UPDATE 3: I read through other reviews of this company here on TrustPilot for the first time just moments ago. Tess Owen had a similar experience to mine earlier this year and the rationale they gave Tess for the lack of service was the same rationale they gave me (death related to company member). However our experiences were months apart. Perhaps it’s a coincidence. However the similarities are remarkable.

UPDATE 2: To respond to Cirtus Eyewear’s comment below: I received an email from the BBB stating « your BBB complaint has been sent to the business » on 12 September. Three hours LATER Citrus Eyewear contact me to arrange a refund. This is based on electronic email time stamps.

UPDATE: The day after contacting the BBB (and the day the BBB informed me they contacted Citrus Eyewear), Citrus Eyewear contacted me to arrange a refund for the products I did not receive. It took a couple of transactions (at first they only refunded the purchase and not the shipping charges). As of today, I have received a full refund from the company.

I ordered from this company on 04 July. I had to follow up multiple times to get shipping information. I was told my glasses would arrive by mid-August. They did not, I contact Citrus Eyewear and they did not respond so I contacted the shipping company. They said they were still waiting for the items from Citrus Eyewear and referred me to their customer service email. I have tried contacting them multiple times to request my money back (I still have not received my products and the shipping company’s website indicates they are waiting to pick up the package). They have not responded to or acknowledged any of my requests for a refund.

Terrible service. I would not recommend. I will be contacting the BBB - something I’ve never done.

Great googles for my sport. I'm a certified UC cycling instructor, master rider and cycling Tour guide in Italy. I've been under sun and under rain for miles and miles with no problems at all. The visuality always more than good specially when fast you're moving from light dark light. Quality, very light, good price. What else?

Der Übersee Versand lief etwas verlangsamt als nationaler Versand, aber völlig im Rahmen! Ich habe direkt drei Brillen bestellt und bin mit allen mega zufrieden. Die Rocket musste nach einer kleinen Diskussion mit meinem Schuh (bin draufgetreten ups) mit einer Zange wiederbelebt werden - ohne Probleme! Sehr robust!
Besonders bei Pausen lieb ich die zstealth -> egal wie warm egal wie hart, es beschlägt nichts!!!

Super lunette ! De qualité, durable, esthétique, au top pour m’accompagner sur mes sortie en montagne, un vrai confort en plus, la vue n’étant pas un aspect a négligé notamment dans le Trail ou la concentration doit être permanente sur des terrains technique. Je recommande grandement, citrus est une boite qui serra toujours disponible pour vous ! Foncez les yeux fermés 😎

These glasses are really high quality. I have a pair of the Cruisers and the Rockr. The build quality is excellent and the lenses are amazing. They fit really well for running with zero bounce.

They also come in really premium packaging. They do take a while to arrive as they're shipped from Canada. I think mine took 2-3 weeks (I'm in the UK)

Got my glasses from these guys everything was straight forward and simple not had an issue with them at all used evrytime I'm out on bike

I absolutely love my sunglasses that I received from citrus. They come with a second set of tinted lenses and even a clear set in case of rain. I use these on almost every run I do and can’t stop recommending them to friends. If you’re looking for a new set of sunglasses they are worth checking out!

I've been using Citrus glasses since 2021, and I rarely have a ride where I don't get complimented on them!

I have a pair of bright yellow Downhill glasses that are dark tinted and perfect for VERY sunny days, a pair of Visor glasses in blue/black that are my day-to-day cycling favorites, and am eagerly awaiting the arrival of a pair of their new Rockr glasses for running & hiking.

I have work experience in the startup world, so I know how much personal time, money, and effort goes into products like these. Any time I have a question or comment, their team is responsive and caring. I recommend their glasses to my family and friends all the time, and I think they are a great company.

I loved the pair of Rockr Sunglasses I purchased! They look great and don’t slip or bounce around when I’m running. They don’t scratch as easily as the Goodrs I have worn in the past. I’m looking forward to trying more styles. Friendly, legit company!

