I do NOT recommend purchasing anything from this company. I purchased the Cavinoo router for $199. It took ages to arrive and when it did the problems started nearly immediately. The signal drops randomly every 20-40 minutes, and at times will not broadcast at all. I reached out to customer support and was told if I sent a video of the issue I would be able to return it. This turned into weeks of back and forth arguing with them about the defective router. I finally had to file a chargeback with my credit card, which is now in dispute and might take 3 months to resolve. Steer clear!!
This is a scam. They send you outdated material that does not work and then you need to pay a fortune to ship it mback to China. They don't pick up their product and say they won;t reimburse you. Thank God, I bought with Visa and got my money back but they harrass you with email after email generated by AI it seems.
Delayed shipping, then no response to multiple emails requesting (as required) an RMA as it arrived too late and no longer needed. 20% restocking fee is inappropriate these days.
Avoid this fraudulent company, should be stopped by trading standards.
And not allowed to sell in UK.
Bought a watch raised a refund from credit card company.
Sekoda actually refunded me.
Credit card company closed the complaint.
Now they are hounding me for payment,
threatening emails and saying it will affect my credit score.
They have been told to collect there product.
I cancelled the purchase 24 hours after purchase,
the request was ignored.
Sent them a copy of repayment from them and not my credit card company.

BEWARE: This company ships from China, so you basically can't return anything without paying a fortune and hoping it gets back to them and then maybe they will give you a return. And they only allow 14 days for returns. I had a router that I bought by mistake. Here's the email they sent me when I asked about returning it:

Please be aware, if you are ordering from Cavinoo Uk it is EXTREMELY difficult to return an item. After 4 emails asking for a return address, I have finally been offered a return address along with the following terms:

Please, please, please read the refund policy when purchasing an item, as it’s basically impossible to return an item if you simply change your mind. The item was £129.00. As above I have to pay out £35.00 in postage and then I am deducted a 15% handling fee, just because I changed my mind! BE CAREFUL. I definitely would not recommend this company for a UK shopper
I purchased a doorbell security camera,which was advertised as subscription free. It was £115. It took a while to arrive but I eagerly set it up. However,in order to play back the recordings of any activity,it required a subscription charge !! I contacted the customer services via the given email address,which was an odd one and immediately raised alarm bells. After several attempts to contact them in order to get the return details I realised I had been probably been conned . It is now in the hands of my bank to try and reclaim my money. Do not deal with this "company"!
GPS Smart watch looked very good and whilst not up there with a Garmin still looked good with lots of features. That is where it ended, apart from the time and messaging notifications, nothing else came anywhere near their advertising. I paid £139.00 I put it through its paces in the gym but it failed to record accurately my various workouts. Emails to the company were ignored. The email address on the site for boyh8794 (cannot list full email) should have rang alarm bells, but no response there. The support at cavinoo dot com (Email address not allowed)went unanswered so it is now with my credit card company to take up the matter - AVOID THEM AT ALL COST
