Ordered a CHUGG for a gift, great communication from the team while they were getting my order ready, shipped quickly, arrived beautifully packaged and ready to give! Great experience!

Trouble with delivery but not Chuug's fault. Had 100km round trip to collect the parcel
Items great, handle rope good for left hander but tends to flop a little in right hand which could compromise contents top ss lip could be little higher so mouth doesn't go onto the wood.
Happy with the items.

It’s a beast of a mug. The quality is immense and the drink somehow tastes better and makes the experience exactly that, an experience!

A unique drinking vessel made of wood, stainless steel, and rope. I've now purchased six of these as unique gifts. Each Chuug is individual and has its own character of timber tone, grain and colour. I could be nit picky and say that as a handmade product, the quality can be variable with inconsistent gaps around the lip and between the stainless steel insert and the timber outer. There are claims that it keeps a drink colder (or hotter) for much if any longer than anything used because I don't leave drinks lying around. The point of the Chuug is it is a unique drinking vessel that brings a smile to my face whenever I take it out of the cupboard to use it and that's the point of it.

Iv had my chuug for a couple months now and for the most part I love them I got a 2 pack one in black and one in dusk and both have minor flaws the dusk colored one the metal insert offers a fare amount of resistance to thread in and out short term I dont see this being a problem long term tho I fear for what may become of my favorite mug and the black colored mug the insert does not sit flush with the mug leavieng about a 1/4 inch gap on one side now I get that these mugs are hand crafted but for both have flaws and while I consider the above mentioned minor flaws and can over look them for the other pros the mug offers the quality control on these first 2 has me questioning if I should buy more or not so just be mind full of your purchases and deside for yourself if the little flaws add character or decrease value

Edit: im updating my review from 3 to 5 stars apon chuug seeing my review a representative of their company actively reached out to me to make things right and boy did they I now have two identical mugs to the ones I reviewed above and both more than exceed my expectations of my original purchase the customer service i experienced deffently removes all doubt I had their product and will have me comeing back for the other color ways

The cup is well made. I thought it would have a little more heft / weight to it. It was a gift so hopefully it holds up.

I bought a couple Chuug tankards a couple weeks ago. They are fantastic drinking vessels. I had a small issue with one of my tankards and they sorted it promptly. Will definitely be buying again.

Three of us ordered tankards for our LARP adventures, and we absolutely love them. What surprised me most is that I don't just use mine at events, I use it constantly at home too!

The build quality is outstanding. It's solid, durable, beautifully crafted, and feels like it will last for years. It quickly became my favorite mug.

I'm also considering getting a brass-colored insert for mine, cause why not. It's rare to find a product that exceeds expectations, but this one definitely did.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality wooden tankard!

The mug doesn’t keep cold drinks cold or hot drinks hot any better than any normal mug. Also, it doesn’t actually hold 24oz in the way a user would expect; 24oz fills it to the brim and actually overflows. Not really useful. It actually holds about 16-18oz in a useable way.

It’s a nice mug, but does not perform as advertised and is expensive for what it does do. I wouldn’t have bought it knowing what I know now. I’d like CHUUG to make their advertising more truthful.

UPDATE: CHUUG reached out to me and addressed my concerns. They also gave me a full refund which was totally unexpected but much appreciated. According to them, most customers have a better experience with the hot/cold problem than I did, and their capacity claim was an error due to miscalculation. They say they will be changing the capacity into going forward.

So, based on their customer service I’m amending my review; in MY CASE the mug was not worth the cost, but I may be an outlying case. It IS a very nice mug, looks lovely and the removable liner is super handy.
