I would neve use them. They collect all your info then deny everything. Use cardcash raise, giftcardoutlets if you want to be treated right.

I have order many gift cards from them and all but one had a validity issue. As soon as I let them know, they immediately issued me a new one. The customer service is excellent. I don't hesitate to buy from cardcookie.

I have been using card cookie since 2017. On occasion I don’t order my gift card Wilton enough time for the card cookie team to verify my purchase, this does mean that they are actually verifying your purchase.

In 2023 I had a new experience. The card I was sent was about 10% the size ordered. Tom quickly emailed me back with a new card! Fantastic customer service!

Sometimes I got problems with Gift Cards, but there is excellent customer service for handling it.

I love buying gift cards from card cookies, I usually will receive the gift cards in a few hours. Additionally, whenever there’s an issue with the gift card, they will resolve the issue right away. Very trustful. But if you can have the app for customers to download would be even better. Thank you.

i've purchased at least 40 gift cards from CardCookie over the past year, and in the few rare instances in which a gift card did not have the promised value, they immediately replaced it with one of equal or higher value. Can't rate CardCookie highly enough!

I had a gift card that didn’t work - emailed support with the order number and gift card number and they gave me a working code for the same value in less than 5 minutes.

Untrusting company. I was a good customer for years and when I lost access to one of my phone numbers, the one associated with them, they were SUPPOSED to move all my account stuff and verification to my other account. They didn't. And actually expected me to send them ID verification again. AND treat all their customers like criminals. They act as though if you want a lot of gift cards you must be a scammer. You know, as opposed to someone who WANTS TO SAVE MONEY. It's all garbage and a complete headache. And coincidentally, a terrible way to buy an appliance or anything else expensive. Though WHY ELSE WOULD YOU BUY A LOWES GIFT CARD AT ALL! Or lots of the other ones. Complete pain.

The discounts are worth the occasional frustration for me!

I would not however recommend it to my parents as they like to save money but not when it involves this much time.

LONG explanation:

I was very skeptical about buying discounted gift cards on the CardCookie website at first. At times gift cards are sold at a 12% discount! Seemed too good to be true. I can’t remember what lead me to try it out/risk my money.

The first gift card I purchased was for Walmart. I had difficulty figuring out how to use it. It seems most successful if I go to a cashier. Paying at self checkout, the pharmacy, or another department seems too difficult. Usually the regular cashiers know how to enter the gift card. Sometimes I still come across a cashier that does not know how to enter/scan my gift card. But once I overcome that hurdle, then I have had no other issues with the gift cards.

The iTunes gift cards have given me the most issue. I think there are gift cards for the Apple Store and then iTunes gift cards? Either way this has only been an issue twice. It was only a little frustrating for me because I didn’t know why I was unable to redeem the gift card. Both times I messaged CardCookie after I was sure the redemption failure was not due to something I was doing wrong (like typing the gift card redemption code in wrong - they are always so long and a crazy mix of letters and numbers!). Both times CardCookie was able to resolve the matter quickly by replacing the gift card with one that I was able to successfully use.

Now that I know how to use CardCookie, I love it and am frequently checking the website for good deals

I was trying to buy a gift card to bass pro shop for my husband’s birthday. I provided all the information requested, including phone number verification and using a credit card in my name with all of my billing info that can easily be confirmed with Chase bank. They emailed asking me to use a third party site to upload my passport or ID. Absolutely not! I'm not sending a photo of my personal documents to a third party site to buy a dang gift card.

I have ordered two Walmart gift cards $100 each and when I try to use them, I was shocked to find the balance left was 0.74 and 1.58. I frequently use this site to buy GCs but this was never happened. I have notified CC team immediately and was able to do the replacement for the same amount that I have placed the order for. and it was quick. issue was resolved in 1 hr 5 mins. Thanks to CC team.

One of the gift cards I bought wasn’t valid so I couldn’t add it to my Target account. I contacted customer support and heard back quickly. It took two more tries but I finally got a gift card that worked and it was worth slightly more than what I originally ordered. Their customer support department was quick about responding and fixing the issue. This was the first time I had an issue and I’m very pleased with their assistance. Definitely recommend!

I've only had positive experiences with them, and if there are any issues with the card, they promptly respond and fix it.
