I called my insurance who then passed my details over to Catalyst. Catalyst were great from the start. Kept me up to date with what will be happening and when they will be attending. The guy who attended my property was great ... he checked all manholes to ensure there was no further blockages and double checked which bathroom was with which manhole.
I was however told on the phone that a camera will be put down to ensure that the blockage has cleared but this was not done and I was told by the guy who attended that I will have to call back in a couple of weeks if the problem doesn't get resolved. Thought this was somewhat mos-leading.
Other than this the remainder of the service was great!

Excellent very thorough and actually found a manhole cover that I had no idea existed at the bottom of the garden and I have lived here a long time.
Fixed the problem and didn’t give up. Very polite and pleasant.

A stange smell came from my drains and straight away without any hassle catalyst had someone come round in a flash.

The two technicians set to work immediately and found the mainwater pipe leak, which is under the driveway, within minutes. They also do a grand job of clearing up and making good after the job. The cost was very reasonable. I am very grateful because Thameswater wasn't able to locate the leak using the same instruments.

Catalys ignores their customer. They don't provide with a right phone number! They keep customers on the phone waiting over hours,switching to other catalyst advisors and then drop the call....from 2 days trying and nothing. Never met someting like that in my life before....

I have emergency cover with policy expert, reported a block drain to them who contacted this company for me. Within 30 minutes i got a call to say they will be getting so time slots together and call me back, this was around 6pm so was not expecting anything that night. Same lady called following day and said someone could be with me following morning. The contractor turned up just after 9am and unblocked with a few minutes. He checked it over for another 30 minutes before being happy. Excellent service, excellent communication, thank you to the whole team

I would strongly recommend avoiding. I have had an ongoing drainage nightmare which is now coming up on 2 years. Sewage drain in my back garden continually blocks every few months. Catalyst arranged engineers who recommended necessary repairs. These were carried out but have made no difference with the problem continuing exactly the same as before. The problem has either been misdiagnosed by them in the first place or a poor repair carried out. I have had other engineers from a different company attend to unblock the drain when the problem has again occurred and they believe the repair wasn't done properly. Two years on I'm no further forward, out of pocket a lot of money and Catalyst haven't responded to my last three emails despite saying they would look into this and help.

Passed onwards to this company to unblock the waste pipe by my insurance company as an emergency. Got a call at 3.50pm to tell me they will assign an engineer today. Then got a call at 7pm to advise me it will be tomorrow. It too them 3 hours on a Boxing day to figure out they wont be able to do it today. The lady told me it was Boxing day so cover was sparse. She could have told me that at 3.50pm. I could have then arranged my own emergency plumber. She then told me that if tomorrow wasnt good enough then they would cancel the contract and pass me back to the insurers leaving me stuck with no other options - i think this must have been her role today...to phone the client, keep them at bay until its too late and then call them again to tell them it will be tomorrow. Extremely unhelpful company!
Emergency cover? Only if you dont need it in an emergency. Let down by the insurers and Catalyst who claim they provide an emergency service but in reality they don't.
Update: got a call from the manager/owner of the company at 11.50pm in response to the 1 star review. Shame it took a review to get a response. Couldn't explain why it took 3 hours to merely offer me an appointment for the next day. That's all he could offer as well. I explained if i didnt have emergency cover and forced to go through Catalyst I would have had the issue resolved within a few hours with Dynorod.

The two workers came out to our house and unblocked the toilet within an half an hour and checked the sewer drain and checked everything was clear.

i contacted my insurance company about a blocked drain in my house. they contacted catalyst who then contacted me at 12 o clock. the gentleman from the drain company arrived at 2pm and had the block cleared by 3 pm. the engineer who arrived was brilliant. he was very pleasant and cleared up after him once the job was complete. all in all a very organised and efficient service. thank you catalyst.

The workers sent to do the repairs to our drains were fantastic James and Tom worked extremely hard with minimal mess they were from Kent drains sent by Catalyst.Catalyst were quick and efficient and were excellent from start to finish.

Preliminary investigation revealed awaterleak between our two properties. Catalyst services dealt with a complex problem both professionally and with consideration. A very good service in my opinion

I had a very problematic water leak under my conservatory and as I live in a row of 5 houses had to involve the next door neighbours so the problem could be fixed. My main engineer was called Chris and he couldn’t have been nicer, he knew what he was talking about and he was very understanding about the problems I was having and one night stayed working until 8pm. When the job was completed successfully he put the paths back to the original position and you would never know that there was any digging being done. Amminoor in the office was a star and went out of his way to sort out the problem I was having with one of my neighbours. I can’t recommend this team highly enough and would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone in the same situation I was in.

There was a problem with a blockage in a culvert under. The team worked very hard to clear the blockage once it was identified. They had to work in not ideal conditions as there was water involved and a lot of manhandling of large stones to remove out of the culvert Up steep steps

My wife and I were very pleased with your recent repair to a leaking underground water supply pipe.
