Cardiff Bus Omdömen 

Awful service, letting passengers down time and again by taking vehicles off service which are shown as live on the App.
An embarrassment for the City of Cardiff. Services rarely on time, thankfully am not reliant on Cardiff bus every day as have been let down on numerous occasions this year trying to get to social engagements and sporting events.
Utterly hopeless.

What a load of crap, waiting for llanedryn bus on Albany road is a joke, there's about 59 people waiting I ain't seen one bus in. Over an HR this is why I use a car. Never get the bus in Cardiff

8/12/24 arrived at stop @ 2.00pm and waited for the 27 @Heol Hir due 2.14pm. A 27 arrived @ 2.10pm but was "Set down only" (as it was late) and let the only passenger off. The gent behind myself and my wife told the driver that the next 27 HAD NOT LEFT TOWN but he would not let us (five in total) on as he was not allowed to !!! What IDIOT on control at that time told the driver to be set down only when the next bus was not anywhere near? We finally got a 27 at 2.50pm (40 minutes later) and arrived at Cardiff Castle at 3.30pm AN HOUR AND A HALF AFTER REACHING THE STOP !!! Apparently the drivers are NOT ALLOWED to contact control and query if they could take on passengers in circumstances such as this !!! Bone headed stupidity and a total disregard for passengers by Cardiff by controllers who clearly have no idea how much their stupidity affects passengers. Apparently the previous 27 was late as was the one before that. Even so, the (late) bus we could not get was four minutes earlier than the next 27 that was due which was at 2.14pm. Surely they could have ensured it waited at the bottom of Excaliber Drive for four minutes until it was the time tabled time for the next bus and it would then have been a number 27 on time and rectified the situation, but NO ....bone head idiocy rules !!! WHAT A SHAMBLES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would Cardiff bus state on there website that there's a temporary bus stop, not mark it on the road, and then use the original bus stop? Just waited 30 mins for a bus that should be running every 10 minutes. Ridiculously late and app is unhelpful. Not the first time this has happened.

Spent 50 minutes in Fairwater stop waiting for my 61 bus, the bus just drove past my stop to put a cherry on top, just took a taxi instead.

Route 63 driver decided to change route yesterday evening. The driver decided to travel up Heol Isaf through Radyr returning to town and ignored all the stops on the housing estate in Radyr when he should have turned up Bryn Derwen.
Made us late for reunion meal in Llandaff.
Use public transport - what a joke!!!
According to many bus users this has happened frequently in the past. Please don't make up your own routes!!!

three buses are all coming within minutes of eachother. how does that even work

Service 57/58, most unreliable service ever, had to wait on the cold for an hour plus with my baby because they bus drivers wouldn’t let us in even though there was only one pram on all occasions. More than 4 bus passed and 2 others were cancelled. My baby got really sick from the cold.

The most unreliable evening bus service of any city I have ever visited. Scheduled buses never turn up (they are not running late, they just don’t turn up at all). Don’t bother with a return ticket, because you’ll not have a chance to use it. Amateurs.

Bus driver wouldn't let me on even tho there was seats.time 1343 on llanedeyrn Rd number 57. I'd like a reply from cardiff bus and can supply photos.disgusting

have different fares for inner and outer city, provide no info on what is inner what is outer. Provide no ticket on entry so you dont know what you are being charged. You have to scan your card twice while being held a hostage. If you would forget to scan oyour bank card on exit then they would rack up whatever they want on it. Upon exiting the bus you have to request the driver for a ticket otherwise they dont care at all. Just all in all poorly handled and appalling

Since when do i have to tap my card twice to buy a bus ticket? Why do you think its ok to hold ppl hostages? What if someone forgets to tap their card again? What kind of slavery hostage type nonsense are these practices?

Absolute joke. Number 45 never turns up, leaving town, even though the display tells you that it's on it's way. On Friday 20th May, it took 90 minutes to get
from wood street to Kwik save stop in St Mellons. The buses are packed. For a capitol city, it's a disgrace. Someone needs to give this company a big shake-up.

61 drivers waiting for the other bus to catch up. just sat there driver inside and now very late. but yet when the other bus turns up all of a sudden there is movement.

Not good, im not sure got barry fare for £3.30, have they put it up again.

Saw me running for bus still pulled off and laughed. I had to run to next stopby Angel Hotel.He was there smoking outside bus and laughed at me again. He was highly amused.I would give no stars but will not let me.

I got off stagecoach bus and set off to get Cardiff bus no.94 at bus interchange. It's a bit of a trek after hip replacement surgery, fractured arm in a sling, and a bit of trouble seeing. I eventually got to vicinity of bus place, could see buses but no entrance ( my approach was from st.marys street. After limping back n fore I reluctantly headed for the bus only to be told off by a tall man in a tabard. He told me that there was a sign telling me not to walk the way I did. I asked where the sign is for the entrance. He wouldn't tell me, just repeated himself. I said I was looking for the entrance, he said central square which means nothing to me. I asked him his name tried to looked name badge at which he said was assault, (I assume he thought I was going to touch name badge)then ran off shouting 'security'. Well maybe touching a name badge is technically assault, but given my condition and his size believe that wasn't called for. The security man admitted that there probably weren't signs for entrance, told me that I wouldn't like it if someone touched my lanyard and not to do it again! I pointed out that on occasions patients do touch my name badge, when trying to remember my name.
I found the incident very distressing,and it makes me wonder how people with disabilities are treated at the bus interchange.

bus driver has a face like a slapped a#ss. no enthusiasm brought to the job whatsoever. the app said that the bus was coming to the stop in 2 minutes so i had enough time as i was only a few metres away from the stop. the bus then comes 15 seconds later and i’m forced to put my hand out to the bus driver when i’m not at the stop. the big baby of a bus driver then gets really grumpy and tells me to be at the stop next time and i continue to apologise yet he doesn’t acknowledge it and still stared at me as if he hated my guts. this was the 63 bus on the way to cardiff central at roughly 12:24

I would like to have the ely buses 17 and 18 have use of the station as it is a popular bus that more people would use the station
