Was told I looked and typed like a previously banned person despite never using the site before
wannabe mods and admins that obviously have no experience of chatsites IF they did they mite no that many people chat and type In a similar way, it's clear that the place is run by nieve inexperienced people
So with no concrete evidence I was banned, not that they could have proof as I was a newbie user
All I can say is this site sucks big time
I wonder how many other users suffer the same unfair unsubstantiated treatment?

Im an older user this site caters for children basically despite describing itself as a 13+ site
checked out the popular rooms children in every direction its like a nursery here
All the staff are also children except one i noticed called GreyBeard a man nearing 40 that seems to enjoy the company of kids and weirdly still is a staff member himself all very weird if you ask me,looks like a guy on a wanted poster lmao
Anyways decided children as far as the eye could see wasnt for me so checked out the 'adult' room

Visited from another site called chatchattique where ive been a user for sum time, a guest user was spammin chatogo in main room presumably to steal users so looks like ogo users/ staff!/admin or whoever are flooding other sites to gain users??
I logged in as a guest as obviously I did not want to commit to registering an account right away

It's overrun with very questionable moderators that clearly have no idea what to do it's chalk and cheese polar opposite to how any chat ive ever used is run

HORRIBLE site! This site is for ALL ages, yet young kids/teenagers run it... and are absolute bullies to everyone! They call names, and tell other people to "kill yourself". When they are confronted by an actual adult... they go after those adults and make false accusations and say "why are you bullying kids"... and accuse them of being an online predator when the adult was just trying to defend others. Since the teenagers are mods, they then ban the individuals that they want too... and allow the bullies to stay since they are mainly all friends with each other.

This site is a joke.

Been using the site for 2 years now and I won't lie, it's not for everyone.
The site is 13+, meaning rules are aided to minors (not much anymore, but still mindful). If you seek having outrageous fun with 0 consequences, this site is NOT for you.

Moderators are human. Mistakes will happen and yes, some rules are a bit weird. Everyone claims there biased opinions is right, but so be it? Everyone is human and form their own morals.

Overall, the positive notes I have is its a good community. There are going to sensitive users cause majority are minors. If you want an adult focused site, this is not for you. The main hot spot for this site is Roleplaying. (Keep the role play pg. You will be banned for sexual roleplays.)

If you take a moment and actually listen to the moderators and not cause trouble, you're fine. The rules are simple and not difficult to learn. Just be a nice member to everyone and you'll enjoy your time here.

Unfortunately less than 30 minutes from first logging in I had my first real taste of what chatogo is really like
Two moderators felt it necessary to gang up on me with threats of being muted because I told someone being derogatory towards me to shut up,this was apparently enough to trigger them into becoming what I can only describe as the most arrogant pig headed pair of attitudy angst ridden teenagers I've ever met, hurling reminders of rules at me,upon questioning the rules and highlighting how unrealistic they are,I was muted!
Yes it seems most of the moderators are children as some other reviewers have pointed out
I may have stayed around longer,but the very bigheaded we are god type attitude of the moderators not to mention how many of them clearly abuse their position left me with only one decision,not to come back
My friend has also decided to stop using the site because of the way I wAs treated

It's filled with a bunch of meat head teens and fools who just banned people just for making a mistake.i got banned and even tho I asked for the admin to unbanned me they still did ughh never go on this site ever it's a waste of time and I can't believe I have 498 likes and I got banned and now all of my progress is messed up . This could be a decent site,if they fired the frankly useless current staff,and replaced them with people that KNEW what they were doing, honestly they haven't got a clue, you'd be better off with zippy and bungle from rainbow running the place!!!

I like this site but it has so many viruses. It says I've been blocked but I didn't do anything. Other than that I like the site.

The staff literally promote their friends instead of actual people who are trying to be good. The staff is immature and will mute/kick/ban you for the stupid stuff you probably didn't do. Like. One of their rules are " Can't take someone else's pfp " wth?
Nun ( Malina ) zero percent ( zp/lyra ) literally ruined the site by not doing anything about active rules abusers because they knew them for a long time. I have so much to say. I even got warned big time for " Don't wish death to anyone " even when they knew I was talking about the character homelander from the boys. These admins are absolutely jerks.

I had been using chatogo for about a year now and am absolutely SHOCKED at what I have seen and personally experienced on that site. First of all, their rooms are literally monitored BY TEENAGERS. These teenagers will give “warnings” for the pettiest things, yet they will allow horrible things to be done and said by others.

I was chatting in the general chat room which is a room for anywhere 13 years old and up, and a group of teenagers immediately started attacking me about my weight and calling me all kinds of inappropriate names. I was told to commit suicide, and even had death threats in my dms. NOTHING was done about this by the moderators or the administrators.

The worst thing was that they took my profile picture (yes it was a selfie of me) and decided to create fake accounts to chat explicitly to minors. The admin (who were of course their friends) then saw that as an opportunity to ban MY account for “bypassing” and for “being a pedophile.

I was absolutely livid, and still am. This should be taken EXTREMELY seriously on this site.. and this site should be shut down immediately! Also, the fact that chatogo has a rule that 17 year olds are allowed to date 19 year olds… and 16 year olds can dare 18 year olds?…. Yeah… THAT is pedophilia.

I tried emailing my concerns to the admin of chatogo on the email they provided, and was sent an email back immediately saying that email doesn’t even exist and it’s invalid. This site is literally insane.. it’s being ran by children, and the “owner” doesn’t even care about the other users concerns enough to provide a working email!!
