Excellent all round. No problems

The following was requested by Tray, a representative of carpetcall, shortly after he gained the sale. I thought he did a great job at sales and thus submitted this review, again, at his request. You can see my original review at the bottom of this current review.

It is now over 10 weeks after, when the agreed upon date for installation was 8 weeks. I have heard nothing about the three installations. To itemise: 2 instalments I have heard absolutely nothing, despite my texts. Concerning the third installation, I just found out there is some kind of mix up with the number of panels I originally agreed to. I just now reminded Tray via email that the number of panels I requested initially was non-negotiable.

I am now sick and tired of not only the lack of communication after the sale, but a rather hostile email reply from a David from carpetcall after I asked for a refund on all three instalments. I have no further action but to pursue legal action through the WA tribunals etc . Please, witness my experience and avoid this company.

What was once a fun venture to impress my friends with new blinds on three different rooms has now turned into a very negative experience that I have to go to court over.

I will continue documenting my experience here as I move toward formal legal action regarding carpetcall.

This is the original post I sent, just for sincere clarity:

"Shout out to Tray and Jerry at the Cannington store for their quick response in accommodating my last-minute request. I called, and they came out the same day, spending nearly an hour working through all my (very picky) requirements. To top it off, they offered a great discounted price. Looking forward to the installation!"

Ordering & payment system was easy to use.
Updates about transition & delivery process was was updated regularly.
Parcel arrived on time.
Overall great service.

My installer, Steve, was very friendly and professional. My shutters look great, very pleased with them

Very happy with rug but disappointed with delivery. I had asked for it to be delivered to my door as I have mobility issues but when I buzzed the driver into my building he just left it in the foyer so I had great difficulty getting it into the elevator and up 2 floors to my unit

Appalling service. There is minimal communication between the sales and installers. So many installing issues for a tiny job for carpet and flooring. They all seem to operate independently. Extremely disappointed. Do not waste your money!

Still no notification re product and weeks have gone by!!
I guess the war will be blamed despite product being being ordered long before! I plan to cancel this order for a second time in 2 months.

Absolutely outstanding service from Matthew, Cem and Rob at the South Morang store! Very knowledgeable, and happy to explain all the differences and price points of the different options. Very patient with us while we went through the build process and changed our minds several times. Second time we have purchased through this team, and will do so again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Product found on line - payment and delivery was convenient and efficient

We received exceptional service from Sandeep at the Capalaba store. He was patient, helpful and provided great advice. Definitely can highly recommend.

We were served by Mashal at the Penrith store on several occasions over the past two weeks and she was attentive and helpful each time. Mashal rang around to other stores to secure the product we wanted and helped us to get the best price for the rugs we purchased. Thanks Mashal.

Zack was fantastic to deal with, so easy going and not pushy which was important to us!
Carpet Call had a great range to choose from and nothing was too much trouble for Zack.
Would hands down recommend this company, Zack and the other staff members to anyone.

Completely unsatisfactory experience! Carpet Call West Gosford very keen and happy to assist us to commit to sale of Coretec Hybrid flooring. Installers would not proceed unless extra $1595 paid immediately for small area of levelling and sanding on top of the $9650 already paid in advance. We paid! Installation was a debacle, hundreds of marks left from a rubber mallet, little cleaning of floor and mess everywhere. Entry stairs poorly laid with noticeable “run” down one side. Once told of problems, Carpet Call West Gosford refused to come to inspect our floor (70+square metres) and continually said to just send emails and photos! After two months of phone calls, emails, store visits and Head Office involvement, two new installers came and using a special cleaner managed to remove marks. No help to re-lay stairs! Months of stress and still no answer!!!! Very disappointing, as Carpet Call’s founder is supposedly known and awarded for his customer first philosophy, seven-day service culture and un- wavering attention to detail that has certainly not been followed in this instance!!!

Great customer service by the local Richmond team and real care shown to me. The carpet rug is just as described (ordered online). Thanks carpet call team!

Very nice carpet - fits perfectly into our dining room. Nice to walk on, very comfy & cosy looking and feeling. Price for it okay.

Do not use Carpet Call Auburn. Danny and Sam engage in dodgy business practices. We agreed on a supply and install amount for hybrid floors and carpet. I paid the amount in full that we agreed on and then when the installer arrived, he pulled up the 50% of the old floor and then said you need to pay another $2700 to prepare the floor. We felt like we were held to ransom until it was agreed and paid. The amount was to be paid direct to the installer, also dodgy. The installer was getting angry at me and said this happens all the time. Then he did a terrible job and included scotia and silicone to cover the uneven edges. I asked him to fix it and he said that is how it is. I emailed head office over two weeks ago and no response. Do not use Carpet Call or Flooring Enterprise to install. If you look at other reviews. This seems to be common business practices.

Great service from Sandeep Kumar at Capalaba. Looking forward to delivery of our new rug.

Bought a runner for my stair case in September last year, from the fortitude valley store.
Now February still not installed.
The experts in the trade alright.
The Queensland manager John is ducking and weaving.
To why I cannot understand.
He will not answer any messages or calls.
No option but to take the matter further.
These cowboys couldn’t train pigs to be dirty.
6 months shame on you carpet call.

I was having a challenge understanding the floor preparation process at my place this morning with the onsite contractors. I rang the Jindalee store and to Dmitry, I explained the situation, he spoke to the onsite contractors and then relayed back the situation & steps to put my mind at ease.
