Cristian, one of the maintenance engineers, always fixes issues in the apartment very promptly, he's very helpful!

Absolute disgrace. Paid a holding deposit and agreed to X amount per month. However, the agent called later saying that the landlord wants to add £5 per week. Not sure if it is actually the landlord or the agent's idea.

Was also told that the landlord is unlikely to accept the original offer (even though I have already paid the holding deposit).

Had to go with the new offer as I was in a rush.

It is not a big sum of money afterall, but it is a disgusting business practice that they are doing

I would avoid renting with them

Manager is lying it never had two fridges and freezers

Avoid this corrupted agency at all costs! I’ve been a tenant of there nearly coming to a year they provided no working fridge or freezer and now trying to do a claim against me even when I tried to communicate with them they ignored it after 6 months engineer who confirmed it needs replacing in month 4 and they still did nothing and now they trying to liar and get money from me even if they broke the contract on the first month I obtain the rental room. Honestly worst experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been in house shares more then 7 years. Do not give them any money! Awful people and awful service! Avoid! Update this bum of a manager has never visit property there was never two fridges and freezes they are pure fraudsters give it large but never say anything on phone in person karma will get your company. Taking money out my acc without consent!

I never new it was legal for Tommy to put money in my account for me to get property not even mention reposit who have stole money from my account! Corrupted agency avoid at all costs they mislead you and don’t even tell you what your signing up for. Scammers! Police have been reported!

Oh yeah I did try communicate several times several months they did nothing! Absolutely liars and the manager/owner is biggest coward I’ve ever seen!

Be careful they are scammers, say goodbye to your deposit, don’t rent from them will be a nightmare.

City rooms are the best, I've viewed and confirmed their apartments, it's affordable luxury and clean apartments, don't be scared about your holding deposit, if it doesn't work the way you planned, they can refund if the fault is not from you, this is the best ever. Agent PABLO did a selfless service to guide me through the process, he's a wonderful guy indeed.

They are thieves. The billing estimate they gave me was 50% less than what they said the actual bill was after I moved out. Thereby making me lose part of my deposit. They do this intentionally so their apartment looks cheaper

Had Tommy, one of the letting agents, handling my case. If you’re looking for someone who’s reliable, empathetic and likeable then I highly recommend him. If and when I decide to vamos again, he’s the guy I’ll be going to.

Pablo was very professional. He helped us to complete our rental agreement within 2 hours on the same day, immediately after watching the virtual room tour. The room was very clean and tidy, and exactly matched our expectations. I recommend Cityrooms as a reliable estate owner and rental service company in London.

It was my first time in London and i didn't have much time to search for appropriate place, but i contacted Casendra and although i needed a room in a very short time and needed it for Also a short period, she managed to get me one.
She was always checking on me, whenever i contact her even in her weekend she answers and was genuinely helpful till the end.

I tried to rent a room from those guys but luckily I smelled the bs on time to avoided disappointment later. The way they were trying to get me to give then the initial secure deposit, was just like looking to apply crackhead when they try to collect money for their daily dose.

They are really incompetent in terms of maintenance, our bathroom is leaking for six months and they didn't fix it and when they did, it was again leacking.

I would first like to commend Anu, for her outstanding services. She is the first point of call at City Rooms, and she is always polite and helpful on the phone. She is the perfect go between, for connecting you with the agents, aswell as providing the necessary information required whilst they are unavailable.
Alessandro, does a fantastic job managing the office, his busy schedule and staff, yet always making the time, to adhere to every customer query. He is a genuinely good, and kind person, and will go above and beyond to come to the right solution for you.
Raberta is a super agent. Multifaceted, able to liaise with her clients, whilst promptly having all the necessary photos and information of each property, at the back of her hand.
She is patient, kind and willing to assist you through the application process, despite her daily hectic schedule of office meetings, daily bookings and viewings, aswell as other adhoc duties. She does her best to find the right property or an alternative solution if need be.
I have truly enjoyed my short encounter with each of them, and will recommend them highly.

Cityrooms is London’s most disgraceful rental agency. The property I live in is constantly stained with urine and faeces because they have rented a top-floor room to a disabled tenant.

The communal hallway and staircase are filled with the unbearable stench of urine and faeces, making the entire house unlivable. I have felt physically sick multiple times over the past six months since August 2024, yet despite numerous complaints, nothing has been done.

The attached photos show the latest incident of faeces on the carpet. Even worse, the air freshener we bought to help with the smell has now been smeared with faeces as well.

City rooms are very helpful in me moving into my room especially Tommy 10/10!!!!

My agent, Pablo, did a wonderful job helping me find a new home. The contract process was clear and well-documented, with detailed explanations provided at every step. Despite being an international student with complicated circumstances, I felt fully supported throughout the entire process. On top of that, he not only assisted me in settling into my new home but also helped finalise the contract for my previous residence. Overall, I had a very satisfying experience with Cityrooms:)

Pablo was quite helpful throughout the process. He advised us and was readily available to help in every step of the way. I would highly recommend him.

Only living a star because I have to in order to leave a review. But this was by far the worst place I could ever decide to live in and the worst agency EVER. They are careless, all they care about is money.
I have so many proofs of how bad their service is that I am reluctant if I should open a small claims, either way, if I could recommend you anything, stay away! You will just stress yourself, not get what you are worth (at the moment I haven't received my deposit for over 3 YEARS).

From the beginning of my tenancy until the very end all they did was cause me mental distress! Please avoid this at all cost! Please! I do not want you to experience what I had experienced with them! Their behaviour and the way they handle things is disgusting! All my roommates say the same! We always find ourselves chatting about the irresponsible, unreasonable, inappropriate, disgusting behaviour CityRooms do! Find somewhere else and avoid CityRooms! Please! If you care about your sanity, avoid this at all costs!

Do not rent with this disgusting agency, they are a scam, they will steal your money without transparency. Also of you call, they will close the phone in your face. Mass of incompetents. Needs to be taken to court as already happened on more occasions. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS AGENCY
