Cardiff Bus Omdömen 

Awful service. Been waiting for over 40 minutes for either a 44/45/49/50. In eastern leisure centre 2 (49/50) buses were cancelled, went to carpenters arms, 45 cancelled. The next one was supposed to be here at 17:41 and it’s now 17:55 and no bus around. Disgusting service for the prices.

Absolutely shocking, we've been waiting for almost an hour for a bus and there's not been a single bus, there's been many buses going the opposite way but none coming back. This is diabolical. Cardiff bus sort yourselves out!!!

Dreadful service .the 21 &23 busses not reliable at all .many times have waited Fri and sat evening at Merthyr rd shops 20.18 to come home and AGAIN no show bus .you seriously need to get your act together it's a bloody disgrace .you encourage people to use public transport and it Doesn't turn up so I hope Craig Hampton Stone can sort the mess out

Awful service, stand at the bus stop digital screen says bus due in 10 mins, after 10 mins changes to 30 minutes, this is regular.

Absolutely diabolical. Saturday night and not one bus turned up for over an hour on route 27. No that’s a lie, one came and said not in service. The time table kept saying 9 mins to go. Missed a dinner reservation because of your incompetence. The table table at the bus stop is also different to online. Not that it makes a difference. Sort it out. It’s embarrassing.

I cannot see how this bus service could be any worse!! Buses that do not turn up. People abandoned on bus stop waiting for a bus that will never turn up. Buses not stopping to pick people up even though they are passing stops while traveling into the city as bus taken off service. Managers need sacking. A bunch of Chimpanzees could do better!

Absolutely disgsguted with Cardiff bus stopping the 49/50 from running up & down Burnham Avenue between the roundabout from Llanrumney Ave to the shops at the bottom of Burnham Avenue with no consultation & no regards to the people with disabilities, elderly,people with medical conditions or people who rely on this service to get to work or school making them stuggle to walk further in all kinds of weather adding more stress & strain to them . They have treated the people of LLanrumney with disdain & utter contempt, should not be allowed to get away with this. The service was terrible before it's even worse now. They should have their licence revoked & replaced with a better service provider

It was good before but it turned bad because buses go every 20 mins not 10 and it's raising the prices

I was left feeling extremely distressed and anxious following an incident with Cardiff Bus last Thursday evening in Llandaff. I boarded the bus and presented my debit card to make payment. But, it didn’t work and the driver explained that it wasn’t contactless (it was a card I don’t usually use, and I had assumed that all cards are contactless, so I was genuinely shocked that this wasn’t the case). I explained this to the driver, but he made me get off, and I had to walk home in the dark, which made me feel really vulnerable. The fare would have been £2.00/£2.20 which I believe is a small amount, and I believe that your drivers should be allowed discretion in circumstances such as this, where it was clearly a genuine mistake – not a deliberate attempt to avoid paying. I believe that health and safety should be the highest priority and that no bus driver should make someone leave the bus in circumstances such as this, where it puts them at risk of harm/being attacked by walking home, at night, in the dark, when they could have been safe in the bus.

6/9/23 number 8 bus from Cardiff central to Cardiff bay. SUCH A HORRIBLE USELESS bus driver.
The bus was late and he Didn’t stop in Corporation road(around 13:40) he even laugh at my face. I ended up walking 25m and late for work. The bus service in Cardiff is the worst service I ever see in my life. Show some respect for your customers.

I’d love to know which idiot designed the new 101/102 route. It goes nowhere near any shops like Albany road/city centre. Do Cardiff bus actually give a damn about their customers? Most of which are elderly and disabled who rely on a bus service so they can live a fairly normal life!! If I could I wouldn’t give you a rating 0/10

The bus timetable and when the bus is set to come on the display seems arbitrary…the time table says one time the display says another. Honestly the worst bus service and they don’t even care because they’ll up the price just because they can and do very little to improve the service. Cardiff buses are just truly awful.

Vile fraudulent service. How can they get away with such illegal practices. We paid for return travel from Sulley to Cardiff. However, on return the driver told us that we were misold tickets and they were invalid. Local people at the bus stop informed us they do this to every visiting tourist. Well done south Walian government and tourist board for treating visitors like scum. There's a reason for one star rating

i am sat on this bus raging. i got on the bus and straight away the bus driver shouted at the boy in front of me telling him it’s gone through. obviously he was waiting for his ticket. how is he meant to know. then i asked for a day to go and tapped my card i heard a beep so i’m wondering why my ticket hasn’t come through it’s because he didn’t tap anything just sat there then eventually he clicked it and then was rushing me to tap my card giving me the same filthy looks he was giving the boy in front of me. just overall a grumpy old man. the attitude on this guy literally ruined my day i’ll make sure to get a c1 from now on.

The buses are more often never showing up on basically 60% of the time.
To improve they simply need to who up more than they don't show up or at least provide updates on the bus boards

I was waiting for the number 8 or 9 service which both go to the same end destination, a hospital, and travel through my area. Two services were just removed and never showed up and when a bus arrives, nearly 40 minutes later it is ram packed and makes it impossible to disembark without nearly taking out someone's eye or ripping the limbs of a small child in passing. Cardiff bus need to seriously improve their service and their customer service team has also failed to respond via social media

All I can say cardiff bus are the worse ever its getting to be a joke they think we are cattle squeezing every one on the bus
They cancel bus's constantly I've never seen it this bad before but I bet they had record profits
I will buy a bike this week and start riding its easier no more waiting 1 hour for bus and then not turning up

I can simply no longer afford the inconveniences this so called 'service' provides. £16 and 6 hours of my life. Do they genuinely expect me to be at the bus stop an hour ahead of time?

Advice for those who use this bus 'service':

1. Calculate how long it will take you to walk to your destination.

2. Leave 10-15 mins in advance of said time.

Absolute shambles... Bought an all day to go ticket and you can't even find the bus you need to get on!! And don't even bother using the busses when the rugby is on.. capital of Wales without a bus/ coach station..

Even the bus drivers don't know where they are going OR direct you to a connecting bus. Dreadful absolutely dreadful.
