Rubbish mystery box! NEVER AGAIN! It’s A con! NOT worth £40… So disappointed! … The photo shows drinks and biscuits and sweets and various cheeses as an example but I’ve got a load of same type cheese. I don’t like onion or cranberry but thought I might get either but I’ve got 3 onion type cheese & 2 cranberry. 2 old Christmas cheeses (we are in June) and a few pickle sauces. RUBBISH! Most of it’s going in the bin! Either this is a con job or your staff need serious training???

I recently placed an order, On completion of the order we requested it to be delivered on Wednesday 20th May, we stayed in all day but nothing arrived even though we had an email from Royal Mail confirming that delivery date. We then stayed in the following day but yet again no delivery and no further information from Royal Mail. The parcel eventually arrived today (Friday 22nd May) at 12.37 but as expected the product within the parcel was sitting way above the recommended storage temperature of 5*C and was actually above 20*C (there was one very small ice pack within the packaging)
I made a phone call on the 22nd May to lodge a complaint and request a full refund, only to be told this needed to be done by email, I proceeded to do this and sent an email on the same day. As yet I still haven’t received a reply, I have thrown £30 worth of cheeses out as I have not been informed whether they were safe to eat or not.
The least I expected was a polite reply and apology with some form of explanation on what the next steps were with dealing with this issue. I completely understand that you can’t totally control the delivery date, but this is your chosen courier and why give an option when checking out if you can’t guarantee that date.
I thoroughly enjoy your product but I just can’t make another purchase until you can guarantee a delivery date. I would also appreciate it if you could resolve my current issue.

I have ordered from them at least every couple of months since they started - every new cheese is delicious and the cream tea is my mums favourite but i have a soft spot for the limoncello. Always packaged well and ice packs for the cheeses so keeps cold for delivery. Prices are reasonable for artisan cheese and foods. I highly recommend the fudge as well, its a fab combo! I had the advent calendar this year and really enjoyed it! I will continue to order from this excellent company

Not great. When delivered a bottle of beer smashed and soaked everything. The cheese box was a gift and was soaked and inside had broken glass. It also had a cracked chutney jar. Pictures were sent over and evidence was given however they only replaced 1 beer. The packing was terrible with only the paper to protect the bottles where on to of the box. No where on the box stated handle with care.
Customer service was shocking to say the least and I won't be returning.

My third order from you and third time of problems. The first two orders arrived after my chosen delivery date, the third wasn’t handed over by Royal Mail as the jar of pickles had broken due to insufficient packaging. A replacement was arranged which thankfully was appropriately packaged and arrived on time as it was a birthday gift. Happy with products, recipients are delighted. Sort out packaging and delivery dates and ratings will improve.

Been buying this cheese wheel for a little while now. Myself and my feline companions have fallen madly for it and everyone thoroughly approves it.

I always have efficient service from this company.

This is a super cheesy business.
Excellent service and i can't resist my favourite which i won't mention here as it may sell out.

The service is very good and the special deals really help as they are not cheap but once you've tasted the difference you will understand why.

Stay clear from this company.

Product arrived awfully packaged for a food item especially in the heat.
Contacted customer services who were very unhelpful and contradictory on their response on how a product should be shipped.

No problem ordering again and again from this company fantastic service and products always nice.

Great Selection of Flavours, especially love the GIN and the Vintage Chedder. Really good quality and was delivered on requested date with cool packs, kept very fresh, can't wait to finish my current lot to re-order more flavours. Many Thanks.

I have bought a few of the Pub Gift boxes for a friend and family members in the last month for Birthdays as I thought of sending somthing to them which was different and at a good price. All of them have said they have loved it and it was nice surprise to have somthing different. Delivery was on time and also enjoyed by all

What a shame! My first order with Chuckling Cheese and was very excited to receive my order-which was a birthday present - only to be 5 DAYS LATE! Products are lovely, but delivery terrible.
Work on your customer service and stick to delivery dates Chuckling Cheese! 🧀

Fantastic products, good flavours, rapid despatch... but poorly handled by Royal Mail..48 hour delivery took 4 days

We keep ordering from The Chuckling Cheese so they must be doing something right. The cheeses are very tasty with a good and varied selection. The pickled onions we keep coming back to as well - 3 jars with each order. Customer service is helpful and efficient on the odd occassion I have had to contact them.

Easy to order, cheese arrived on time. Amazing se

Ordered 3 truckles & fantastic as usual.
Black pepper cheddar exceptional
Vintage cheddar superb

Ive made several orders over the last 2 years and have yet to be disappointed. Cheese is amazing. I buy hampers at Christmas as gifts and every family have all said the same that it’s banging. Definitely will buy again at every opportunity especially the mystery boxes which are amazing value for money with long dates! Winners 🥇

Super company, lovely cheeses & pickles - especially love the Mystery Box.- ordered one as a gift then HAD to order one for ourselves 😋

Excellent. I’ve now had several orders from the chuckling cheese company. I don’t buy from anywhere else nowadays. I even give cheese as birthday gifts! In theory I give the apple chutney too….. but it never actually gets that far as I love it and eat it with so many different things.
