The online process of booking a pre-arranged funeral was easy and comparing prices with competitors for Coop members was competitive.

Fiona (hedge end branch) helped us to put together the perfect send off for our dad.she guided us through every aspect the process ,I had never arranged a funeral before everyone was so helpful and patient and kind .would highly recommend.

The information I received was explained in a way that was easy to understand,I chose a plan that was right for me the gentleman who sold me the plan gave me plenty of time to think about it answered all my questions in great detail i am very happy with the service i received would recommend to family and friends.

Please don’t use this company. I paid £900 on 24 April 2026 for my relative’s funeral before realising there were sufficient funds in her bank Acct and that Nat West would pay them when presented with the funeral company’s invoice. I explained this to the coop who advised no problem, gave me the invoice and said they would reimburse me for my payment asap. The funeral was on 15 May 2026. It is now 21 July annd after about a hundred e mails back and forth reassuring me they will refund - they still have not done so with different excuses every time. The last one being today asking me to confirm payments made? It is hard to get them to answer the phone and they will not provide the name or contact details of someone senior at head office for me to liaise with. I think the company is very poorly run and dishonest to be frank and therefore would strongly suggest to using an alternative. It’s a stressful time and you want honesty, diligence and kindness.

Awful staff (esp Debbie!) and service at Coop Littlehampton Funeralcare. Can you imagine promising a family they could carry the coffin, only to revoke it? Can you imagine exploiting a vulnerable daughter? Who do these people think they are? Morally repulsive. I'm sure the national press will take an interest after their own CEO left due to bullying in recent months. Awful!

Organising lady was excellent, serious when required but kept the session pleasant and relatively light hearted.QQQ

Could not of received better care . Our loved one was so obviously well cared for as was the whole family. Our loved one had pre arranged and paid for his funeral which made everything so much less stressful at such an emotional time . Paul and Amanda both offered lots of support and guided us with comparison and empathy at all times. Could not fault any part of the service that was given at all times.
Thank you to all the staff team who so very obviously took great care of our loved one .

I decided to take out a Funeral Plan for my mum who has Alzheimer’s. I was a bit nervous about doing this as it’s a lot to think about. Matilda was very kind and helpful and took her time explaining all the options. It’s a relief knowing that something as important as a funeral will be taken care of when the time comes.

We were met by a very pleasant adviser, everything explained thoroughly, taken through step by step. Enjoyable experience.

Finally got to talk to someone who answered my queries....nut had to chase as the earlier promised callbacks did not happen

It was so easy to buy a funeral plan,and now have peace of mind. Co-op recently dealt with the passing of my dear wife and did an excellent job.
