the last few years. This was the second one this year. The gentleman Robin who conducted the service for us was also very caring. I cannot fault them at all it was done with a lot of care and respect for us and the departed. Melissa Barnett my sister was buried on the 16th September 2026 a fine day. We had a Tigger theme funeral for her and a wake with Tiggers everywhere. Thank you Co-op for all you did for the family.