Hice un pedido hace más o menos un mes y al principio todo genial el seguimiento y todo pero ahora que no encuentro mi paquete... Ponía entregado cuando no era así ... Nadie se pone en contacto conmigo, ni me puedo poner en contacto con ellos ... Fatal todo ... Y sigo sin encontrar mi paquete ni la empresa de mensajería, ni citrus eyewear responden.. consejo no compres en esta empresa.

Hoy 31/7 por fin llega mi paquete, la empresa citrus eyewear en ningún momento hasta hoy, que ha respondido aa reseña, ha mostrado interés sobre qué pasaba con mi pedido, tuve que recurrir al consumidor y poner una reclamación ante la empresa de transporte en españa, zeleris nada recomendable, y 10 días después de poner entregado y sin noticias de nadie misteriosamente ha aparecido y además la empresa da señales de vida ... Sigo manteniendo solo una estrella pero he de decir que las gafas están muy bien y menos mal después de lo pasado ....

Update: June 27 I finally received the sunglasses, and they are actually really nice. So I'm upping this to two stars instead of one. The last communication received from their end was June 02, even though I repeatedly sent messages to them. I purchased the glasses mid April. The whole thing put a bad taste in my mouth. I don't know if their story about a death is real or not, or if they are even real or not because there is no accessible way to locate the name of a real person on their website or elsewhere, but I did get a pair of sunglasses in the end so I suppose I wasn't completely ripped off. Just the feeling of it for a couple of months.
Paid for a pair of running glasses, two months later have received nothing but the runaround and empty/no responses from the company. They claimed a death within the company caused the delay and that they resent, but that was two weeks ago and I've received no shipping information or obviously, the shades... or a refund. They are not responding to my emails or messages, and honestly I think it's pretty dirty for a company to use that kind of story to scam. There's no information about the people who run the company anywhere online, and local runners and race organizers from London Ontario (where they claim to operate from ) have no idea who they are either. They said their names are Roy (the CEO) and Andrew.... Roy and Andrew who? The address in their privacy policy points to some house in a neighbourhood. This is much shadier than their polarization.
I was really looking forward to trying new sunglasses to compare to the Goodrs I usually wear during my ultramarathons, but I can't get behind this kind of poor treatment of customers and potential ambassadors. They continue to post content from their instagram account so I am certain I am being ignored, repeatedly. I'm not sure what I did to deserve that but pay them for a pair of sunglasses. It would be great for them to send me the refund, perhaps I can update this review and not share my story/warning with my running connections.

Full disclosure - I am writing this review because Citrus reached out to me to write a review here. But these are my honest thoughts about the brand since I've been a partner for almost three years now.

I am a Cat 3 cyclist and I've been a partner of the brand since 2020. I'm highly impressed with their sunglasses and although my team has a deal with Oakley I use Citrus glasses during my training sessions and in events where I'm not representing my team. I'll say the Citrus Downhill glasses that I have are 99% of the Oakley's quality. Considering that they cost a fraction of the offerings from the much larger brand, I'll take the Citrus glasses in a heartbeat.

I've spoken extensively with the company's CEO and living in southern Ontario I've also visited their facility once. It's an amazing small team of honest and grounded individuals who come with a sporting pedegree and want to make the sport more affordable for everyone. Their glasses are great, but the people are even better.

The only gripe I've had with them (which is something I've discussed with them at length) is their inability to offer a 2-day shipping option outside the US. but considering this is effectively a small business we're talking about that offers free shipping on everything, I think I can live with that.

Citrus did tell me they have a 1 star review here from a person who doesn't feature as a customer on their database, so it's probably a competitor throwing shade at the brand since they cannot think of anything better. But my personal experience and everyone else from my local cycling club who've purchased from them have nothing but positive things to say about them.

Scam. They offer everyone an ambassadorship, and ship out cheap Chinese knockoff glasses. Some with other brands' names on them (like the CGR goggles). They are on amazon for $15, and their website for $100. Don't get scammed.

Don’t believe the comment below. Go to CGR sport’s Instagram page (photos from 2014, citrus started in 2020) look how it’s the same logo and goggles as the MX Night on Citrus’s website. CGR Sports doesn’t hide the fact that they are shipping chinéese goggles, Citrus does. They’re mad they got caught. I’m sure you could look up any of their generic designs and find chinéese examples that predate Citrus Eyewear.
