I apologize that the cookies seemed hard and stale. We do bake them to be a little more done so that they will hold together on the sticks. So this is how we bake all of our counter style cookies. We bake everything fresh for delivery so they should have been fresh for you when they arrived. Again I apologize and please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. Thank you.
The cookies were not being delivered to a patient
I have no idea how the birthday gift box of cookies was because FedEx apparently didn't deliver them to the right address, as there is no one on staff at the Buffalo VA Medical Center with the name of the person who signed for them.
The cookies were not being delivered to a patient, so I hope whoever got them, enjoyed them. My daughter works at the VA as a supervisor in the Mental Health department.
Jeff Fonner doesn't work in the mail room he works in the warehouse and why didn't he take the initiative to get the delivery made? I'm done with this, Just give me a refund

I will track this for you as we do have a signature and should be able to find out where this was delivered. Most of the time they are signed for by someone in the mail room and we are able to get them to the recipient quickly if they have not already been delivered. I will reach out to you on Monday as soon as we track the package down.
Quick Update:
I just got a hold of the hospital and they were able to find the person who signed for it. They said he would call me back shortly and that the package should have been delivered to the patients room. I can't confirm that yet but that is what I was told. As soon as I talk to the person who signed for it I will have a clearer answer.
Update,
Oh then I should be ale to get them to here today if she works there and is not a patient. I will call them again right now and let them know the updated info.
I just spoke to the mail room and it was signed by Jeff Fonner.

I do not know why he did not take them to her or at least take them to someone who could. I have been on the phone all day trying to get them delivered. The hospital received them on Wednesday and with plenty of time to deliver them to her that day. The hospital is responsible to make the final delivery to her because we are only allowed to deliver to a mail room or warehouse where they accept FedEx delivery's. There is no reason for him not to have done his job and gotten them to her. I have talked to the head of the mail room and he is working on getting the package delivered today.

Transaction went smoothly. I appreciated the phone call I received to verify recepiant and ship to. I only sampled the chocolate chip cookie. It tasted good, not great. It could’ve been softer and had more flavor for my liking.
