Very attractive lights, perfect.

arrived day after ordering

Purchased a light fixture that stated 7 days for delivery, after 9 days no item, i contacted them i they said "we are waiting for stock to arrive from the supplier which is delayed till 19th January unfortunately which we were not aware of when you placed your order" At no point did they contact me to let me know of the delay just kept my order and money. The response i got came from no name entity, they signed off Castlegate Lights... not a good experience. I asked for a refund, hoping they might be a bit more prompt responding, but had to follow this up too!

Fast Delivery/Good Seller. Glass Lampshade was well packaged and arrived much quicker than expected and was very well priced compared to others. Would definitely use again.

I did place the order for a lamp.
After waiting almost a week I did contact the company and get reply that my order is arriving shortly. After waiting few days again and not hearing from the company I did call again. The client advisor lied to me on the phone that they sent the email about my order where they stated it is delayed for about a month.
I did say that no email came and she straight away sent it to me again ,this time email came this time immediately. I was so disappointed , there is no communication between company and manufacturer.
I did book builders to work in my house and only was waiting for this lamp to arrive, but as Castlegates didn't communicate with me and it is all now has to be cancelled. The lady on the phone lied to me twice, first about email and second that online is correct information. As online it was saying that it will be delivered in 3-5 working days. When i spoke to her , the information was updated immediately, where they stated it will be available in January , which is 2 months waiting.
The final comment from me , just stay away from the companies like that. They kept my money for more than a week, when requested refund got email that they will contact me in 2 days. I dont know how many people waiting for their orders right now and what is happening there with the clients money.
Just stay away from them.

I loved the lamp but gave a 3 score because it came with a 2 prong plug. Got in touch with them and was asked to send pics so they could find an adaptor. Had to get in touch again but no reply. I'm still looking for one

I still have not got my products and no one is answering or replying to calls and messages

It’s almost laughable that some how the poor reviews disappear, only to be replaced by high star reviews. The revue I posted in 25th October is not where it should be… TrustPILOT OR Castlegate… but something smells

ordered a large number of lights which where not in stock, they organized that they would be sent directly from there supplier all arrived the next day

Order placed 20th October, today, 30th October, spoke to Debbie who informed me that these items are not in stock but are actually ordered in. I have been informed that "the order has not been placed for some unknown reason, your goods will be ordered today." Further questioning revealed that the goods would be with Castlegate Lights in 7 - 10 days and would be despatched within 2 -3 days after their receipt. Debbie could offer no explanation but would "raise my concerns with her manager."

I have now cancelled my order and requested a refund. Assurances have been given that my money, over £150 will be back in my account within 5 days. We will see!!

We bought some lights which were faulty, we emailed and asked for an exchange only to be told all of the lights were the same (large air bubbles throughout the light shade) We were advised there was no collection process and that we would have to return the lights and this would be refunded. We followed these instructions only to be told we would not be receiving the return postage costs as we did not complete the returns process correctly.

We will not be a returning customer

I ordered 2 drum lights which arrived well packaged. However on opening one light was OK the other was battered beyond and must have been put in the box in this awful condition as there was no damage apparent on the packaging. I telephoned several times but no response and then e.mailed to say how disappointed l was,again no response. Read through their conditions which firmly stipulate returns must be re-packaged in original packing and returned for inspection and refund. These lamps were not expensive £34 and in the end l decided to pack up and arrange delivery was not worth the effort. I took several photos and how this shade passed inspection is beyond me. I would not touch this Company with a bargepole especially when l saw similar at Next for less money. Dreadful non-existent customer service
