Very thorough in their process. Easy payment set up and monthly reviews. It’s easy to pause the prescription if you need to but more importantly this product actually works. On the 14th October 2024 I was 16 stone 5.5lbs, the doctor advised me I was pre diabetic and I need to loose weight and change my diet. With the combination of a better diet (still have a beer or a glass of wine) and the mounjaro kwik pen I now weigh 13 stone 1lb (16th February 2025). This product has worked brilliantly for me and has without doubt made me a healthier person. It’s worth a try if you can afford it!

Was suggested by my doctor’s practice that I make a telephone appointment with CheckUp Health as they didn’t have a GP telephone appointments available at the surgery during that day.

I duly registered via the app, which took a few hours to do as my main ID was rejected a few times before finally being accepted (not sure what or why there was a problem).

Managed to book an appointment with CheckUp Health for later the same evening… this was great I thought, will be well on the way to recovery and feeling better soon.
Very pleasant and friendly doctor, called at the time booked so no complaints there. Very thorough conversation and pretty much concurred with what I thought was wrong with me… yippee, hopeful that I can now get some medication to help.

And it was at this point the system failed! The doctor then proceeded to instruct me to go to a walk in centre, or to my doctor’s practice, as “I needed to see someone”, or call 111 if I felt worse. Errrr… excuse me? I had literally been sent around in a circle to end up in the same place. I don’t feel well enough to drive myself anywhere, which is why I wanted a telephone appt in the first place!

So in short, CheckUp Health was no help at all for me. I’ll stick to calling my doctor’s practice at 8:30am and waiting in a telephone queue for 50+ mins to be just as disappointed at not being able to see or speak to a doctor who can help.

3 stars because the doctor was punctual and polite. Hoping the service is better for others and they get the help, treatment and medication they need.

Dr was extremely polite and took time to listen to me and explain the condition I have been diagnosed with. Nothing was too much trouble, and I would recommend the service to others

I was able to book a call for the following day it was made on time. I felt that the clinician treated my concerns with respect and a plan of action was agreed to my satisfaction. I was unaware prior to the call that this service was directly linked to my GP’s and I’m not sure how I feel about discussing my care an outside care provider. This information was not made clear by my GP practice. The main negative was the process of accessing the app and registering, I was given the impression it would be simple but in fact it was quite complicated and someone with less computer skills would have struggled and yet it was I given the option.

Really quick appointment and Dr Berty was so polite and knowledgeable. Apart the initial set up, which was dealt with by Katie, really lovely and helpful lady. I can fault it so far

Pointless service. The Dr was only able to collate information. They not allowed to do any referrals, further testing or provide advice. They were friendly but unhelpful.

This evening I had a lengthy conversation with a doctor about my health and recommendations for the future. It was an extremely pleasant experience. I had plenty of time, did not feel hurried and the doctor was able to answer all my questions. All round a good experience.

It was a very friendly and professional service. The doctor was waiting online at the exact appointment time which is really helpful when you have a busy life! It achieved what I needed and I can imagine using it for certain things but is clearly limited in the case of needing a physical examination. Would definitely recommend to friends and relatives.

I had a great experience with the doctor and the customer care team. I had challenges with my login and she was patient with me till I was able t go in and the doctor still waited for me. Thank you ad keep it up!!
